Wow wow wow! This place is heaven on earth. The villa is immaculately beautiful with gorgeous rooms and lovely views. Situated a short boat ride away from Bocas town, it is the perfect place to relax! We spent 6 nights here and didn't want to leave. Benoit and Fabienne are such lovely hosts, Benoit took us out on his boat snorkelling and was so great in helping us maximise our stay! Fabienne's cooking was incredible - much better than any restaurant you would visit in all of Central American, let a lot Panamá! Every day was a culinary masterpiece from the moment you woke up until dinner in the evening! Easily best stay of our 5 month honeymoon for sure!!

Nothing it was perfect!

I had the end unit on the first floor and it was perfect. Floor to ceiling windows offer spectacular views and it's more private than the middle rooms. Fabulous common area overlooking the pool where breakfast and dinner are served and everyone has their own space but can still easily interact. The lobster dinner was excellent. There's no menu - they determine what is prepared, but any food allergies are recorded and remembered throughout your stay. Hosts and dog are a delight; super responsive and regularly interact with the guests.

Surprised that the final amount charged was more than that on the receipt, but the surprise booking fees were refunded after discussing.

Very beautiful, safe and calm location, design, arrangement, atmosphere, nature (you can observe parrots and hummingbirds while relaxing at the pool), outstanding food (even with good vegetarian options), amazing hosts (Benoit and Fabienne were so friendly, approachable and helpful - we felt as if we were staying with a host family), possibility of renting a kayak for free. We also liked the concept of a slower lifestyle in harmony with nature.

We can’t think of anything to improve, we had a wonderful time there and would have loved to stay longer. Just be aware that you can´t go anywhere else to have dinner. After trying the three course dinner and Fabienne´s magic, you wouldn´t want to eat anywhere else anyway. We loved the outstanding food (great value for money).

We loved our stay here. Unique location in the mangrove swamps, remote and very stylish. Delightful hosts, the food and Margheritas were fantastique! We arranged a brilliant day tour from here to see wildlife and snorkel and visit a stunning tropical island. Recommend booking from here rather than from main operators on Bocas.

Loved it all, this was 1 of 3 amazing places we stayed on the Bocas islands and we loved how they all offered a different perspective of island life.

Everything. It was an awesome experience: the friendliness of Benoit and Fabienne, the great food, the free kayak/paddle-board to go around the area, the help provided in helping us organize our days

Nothing but it is not close to many places so you need to account that in the evening you will probably have to stay there if you don’t want to pay a lot for a taxi boat One small comment was that I wanted to have a shower in the morning after breakfast and the cleaner was there. Very happy the room was clean and all but maybe the cleaning could wait a little bit in terms of timing.

A beautiful spot in the middle of the Mangrove. A place for relaxing, reading and cayaking. But - if you want to experience more of the islands the friendly host will help you with anything. Benoit and Fabienne are having this place and they do all the delicious cooking themselves. They are so nice and helpful and in five minutes you feel at home. They make you feel, that you’re a very special guest and they listen to your wishes and try to fullfill them. We highly recomend B&F.

Dear Fabienne, dear Benoît, our time with you was absolutely fantastic. Our expectations were exceeded in everything. Thank you for the fantastic food, the beautiful conversations and just everything else. It is something very special to be your guest. You take your time for every single one, always have excursion suggestions, but one can also simply enjoy the tranquility in the middle of the mangroves or go exploring with your free kayaks/SUPs and thus experience nature in a whole new way. We were so happy that we made our longest stop in Panama with 6days here. This place is something else, a little treasure lightyears away from the tourist crowds of Bocas town. Benoit and Fabienne have made this place to truly stand out and have it's onw, unique thing. From the cool pool area, to the chic restaurant with funky music, to the spotless modern and beautiful villas, everything is spot on. You can borrow kayaks and sup-boards for free and go exploring the mangroves. An then there is the food. We stayed 5 nights and loved the three-course dinners (25$/person). When you get a French lady to cook fillet mignon for you in a secluded place like this, it is truly an experience. Everything we ate was delicious, from breakfast to lunch (try chicken salad and the pastas!) to the candle lit dinners. Also nice cocktails! Out of 1-10...this location gets a 12!!!:) We've already seen a lot of places but we honestly had an outstanding great stay at Villa F&B! There you have a modern room and bathroom, everything super fresh and clean, kayaks and SUPs for use, a pool and relaxing/chillout areas. Wifi works well and the dog takes care of this little paradise. Don't hesitate to go there, it's just an approx. 15mins ride with a boat taxi. From there you can do a lot of tours to the other islands, to local people and places aso. The entire location has a great concept and architecture, included into the nature, yet open and with a beautiful view. Now the most important...the owners Fabienne and Benoit are simply some of the most lovely persons we've ever met! They just want you to be happy, with a fascinating friendliness and warmth. It really feels like a home place! Plus, the high level kitchen is amazing! From breakfast to dinner. Fabienne is a fantastic cook! fusion of Frensh cuisine and Panamaen products, local fruits of the own garden etc. The dinner comes with starters, main dish and dessert and absolutely worth it. And no worries, if you have allergies or anything else, Fabienne will make it. Nothing to complain, nothing to change. In a trip of more than 12 different venues this one was by far the best. There was something so special about the vibe - it felt like staying with friends and family but with all the respect and privacy you could ask for. Quiet and peaceful, super comfy pool area, perfect bed and really effective fan - ac wasn't needed. The standout of the stay was the hosts Benoit and Fabienne - he showed us the sights and her cooking was out of this world! We extended our stay and wished we had longer.
