The suite was very clean, provided everything we needed. Location is great, very close to Wanaka downtown proper. It was very nice to have laundry facilities with a free wash machine and only four dollars to try the clothes as well as a clothesline. Quiet area of town.

Our only comment is, it would be nice to have the bigger bed, but the rooms are small, and would not facilitate a queen bed. Nonetheless, it’s excellent value for the price.

Beautiful little chalet type rooms opposite the beautiful lake and mountains. We got to the accommodation a little late but there was a welcome note on the door of reception and our room key in a deposit box. We met our lovely host in the morning on our departure, super friendly with some good advice to get breakfast from Pemberton Patisserie, oh my goodness, best pastries ever!! Would definitely stay here again, the shower was the best I’ve had in NZ so far!!

Location and living space; toilet separate from bathroom. The room was well appointed with cooking/food preparation facilities. The check-in arrangements were well organised and our host, Pip was very helpful overall. Having a hair blow dryer was much appreciated by my partner.

No cutting board was available in the room to cut fruit/vegetables. Limited TV options and the lack of availability of Foxtel and Netflix was just a little inconvenient.

Great location as it is walking distance to central Wanaka and directly opposite a park/reserve and the lake. We also luckily had a street facing room which gave us a good view of this. The host/owner was very friendly and happy to share suggestions for things to do in Wanaka. It was also useful to have an equipped kitchen with tea/coffee sachets and we enjoyed having a couch/tv.

The accommodation was very neat and tidy and looked clean, however the rooms may have been a bit dusty as we noticed when we were in the rooms my partner's mild asthma was triggered (and she needed to use her inhaler).

it was easy and location perfect cute comfortable and wonderful place. will stay again.

we had no issues however it was strange how we saw no staff what so ever. I’m not sure if I missed the information about the car space - however having more information regarding parking availability would be helpful. we found a park easily and it was safe, however information regarding this on the booking (if it’s not) would be helpful. apologies if it was stated and I missed it

It was walking distance to the city centre, supermarket and the lake. The facilities were very clean and modern inside. Great WiFi. Huge washing machine for free use in the laundry room. The owner will happily recommend great places to eat and activities to do.

I didn't realise just how small it would be inside. If you're only there to sleep and eat that would work well. Only analog TV stations too. (Although you can log in to your own streaming services)

The bed was very comfortable. It is in a lovely spot to get a great view of the mountains. Motel is away from the hustle and bustle of Wanaka but close enough to be able to walk to cafes and restaurants.

The bed was a bit hard to manoeuvre around on one side as the bedroom had a corner cupboard.

only negative was it was a bit small for a two bed apartment and the couch was very small. as only two of us staying, it was ok, but I can’t imagine four people staying here comfortably

We were a party of two adults and three kids and stayed in the three-bedroom unit for nearly two weeks for a skiing vacation. The unit was clean and well presented. The cooking facilities were fine. We made good use of the drying room for ski gear and the laundry. Pip is a great manager and keen to provide tips for eating out and sightseeing. All in all, an excellent value motel.

My accommodation was perfect for my needs. The location of this motel is exceptional, right opposite the lake on the huge park, 3 minute walk to the shops & restaurants. Spectacular mountain views. My studio room was quiet, had everything I needed, and was sparkly clean. Very comfortable bed. My room had no lake view, but I knew that. Lovely host.
