The rooms look out to a private garden and every downstairs room has a ranchslider out to the garden and a small deck area with comfortable furniture. There is also a common covered area with a barbecue and comfortable seats. My room had air-conditioning which really helped in muggy times. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked. The unit was well furnished and comfortable, and was well maintained and kept very clean. Although the motel shared an access road with the golf course, it was really quite quiet. Also the units were very well soundproofed - I heard nothing from neighbours except when I was outside.

There was no guest laundry available so I had to handwash clothes or go to a local laundromat, which was a pain during a 10-day stay. Staff apologised, saying there was a drainage issue which was still being addressed. I did also notice a bit of water dripping from the upstairs deck on the outside - maybe another drainage issue to address?

Very fortunate to have found you. We live in Golden Bay and always need a bolt hole to stay when we visit Nelson. Very close to amenities and Nelson in general. Quiet, despite my intrepidation that the airport was too close, however planes had the decencey to take off after I had woken up. The surroundinding gardens a real bonus.

I am a hard taskmaster, not picky but always look for value and service. I have been self employed for 48 years and appreciate the work behind any well run operation. I find Greens faultless. So no "didn't like" from me.

attractive planting, grounds in nice order. very quiet, easy parking. comfortable room. convenience to golf course cafe was a real plus . very easy parking . not surrounded by lots of other buildings.

cleaner did a once over job . we made the bed and washed all our dishes but the soap remained on the shower floor for three days ( we left it to see what would happen ). Bathroom rubbish bin only emptied when full. Basin got a quick wipe down , soap never removed to wipe underneath .

Lovely affordable clean spacious motel in Nelson, right next to the golf course and near the airport. Didn't notice the planes at night though which was perfect. Good shower, comfy bed & great TV. Short drive (not walk) to shops etc. Would definitely recommend 👌

The apartments were very clean and well looked after., the owners were really friendly and helpful and the location was great for exploring Nelson and nearby areas by car. It was also great value for money.

We would have been happy re-using towels so didn't feel they needed changing every day (but appreciated the thought and effort!)

Close to the airport which meant we could walk there and close to where we had to walk to to get the trek express shuttle the next morning. They kept a bag for us which we collected on our return which was great

The shower was fabulous but the water leaked all the way into the kitchen so was not well drained. So don't have ot turned on to full blast.

Welcoming. And even though we arrived late at night they made us aware of where the key was etc. Next day was made to feel welcome and we're very helpful on local cafes etc The husband loved the walking distance to play golf (he didn't know I booked this place so he could have a game)

Over powered shower causing the water to go into the kitchen flooding it. Knew next time how powerful it was but maybe warm people not to use it on full power?

Nice place, well kept, clean -- A+ to cleaning staff who serviced room each day! Very friendly and attentive staff.

Available lighting in room not good for reading after sun sets, ex, if you have to review something for travel or even want to read a book, etc. Also suggest a security lock on sliding door that would allow for room to have fresh air while sleeping.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The location suited us well, close to the airport, not far from the beach and the city and perfect for heading further afield to Motueka and Kaiteriteri. The beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities excellent, kitchenette and refrigerator met our needs. We did not know that milk was only provided on the first day, but the owner was kind enough to give us some more when we asked.

The non-stick frying pan in the room was very poor and should be replaced. The bedrooms were very hot even with the air conditioning on. Probably needs a ducting system, but overall Greens Motel is excellent value for money.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable and cleaned to an amazing standard. Loved being able to access the golf course easily. Beds were comfy and the kitchenette had everything we needed to make a meal.
