Warm welcome. Clean. All the facilities that we wanted. Relaxing break and easy check in. Safe car park. Just what we were after for an overnight stop. Would like to have had time for a second night.

Fridge exterior got very hot when cupboard door was closed. Not a problem, we just left this door open.

Bella Vista motel is easily located on Tahunanui Rd, a short distance from airport by taxi. The studio room was very clean, modern, and a good range of coffees, teas and biscuits was provided. A super comfy bed, complimentary bathroom tioletries and soft white towels were all very welcome for the tired traveler. A bus stop around the corner to Nelson central was most convenient.

We booked and paid online but were still asked for our credit card information and had to fill out a form with car registration etc , never been asked for this anywhere before . when booking and paying online they should be sent all this information.

Staff were friendly and chatty. The room itself was very clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. It was also quite quiet, but I'm not sure if this was because the other guests were considerate or the room was sufficiently soundproofed.

Two minor things. I booked here specifically for the complimentary airport shuttle, and mentioned this at the time of booking and prior to arrival, but was only told when I checked in that my flight was too early for the shuttle. However, I was provided with the number for the local taxi company, and the fare was only about $15, so not a major issue. Secondly, I think it would be useful to invest in some insect screens for the windows. The night I stayed it was super hot and it would have been nice to have the breeze. But as I said, minor issues in an overall great stay.

Good location, close to the airport. Had almost everything we needed for a one night stay.

There was little ventilation in the room, just the window. It was a very muggy night and without a fan there was no way to cool the room down, didn’t get much sleep. There were also security guards in the room next to us (unsure if they were employed by Bella Vista or guests) who had their door open very late into the night, speaking very loudly with guests over making a lot of noise. Had to get up at 1am to ask them to be quiet and shut the doors. If they weren’t employed by Bella Vista then not their issue, but if they were it’d be something to consider.

The Bella Vista was only a few minutes taxi ride from the airport so it suited us well. Our host was also able to recommend some great places to eat and visit. The rooms were so clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Definitely return there on our next visit.

A modern motel and of a standard that rates with other motels in this chain. It is a little way out of the main town but not a problem if travelling by car. Very obliging staff, even, after we had mistakenly taken the wrong room. We didn't double check the room number on key and all the rooms were unlocked. Our fault!

The room was clean, had a fridge, toaster and real coffee! The bathroom was spacious and clean. Recommended for a night passing through. Takeaway shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Exceptionally clean and tidy well-maintained accomodation. Lovely, friendly staff, good parking and a nice outdoor area to sit and relax surrounded by gardens. Highly recommend, couldn’t have asked for more😊

Practical for proximetry to the airport. Friendly reception, nice dog. Room small but well appointed. Linen very clean and good sized towels. They found me a charger for my phone, very helpful. Shower good.

Location boring with no view (“Bella Vista”). Room smelt damp, too hot and no aircon available.
