Location was fine as I was heading up the coast.room was really clean and everything worked but windows need new seals and bathroom area needs updating.

I liked the room - I have stayed there before.

Their dog running wild - should not have been on the property where the patrons stayed. I have been bitten seriously by a dog and didn't think they considered, that not all people are keen on dogs. Also the fact that they do not provide fruit like tinned peaches or apricots with the cornflakes for a continental breakfast? That they do not provide air con - really hot in the summer at Wainui Beach and a ceiling fan is not suitable.

The room, full kitchen, the layout and private patio, easy to find off the main road. I really appreciated that the outside lighting switched off after 10pm, so there wasn't lights shining into the room through the curtains overnight. Beds were comfortable and adequate for our needs. There was a little mix up with out booking, as we needed 2 rooms. However it was sorted quickly and we appreciated the outcome.

The Ventician blinds by the front door were a bit broken and didn't fully close. An extra roll of loo paper would have been good. Just fyi....If you aren't used to drinking tank water or Gisborne water, have a couple of water bottles for drinking water. It didn't bother me, I'm used to it, but some of my family weren't fans.

Beautiful place to stay only downside was no aircon clean rooms comfortable bed and loved the outside area and privacy

No aircon or even a fan in the middle of summer, wasn't stipulated on the website when we booked that there was no air-conditioning in the room apart from that was not too bad the spa jets didn't work so kind of felt a bit ripped to be honest as the spa was a big sell for us booking our stay there.

I didnt have breakfast. I liked the availability, cleanliness, the spaciousness.

I feel the bedroom being right up front was a little spooky for some reason. Maybe it was the venetians - could swap them for heavy curtains instead. Also didnt enjoy the stuffiness of the room as big and spacious as it is. The big floor fan was too noisy but opening windows and slider instead allowed flies and bugs to enter.

There were plenty beds for my 5 mokopuna and I. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Laundry was cheap too. The host was friendly and we felt welcome, a good thing with all these kids. Previous reviewd moaned about the traffic noise and while you could sometimes hear it it didn't impact on our stay.

The blinds don't really keep the light out or warmth in, thankfully there are heaters so you're kept warm. The beds were of the old spring style so firmer than what I'm used to. We thought we had a private space of the back of our room however we didn't we had the rubbish bins. I thought I had booked a bath but we only had a shower, that's nothing really to moan about but a reminder to check what you booked. All in all we actually really enjoyed our stay here. So don't weight these to high.

A well-appointed room with good self-catering facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect for a short or longer stay in the Gisborne area.

No air-conditioning. It was very hot when we arrived, but the receptionist had very kindly put the ceiling fan on before we got there. However, something the management need to consider, I think.

The location was perfect and much closer to the Beach than was expected. Beautiful Beach and great that it was within walking distance. Our Room was adequate for our family group - staff were very helpful in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Loved the spa bath in the room, very romantic staff was very helpful and friendly super nice people, clean spacious room- great for a couple nights

Wish the heater was larger and the kitchen area was a little bigger, I also think the beds could be upgraded they are quite stiff.

Absolutely beautiful apartments, very spacious and well kept! Excellent hosts - very helpful and checking we had all we needed re: blankets etc in the room.

Just a note for those needing dinner - you need to drive back into town, but is not that far!
