The room was exceptional! Very well presented, comfortable, clean and definitely gave off a relaxed atmosphere. On site parking which was fantastic. Staff were lovely and made us feel at home. I loved the information book which was very thorough and helpful as we touring the area. Nice short walk from the city.

I was overall pleased with our stay, the room and location of the motel. My only ‘dislike’ would be our motel entrance had glass sliding doors and at times we could hear people walking and talking as they went past which did at times feel awkward but nonetheless it was tolerable.

A block and a half from where the action starts it was perfectly situated for us. The owner and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. The apartment was clean and well appointed.

A problem with many NZ beach apartments seems to be a lack of a bathroom fan. I’m sure this isn’t a problem during the high season, but here in late June, one good hot shower left the bathroom dripping for the duration of our stay.

A very warm welcome by Penny one of the owners. Our garden suite room was spacious, comfy and very well equipped. We loved the small kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. Fresh milk was available from reception. A very informative folder was in our room giving recommendations of excursions, walks etc Admirals View Lodge is in a quiet location and a pleasant 10 minute walk along the beautiful sea front into Paihia. We loved our 2 night stay here and would happily stay again. Supetb

We absolutely loved our stay. They had everything we needed. Cheap laundry facilities and free bike and helmet usage. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, tidy and serviced every day for the four days we were there. We are already planning our next trip back. Thank you for your hospitality 😊

The host was lovely. The location was great , walking distance to town , restaurants and the ferry terminal . Also walking distance to beaches . We had access to laundry with free drying facilities.

We were happy with everything at this motel .

We had our own breakfast, but the location was not far from all facilities. for dinner etc. The management were excellent, they would do anything that you wanted and went out of their way to give you the extra mile.

The only thing that was missing was a chair or stool in the bathroom, so you could sit on while dressing or placing your clothes on it. Also, a rail in the shower for elderly people to hold onto.

Staff were very attentive and welcoming. We needed to check in earlier due some commitments and they helped us promptly. Comfy bedroom with beautiful sea view. Spa bath was a plus. Verandah was large and a great area to relax and have coffee or chat away. Easy to park. Close to the main restaurants. Super recommended!

We were meant to stay with friends whose flight couldn't land in Kerikeri due to bad weather. The staff were incredible about this and were very helpful.

We arrived on a really stormy night and most the parking was taken so that was a bit of a challenge but imagine it wouldn't be such an issue if the weather had been good.

Location was great, close to the centre of town but off the main street so away from the noise. Spacious unit with comfortable beds and awesome water pressure in the shower!

Fridge didn't get cold enough so some of our food went off or mouldy quickly and drinks just weren't chilled. Freezer didn't freeze water overnight

Walk to town. Very clean. Guest Laundry. Outside table and chairs

Parking was tight. Could hear people above us in the morning.
