Very spacious, quiet, well appointed rooms. Great sized TV. The sofa was comfy and the decor was very nice. Free laundry. Very handy location to the shops and restaurants of Richmond.

We found the bed to be very hard. We were in a two bedroom apartment with one room locked, so there was no iron in our room. (But wasn't a problem as there was one in the nearby laundry) No out-look except to the carpark, and no outside seating except on a cold, shaded path out the back of the room.

The room was clean tidy and smelled great, also the room was serviced every day with clean towels, bathroom serviced and was very clean and was always nice to come back to in the evenings

The bed was a bit firm also the TV channels were very basic with no movie channel which is not a big issue only would have been nice to have an option, also it would have been nice to have a bug spray as we had mosquitoes in the room on the first night however we brought our own fly spray to eliminate the problem.

The kitchen and bathroom were super clean and shiny. Our room was serviced daily with our bed made each time which was much appreciated. Nice and cosy. The 24hr Shell across the road (2min walk) was super handy for late night snacks.

If we had a thick duvet on the bed I would have given a 10/10. It was pretty cold so had to have the electric blanket on every night. I should have asked but was too chicken too, lol.

We received a warm welcome from Lesley who told us she turned on our heating so the rooms were cosy and warm. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is handy - just a 10 minutes walk to the main shopping street. We were there for our wedding, and received a lovely gift of bubbles in our room after the big day. A big thank you to Gladstone Motel.

The location for me was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, bus and nice safe feeling neighbourhood to go for a stroll and visit local gardens. The room was very clean, well appointed, spacious and well stocked with complimentary tea, coffee etc which was restocked. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The compendium could do with updating.

We didn't have breakfast. Location was great. Bed was comfortable. Unit size was fine. We liked the thoughtfulness of recycling within the unit. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Shower was poor unfortunately. We had to turn the mixer to full on hot and it still was only just hot enough. Even washing the dishes was not hot enough.

I had a really pleasant one nigh stay at this motel for work. Good space to work and relax, very high standard of cleanliness, great plugs abut the place, bed was ultra comfy, and zero road noise

The only fault I could find if I was to have one would be the shower temp was a little underwhelming, as was the shower pressure, but incredibly minor details.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We didn't arrive until 0100am due to ferry delay but access was fine and the room light left on. Lesley and Mike go that extra mile and made our stay super relaxing and even take care of your laundry so you can spend more time out. Location was great and a few minutes walk from good shops and resturants. Would definately recommend to all.

Great location, very friendly and helpful owners. The room was modern and very clean, with good cooking facilities. It was great to have a dishwasher. We would definitely stay again

There was a reasonable amount of road noise (although it didn’t keep us awake). The wifi disconnected several times per day so you had to reenter the password and my phone used data unnecessarily. We had to wash dishes frequently because there were only two of each item of crockery and cutlery. There were no markings on the hob so you couldn’t tell what was high and what was low.

Was a great experience overall. The owners were away for a few days, but before leaving Leslie called and made contact a couple times before our stay, I felt a genuine rapport with them before we arrived. The relief managers were amazing, juggling to get a room for an extra person last minute. Cleaners were so polite and helpful, would leave our rooms til we had gone out. Is on a main material route, but would never know how quiet the rooms are. Great location was less than 1km from Richmond centre. Park across road, park next door, takeaways 100m away.

If I had to find something negative, it would be the exit/entry. The driveway is on the adjacent street, and has no access from main road
