Immaculately clean throughout the room and bathroom, and the upstairs room was very spacious (especially for a single traveler). Very friendly reception by the owner and plenty of parking space. There was some construction going on around the edge of the property, so there were some dumpsters, etc, near one entrances. I usually avoid staying on Bealey Ave as the traffic can be noisy at night (especially Fri/Sat) but the room was nice and quiet for the most part. The location was nice and central which meant that using taxis/Ubers, etc was cheap to get around town. Not to much for children to do around the place currently but there is a full range of Sky channels, incl movie channels so that might help.

No real issues.

Very clean spacious room with a Queen bed and a single, 2 x lazy boy type chairs, table and chairs, a fan, kitchen and an excellent shower. The beds were super comfy and we slept like logs. The lady at Reception was lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The price was also excellent.

Only a few things that I would fix. The plug was missing from our sink and there was paint starting to peel off in the bathroom, and one of the wall lights above the queen sized bed didn't work. We changed the lightbulb and it still didn't work, so must be an electrical problem. The owners would only know about the light if someone told them. These are small things, that did not take away from our great stay.

Thank you to the lovely hosts and staff at Country Glen. I stayed for 3 nights. From the warm welcome on arrival, impressive spacious room, the immaculately cleanliness was all so impressive. I really appreciated that housekeeping cleaned my room, changed my towels etc everyday. It was so lovely to come back to at end of the day. Oh and I can’t forget the water pressure, 10/10 is the best pressure for sure. Thank you again, I will definitely be back & recommending you motel.

The motel was easily accessible and in a good location. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed, it was very spacious, with a full kitchen, separate toilet, good shower, comfy bed and lounge furniture. The host was efficient and I had to get a parcel couriered there and he was very accommodating and when it was delivered he brought it up to our room.

The shower pressure was great but I didn't like the fix shower head. I would have far preferred a slide head (detachable). And there should be a sign that you can hang on the door or some system that housekeeping can just change towels or whatever but they know in advance

The room and facilities were a lot better than pictured on booking.com, we were very pleased. The shower was modern and there was lots of little modern touches that just made sense, e.g. smart TV, plugs with USB sockets.

Being able to check in earlier due to my infant needing to get down for a sleep. I contacted them ahead of time but unfortunately the timing didn't work out.

We were extremely surprised that our room had been newly renovated, but regardless we were extremely happy that it was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely walk into the city centre. We arrived from the airport in the early hours of the morning and check in was effortless. We would highly recommend.

I cannot say anything negative, as our stay was perfect.

Beds super comfortable. Two beautiful friendly cats that live at the motel. Very clean room and tvs have great selection of sky and netflix

Queen bed was two singles that connect together. Ideally a proper queen bed would increase comfort

Nice friendly staff, great cleaner. The only problem I had was the room heater was a bit old and when you turn it off and on again after a while it didn't work. The reception staff said it is a small electrical contact which probably doesn't work properly and needs to be replaced.

The room heater, needs to be fixed or replaced. The bathroom window is not shutting perfect(draft when windy)

Close to Southern Cross Hospital Beds were comfy Staff very friendly and helpful Room was good size and had 2 recliner chairs which was great. Quiet as we were at the back so we didn't hear any road noise.

The pressure with the shower....too much pressure. The shower rose couldnt tighten so it flopped facing down if you had only a little water coming through but if you had it pulled out for more water the shower rose flipped straight up and had water spraying all over the bathroom. Water went everywhere and you had to wipe the floor for water before leaving the bathroom otherwise you'd get wet feet using the toilet. Might have been just the unit we had though.

Room was spacious and kept clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and the storage space was ideal. The location was very convenient and parking was plentiful. Overall an excellent stay for the price.

Ants infested the kitchen so we had to move the food to a different part of the room, and the cleaning staff were rather noisy while we tried to sleep.
