We were there for 3 nights. Property was ideally placed. 20 min walk to Waitangi. 5 mins to the lanes and port for boats to Russell & day trips. 2 mins to the sea. Room was well equipped. Surprisingly quiet. Perfect for a short stay.

Nothing really. We were on ground floor looking out on the car park. Probably better upstairs. So no stunning views. But hey ho we were very pleased with it. If you pay by card there’s an additional % charge and I’d booked in sterling and got an additional % conversion charge. Not massive but the longer you stay then obviously the more that % uplift will be.

Everything from the easy booking and comms to the check-in. Girl was very welcoming. Moved from the Naki, thank you for your hospitality. Beds were amazing as was our room, Number 4, was originally the Family room number 3 but swapped it cos it had the dishwasher lol. So comfy we have booked for 2025. Yusss.

Our toaster crapped out at peak hour but we managed. Thats probs it.

No, I didn't request a quiet room - my request was for ground floor, and seafront location. Yes, both requests were fulfilled. This is our favourite room (No4) and was very clean as usual.

Nothing needs to be improved at all. We prefer Bayview Motel after having stayed in several other Paihia locations. Bayview is everything we look for, e.g. ground floor as Gail cannot manage stairs very comfortably and this motel is so close to town, just an easy walk. The view is amazing. The people are very welcoming.

We stayed 3 nights BUT on day 2 our whole studio smelled of sewage . By the time we left it was so bad we had to leave the bathroom door closed at all times. On the last day as we went to leave the office was closed and couldn't let the owner know. So I emailed them to give them a chance to reply or maybe compensate us as it was over $200 a night but haven't heard back so hence my bad review. What a shame 😔

Fast Friendly Communication. Ruth was kind friendly and helpful from outset. Immaculately Clean Rooms. Sufficient & Practical Furniture/Furnishings. Well Equipped Kitchen. Further Updating/Renovations to be carried out in near future , including aircon units. Fantastic Views and Perfect Location..(Flat)Walk to Ferry Terminal, Cafes, Supermarket and Shops. 10-15min walk to Waitangi. Noise(vehicles and people) is to be expected, considering you are road and waterfront on Paihia's main thoroughfare. Great First experience staying at a Motel in Paihia. Usual stay is at one of the chain hotels or apartment accommodation. Highly Recommend Bayview Motel.

I really liked the location, which was lose to the township as well as being close to the venue for our event. I was able to book more rooms for next years event in advance, Very friendly management and staff, and the cleanliness was second to none.

Not much to not like, I would recommend highly to other travellers. the only thing I would mention although not the fault of the owners is that there is no pool, however there is a enormous pool just across the road.

We specifically booked a sea view room and enjoyed being able to watch boats and cruise ships come and go in the Bay. We have stayed at the hotel next door previously but found that the Bayview Motel represented better value for money. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Would be nice to have a bit of a partition on the deck between the rooms to give guests a little privacy while they are enjoying the patio area.

Stayed in this motel the second time. Cant remember the experience on the first time as we arrived late and left early - but we remembered the location is excellent. The second time we stayed her we were really impressed as the hosts were very helpful. Our car broke down on the second day, she and her husband were very kind to provide information for us to call for help and even offered to give us a lift to Kerikeri so we can pick up a car from the car rental. We were lucky to get our car fixed on the next day so no need to hire a car but we are very grateful that we stayed in this motel and met such lovely hosts.

Was in a wonderful location. Staff were amazing. Apartment was neat and tidy. We were there for 8 nights and room was serviced daily with 2 linen changes throughout the duration.

Only issue was being in a 3 bedroom with a bar fridge. Really needed to be a full sized fridge.

The staff were amazing! We were there for our Christmas work do and we were fairly intoxicated upon arrival and coming back from the bars in town but had no complaints what so ever. Beds were comfy it was perfect for us. Will be back again if we stay in Paihia in the future
