This hotel was a gem. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was large, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The laundry room was clean and always available, the pool and hot tub were very nice, and the hotel bar, happy hour and menu were great. Even with everything being so nice I would have to say the staff made our visit. They were helpful, accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay had everything we needed. We stayed there for three weeks and are already looking forward to going back. The location is ideal. Short walk to town but in a quiet setting.

Very comfortable, especially as we were there on a rainy day, enjoyed the movies! Loved the back patio with the lovely garden. Kitchen was well stocked. Room was modern and stylish. Staff at reception were very friendly.

The room didn't show an option for twin beds, so we thought we had to use the sofa bed. We noticed the large bed was two singles so we just separated them ourselves and used the spare bedding. Power went out in the morning of the second day and the lights were flickering the day before. Staff member told me I had to insert the card - this seemed a bit obvious, of course I had the card inserted!

Fabulous one bedroom apartment in great complex, very well located. Very clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. What more can you ask. We were initially wary of previous posts about the staff pushing time share etc. We had none of that and the staff were very helpful and polite. In fairness I think that upon initial contact, they identified us as Brit tourists and worked out that they were onto a loser. Also, pool area very good if not in need of a little tlc in places.

Nothing really. Place exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend to anyone. We had 3 really good days there and would most definitely go back if we are ever in these parts again.

The property was clean staff very friendly. The room was large enough. It also had a bath tub which was a plus you had to drive into town if you didn’t want to walk a few kilometres but the position itself was okay. I did think it had a view, of the lake, but it doesn’t. Plus, you got a complimentary drink per person when you arrived, which was a nice gesture.

When I read that it had a restaurant I thought it was a proper restaurant, but there was any pizza for tonight we were there. Just be aware that you need to drive to the central of town from this position.

A wonderful location and amenities, comfortable beds, very clean and newly furnished room. Always great to have a bath and the service from staff was always friendly and helpful. Great to have the facilities such as pool, water slide, hot tub and gym as well as sauna to use. It all leads to one very relaxing holiday balanced with the adventure of being in Wānaka!

Nothing we didn't like! A lap pool would just top it off perfectly though if this is ever considered! But that is getting greedy!

Warm and welcoming! Beautiful modern facilities and a huge comfy bed. Good size fridge in the room, plus toaster, kettle & microwave. Walking distance to Lake Wanaka and town. Free guest laundry was a bonus. Buffet breaky in the restaurant was excellent value and delicious.

My only gripe was the hard sell push for us to go to one of their presentations. In the end we declined to go as our time was limited and we had plans.

We decided to stay in Wanaka at the tail end of our NZ trip. The hotel was very comfortable and quiet and the staff were terrific. The free laundry and reasonably priced bicycles was a real plus. The smaller heated pool was nice. They also stock the best hot cocoa sachets of any of the hotels that we stayed while in NZ.

Some may find the hotel to be a bit far from the Wanaka CBD but it's only about a 15 minute walk.

Very comfortable 2 night stay. Kitchenette is basic, but the room is so comfortable and warm that you wouldn't really mind. Staff service was impressive and the laundry machines were FOC. Probably our best stay in the south!

They don't do room cleaning every day, remember to ask for fresh towels if required. Also, the hotel isn't in the middle of Wanaka CBD, so you need to drive if you want to get around (it isn't walkable)

The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the toiletries being in pump bottles. We liked having the barbecue close and enjoyed the hot pool. Free laundry facilities were great! The free welcome drink was good too!

We were not told about the kit you could get when using the barbecue. Having to wash the cutlery and dishes in the bathroom sink was not ideal. A cooktop would have been great - we went out and bought one.

Great facilities, very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Away from the tourist crowds in town. Only a short drive to Lake and town.

WiFi was hit & miss. Pool needed to be heated warmer, was too cold for me to get in. Hot tub on the other hand was too hot. Hotter than you would comfortably sit in a bath at home. Couldn't stay in long. Also hot tub needs some protection from the sun, a sail shade or similar.
