Close to airport and away from busy traffic. Luxury King rooms are on the 2nd floor of the main building while Twin rooms are on 1st floor. Rooms in the main building are very spacious. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms. Mini bar in rooms provide various drinks. I didn’t explore the bunk bed rooms in the other building or the cabanas which look like igloos. Spa massage was great. Hotel arranged a tour of Dumaguete and Valencia for me to see all the sites. Hotel will also arrange transportation into town since the hotel is a bit off the main highway. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious.

No electrical outlets to plug in laptop or cell phones on the desk or nightstands but staff will provide extension cords upon request.

We liked the overall laid back ambiance, attentive staff, the privacy of our cabana and the easy access to it. The food was tasty and nicely served. Take out breakfasts were prepared for us upon request as well. It was quiet and peaceful for most of our stay - we could rest and relax.

There were no hooks to hang wet towels, swimming suits etc. in the bathroom or outside of the cabana. It got crowdy with guests from the outside in the restaurant on Friday evening - the resto is very close to the pool and bar area - it can be noisy if you want to lounge by the pool / bar in the evenings.

We had a late check In after taking three flights from the UK and a long journey. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were given a lovely welcome and shown to our beautiful room. We just had time for a quick meal in their restaurant which was very tasty. After a very comfortable sleep and lovely breakfast by the morning light we got to see how nice this hotel with fantastic gardens and facilities really is. The helpful reception staff organised transportation for us to Apo Island using their agent Mike. Mike was super efficient and very competitively priced. Our journey to Apo Island was very comfortable and went smoothly, we decided to use Mike's services for our return from Apo Island which also went smoothly.

I regretted very much that we did not have a few more days to stay at this fantastic hotel with such lovely staff and great facilities.

Our second, and not the last stay in this nice and enjoyable place with small sauna, gym and pool. You nred a scooter or car to travel comfortably between the hotel and city centre.

The music in the restaurant was often too loud, but the personnelle readily and kindly lowered it upon our request. Also, music with more class, such as classic, blues, local troubadoures or the like, would better match the class and good ambiance of the hotel than the everyday American popular music.

No. 1... From the moment I arrived until I left, the ENTIRE STAFF, is what really made my time spent there the best. Courteous, respectful, very pleasant to be around. Always wanting to make my stay the best. The food was very good. I had the two best massages i think I have ever had. T knows exactly where it hurts and fixes it. My long plane trip back to home will be much better because of it. All the Best to everyone at UNWND HOTEL DUMAGUETE.

Exceptional customer service! Kudos to the staff especially to the people on front desk.(all of them as in!!!). From the process of checking in to checking out, everything runs smoothly. They will easily accommodate all your inquiries. The ROOM, aside for being pretty it is also spacious and clean 😊. The free breakfast also taste good. Hopefully the road/pipe maintenance will finish soon. Highly recommended will definitely go back!😊

Our stay was wonderful, the whole team put so much effort into making sure we had everything we needed - letting us check in early, arranging cabs, and an amazing tour to Apo Island. It truly exceeded our expectations, our Cabana was lovely and the whole place is a beautiful serene retreat in a busy city. Would absolutely recommend, and hope to return or visit their sister hotels in the future.

Wonderful and beautiful place! The staff are truly what made our stay exceptional. They were on to our every need, and made sure we had an amazing stay.

The AC in our room could have been a little stronger. The staff tried their best to remedy this situation, but I believe it was just because the unit was old. Stayed cool enough to be comfortable at night though.

The staff was great. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Marla greeted us by our first names. The room was very nice. The food was great. The best quesadilla I have had in the Philippines. Edward was not only a fantastic bartender but was a wonderful waiter. He checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. We will surly return.

The entire place was cozy. Staff were courteous and really helpful. The Small House that we booked was huge for the 4 of us in our group and we had enough privacy. Amenities were great. Food is a bit pricey but they taste real good.

It was a bit away from the city center but we decided to kust stay in, so that wasn’t a problem.
