The outside area was very private and pretty - we enjoyed sitting outside around the large table and couldn't really see any one else around. I was expecting a bigger area inside being a three bedroom unit but it was adequate for what we needed. It was useful having the second toilet outside. Plenty of parking and very conveniently located to beach, supermarket and town.

On the second night some of the campers next door were up very late - consequently when we took the dog out during the night she barked at their voices - one of things I guess. A comment I did hear amongst the guests was "there are no bedside lamps."

location is good close to town center. apartment is in a private and quiet.

reception lady, she was very very unfriendly. no warm welcome at all. i never ever seen a rude receptionist like her. the reason i give the lower score because of her bad attitude and unprofessional customer service! me and my parent were very upset as we paid big money to stay one night but were very unhappy with her. she has ruined my day be honest! she yelled us and racist!!!!! we have been treated in an unfair way.

The location was absolutely perfect. Two minutes walk away from a supermarket and only a couple more minutes to the beach. We couldn’t ask for a better location. I also loved that it was up in the bush and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortableand it was lovely to have a bath in the bathroom

There were only a couple of things that were a small disappointment. We weren’t told that the hot water was on gas so it took quite awhile for us to get hot water when we were doing the dishes. The hot water in the shower came on straightaway. the 4 slice toaster wasn’t working and the place looked like it just needed a little bit more TLC. Given the price we paid there were some small things that would’ve made a difference to how the property looked and felt. For instance having better quality toilet roll would be appreciated. But overall we really loved the facilities.

The proximity to Paihia itself was great and the apartments had a great view and were quiet and enjoyable. The gardens were well cared for and pleasant.

Having to pay an extra night for my room as Booking.com had made a mistake and had me leaving a day early than I had requested. Jan sorted the situation out and saved my bacon. There was a musty smell from the lower level of 2 of the apartments I booked.

The space was sufficient to accommodate 5 people comfortably as advertised. The bathroom space was large and tidy, albeit there was only one bathroom. The space was well decorated and maintained with appropriate ameneties.

There was only one parking space and we had to pay extra per night to secure an additional parking spot.

Lovely set up. Green outlook. Spacious bathroom. Comfortable with everything we needed.

At check in we arrived a little early and fully appreciated we may have to wait for our room, which we did. We did not mind this at all, however the staff member gave us a vibe that we were being impatient/in her way - it was as if she felt hassled by us and therefore forgot the basic niceties of a welcome!!! She was nice enough and gave us all the information we needed however tended to 'bark' the instructions/rules at us - rules put in place due to parties held/mess left by previous clients. We are intelligent people, can read policies/procedures, expect them and understand why they are there, we don't need to be barked at like naughty school kids!

Loved the outside area with gas bbq. The gardens are gorgeous. Beds were very comfortable. It had everything needed in the kitchen. Nice and spacious enough for 6 people. The extra toilet was a big bonus.

No extractor fan in the bathroom. Would have liked to have access to a mop. No place for clothes in the one bedroom.

Property was bigger than expected and tucked away up a hill among trees, so you’re surrounded by greenery and wildlife. It was close to Countdown supermarket, beach and only 20 mins walk / 5 mins drive from main town (Paihia).

Some amenities could do with upgrading, eg. toaster wasn’t working properly and shower didn’t drain very well when using it. However these are only small things that didn’t impact our stay!

nice, spacious property

there was a paper stating extra charges for leaving property dirty, which I totally understand, but the floors were dirty when we got there and I worried we would be charged (we weren’t). property manager was so nice. description said washer and dryer but there wasn’t one in the room. it wasn’t until we were leaving that we saw it was in a separate building but the office.

It was very pet friendly, so we were extremely happy that our dog could be accommodated with us. The facilities were nice and clean, had everything we needed from kitchen utensils, bathroom amenities and towels. We hired both apartments next to eachother, and the barricade was taken off so we could walk through on the deck, which meant our dog wasn’t restricted to one area. It was nice and private, surrounded by a lot of trees which was nice to take our dog on a walk around.

Nothing, everything was perfect for our family’s short stay 😁
