Lovely clean apartment room, beautifully renovated bathroom with huge spa bathtub. Room was back from the road so didn't hear a lot of road noise the area is known for. Felt safe and secure. Easy check in and check out process, amazingly helpful and attentive staff - came with to room to turn on the heaters and show how tv and bath etc work. Housekeeping service each day if you want it. Will definitely stay here again.

The onsite parking was immediately outside the rooms and the spaces were generously wide. The room (#2) was well equipped overall and very comfortable. The microwave was very good and I'd like to find out the brand (which I didn't see on the actual unit) and get the same model for home. The woman staffing the desk - Iris, was exceptionally helpful. I had requested a ground floor room, justifying the request by noting I'd come of a total knee replacement in the past few months. Based on that information, she generously offered help with the bags and getting me settled in. This was my first time at Salerno Motel Apartments but certainly will not be my last as I live in NZ and go to Christchurch from time to time.

Not a big deal for me as I am a hot tea drinker but there were no glasses provided in the room, only ceramic cups. That was likely a one off housekeeping oversight as there were plates, cutlery, and all other basics.

They had Netflix and I do not usually watch them, but I wanted to see one of the series so, it was nice. Most of the Hotel have TV but not connected these pay views...

The enterance of the Hotel is very difficult to find when driving and passed the entrance. If you miss the enterance, then you have to go around again but it is very busy road so that it is troublesome to go back again....it is my mistake but if the road is more quiet road, it could be much better but this is something we could not complain....

We have stayed at this accommodation before and chose to book here again due to the good experience we had previously, we had room 9 again and it was just as we remembered. Super happy with the stay, clean, comfortable, friendly reception, good selection of tea, coffee etc… washing machine in our room included complementary washing powder. Ordering door dash was super easy for the dashers.

Was lovely and clean. Very easy to heat on the chilly evenings. Lovely big jetted tub with plenty of hot water. I liked having a separate bedroom, off the living area, plus self catering options.

The staff very very lovely but didn't understand English well and we had difficulty getting them to understand a couple of requests. The loud traffic, through the late evening and into the early morning, was unexpected.

The service and welcome was fabulous and is what would bring us back to Salerno. We had just completed a 5 day cycle ride and the owner gave us complimentary bath salts for the spa bath. Bliss. She also recommended a delicious Thai takeaway only minutes from the motel. For a small fee they did all our washing and returned it to the room later that day.

Absolutely perfect! No complaints whatsoever, and to be honest I would ignore most if not all of the negative reviews from others as they’re actually quite pathetic. The room smelled amazing the moment we walked in, clean, nicely updated. Everything you would need they had, bathroom products, kitchen utensils and a nice selection of coffees & teas. At check-in they offered free toothbrush&paste, razor and hand-made soap. As well as a couple options to purchase snacks. The lady at the office was absolutely lovely! Ran us over a couple things to remember. The road noise is not bad at all, but if you can’t handle a little noise then don’t book in the city. Parking was good, spa was nice, shower was amazing!! Absolutely no complaints! Bed was firm and to our preference which was great. We will definitely be back. We got an upstairs unit, good view over parking lot so our car was in sight, our unit was number 9 and it suited me perfectly as no one needed to walk passed it being the unit on the end.

Be mindful of the tiled floor, can be rather slippery.

The whole atmosphere was great and the staff was wonderful as we arrived later than the check in time and even got shown around the room and how to use the spa bath and wifi password, ect. Was a great experience and the soundproofing and warm room made it feel cozy and private.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for my standards but that is about it my partner slept like a log.

spacious and clean bathroom and even though a small kitchen it had good amount of utensils and cups etc. Great location, nice and quiet guests all around so didnt hear any noise apart from some traffic in the night so felt safe.

I didn't like the tired and worn out 2 seater in the lounge. It wasn't comfortable and for 2 adults it was too small. The room can fit a 3 seater couch and would feel more homely. Also the couch was quite saggy so felt like it was well worn.

The bed was comfortable, and it was clean,had everything you needed, spa worked great.

The only thing that we didn't like was the people above us were very noisy, as we were on bottom floor,and they had a domestic problem and were very loud, no respect for others sleeping, well trying to. The second night we had people having a spa in the room above us very late,so it was noisy.
