Beds were comfy and linen was lovely and fresh. The location was perfect for our event at the Kapiti Boating Club, and the room had everything we needed.

The closest power point to the mirror was under the desk and we had to move the mirror to make our straighteners etc reach. Would have been great to have power next to the mirror or even better, one in the bathroom. The bathroom while clean, had peeling paint and a stain on the shower curtain. In saying this, the unit (in its entirety) was still great value for money.

Balcony overlooking garden. Sunny and bright room. Big bathroom with bath as well as shower over bath.

Access between driveway and road a problem for a low slung car. My car has low profile tyres. Road to gutter very steep drop and steep rise up driveway. Because gutter sits so low between road and driveway each time my car scraped its bumper and undercarriage on the upslope both in and out as front wheels went into dip. Council needs to address this issue of access.

Very easy to book and the owner even stayed late to accept our arrival due to our flights being delayed. Lovely man and the room was warm,quiet and inviting

Wasn't happy with the old fashioned bath with shower over it and plastic shower curtain. Also electric blanket had a damaged wall plug actually in wall..with black burns very visible. Possibly caused when bed linen was being renewed and bed pushed back on it. Owner was very very apologetic.

The ground floor location, spacious outside balcony The very courteous helpful staff, the regular replenishment of towels coffee tea etc.

Leaking taps in bathroom and kitchen. Lack of towel rails or "bench space" in the bathroom Lack of cooking dishes for microwave. Lack of sharp knife.

This motel is clean, tidy, warm and comfortable. The service of staff was great. The room was a decent size. Comfortable bed. Good hot water and pressure in the shower.

Some of the decor was a bit dated and could do with a refresh. E.g. taps and basins etc. But they were all very clean and functional. So not really a concern. Maybe others have unfairly focussed on this when giving a lower rating.

location location location free parking was a bonus the staff were amazing so helpful bed was comfy and room was spacious had heaps of sky channels so could watch movies in bed at night and partner got to watch the premier league

we have a low car and the ramp to the park is very steep which does mean the car scraped badly on the ground when driving up and down- just be cautious if you have a low car

OK for an overnight stay. Decent sized room. Balcony, albeit that this was narrow and overlooked a busy road.

Starting to show its age, particularly the bathroom and the aged carpets. Could do with a revamp sometime soon. Road noise continued for most of the night - although not on the main highway, this is a fairly busy road.

Handy to the beach and transport. We loved the private balcony. The desk was ideal for study and reading. The vase with artificial flowers was a nice touch.

Because it was an apartment for a couple it didn’t have an oven. It would have been great if there were a couple of heating elements.

Close to the beach and the centre of Paraparaumu Comfortable and light spacious room. Bed comfortable. Facilities in the room ideal. Room clean. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Not much wrong with motel. Could hear neighbours at times but no different to many hotels

Very friendly & helpful staff...very relaxed environment. Quiet & walking distance to coast, shops & eateries. We enjoyed all of that so much that we planned to come back with our ebikes. Pleased to leave car in their safe carpark while visiting Kapiti Is. Highly recommend...Best to stay at least 2 nights...
