A relatively clean room, an eye-catching atmospheric design, a quality breakfast, an excellent heating and hotel location, comfortable amenities.

It should be mentioned that we stayed overnight and were given a room even earlier than the check-in time. Though our happiness faded away when we saw the room. It had been warn out and outdated with old wallpaper and obvious signs of mildew. The wardrobe had a broken door and a carpet seemed to be one hundred years old with the relevant consequences. I felt like being decieved considering that the hotel was almost empty and there were many much better rooms that were being cleaned at the moment.

Very friendly, helpful and English speaking hotel staff; nice, clean room looking out on the square in front. slept with the window open, without much noise from the city. PERFECTLY located for me, a stones throw away from the (glowny) railway station, across the street from the old city, there's a small supermarket around the corner, the interior of the hotel is great if you like the style (I do!) the bed was like a womb, the breakfast was jummy. I didn't use any of the spa facilities, maybe next time, because I will me back in Krakow in May, and will definitely return here.

no dissapointments.

We absolutely loved The Europejski. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful, approachable. The building retains a great many original features, and its quaint decor really adds to the atmosphere. It is very clean and very well maintained. Our mattress and pillows were A1, as comfortable as you can get in a hotel, certainly to our taste. Shower was very hot and very powerful, something often overlooked, and not the case in many older properties. Not so here. The rooms are kept very warm, excellent heating, but large windows, and double layered curtains make ventilation easy, whilst preventing draughts. Tea tray was refreshed daily, and included a bowl of refreshing sweets, along with bottles of still and fizzy water, which was great. A small fridge was provided, meaning I could chill the water for overnight. Breakfast was epic, the amount of choices on offer were fantastic. I did not recognise everything that was there, being English (!) but we had a go at the various meats and cheeses, pates, terrines, along with everything else you could want. Breakfast is from 7 until 10 so there is plenty of opportunity to be fed and watered for the day ahead. Our room was very large, included a separate sitting room, and was easily accessible by stairs, or by lift which worked throughout our stay. Access to the market square, old town, and the main railway station was perfect, literally a 3 minute walk to platform 3 and the train to the airport. It is only a few minutes walk in any direction to the sites of the old town, and a bit further on to Wawel Castle (amazing) the Jewish Quarter, and to the university botanical gardens in the communism district. We did not need to use any public transport at all in our three day stay and We would have no hesitation in booking to stay there again.

This is not a complaint, the following did not bother us at all. The hotel is situated on a busy interchange, with tram stops and buses running continually. This can be noisy. We remedied this by airing our room earlier, then closing windows and curtains before bed. This is a city centre hotel with excellent access to the old town, main railway station etc, there will be some noise

We booked Hotel Europejski because the old world hotel charm appealed to us and free parking was available, since we planned on hiring a car for our stay in Krakow. It does have a great old world charm, from the reception area and front desk, to the restaurant area where we had breakfast each day (included in our rate) and in our room. The hotel staff were great, both front desk and restaurant. One particular gentleman on the front desk was particularly friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet. We were at the back of the hotel which meant we didn't get much of a view, but on the flip side, we weren't exposed to possible tram and traffic noise out the front. The location of the hotel is perfect, easy walking distance across the road with suitcases etc. to the main station.

The hotel is obviously a very established and historical hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but very, spacious, comfortable and clean.

Excellent location. Excellent staff. Very clean. Love the old style decor. Kettle with tea, coffee in room, plus water which is replenished daily. Fridge in room. Good breakfast.

Wallpaper peeling from walls in bedroom. Shower head was loose. Layout of breakfast buffet is very cramped. Difficult at busy times as everyone is queuing in very small area and stretching over uncovered food to reach cereal bowels. Could be better laid out. Also breakfast is now served in bar area which is quite dark - used to be served in nice bright spacious room behind bar with lots of room and more food selection. Bar / restaurant have been closed for 2 years now which is a shame. This time room had no safe or slippers which we always had on previous stays.

The cleanness of the room, and of the hotel in general. The hotel inside is in a good shape. There was a pleasant smell as soon as I entered. Moreover, I really appreciated the interior decorations, it really took you back in time in the 1880s-1890s. This hotel had personality which made our stay all the more pleasant. The location is excellent, very close to the old town, central railway station, Jewish quarters, and to pretty much everything important. The breakfast was also quite good, decent variety of food to choose from, typical polish. The staff was quite attentive at all times. We always found the room clean and tidy, as well as a small bottle of water for each guest, some tea, coffee, hot water boiler. That was a pleasant surprise. In the central areas of Krakow, very few hotels offer parking let a alone for free, thus it makes you wonder why should you stay at a 4-5 star hotel if you are not offered a place to park your car. The hotel also offers a place to relax within its courtyard.

I can't think of anything, to be honest. For a 3-star hotel it went beyond my expectations. It's really hard to find anything to complain about. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was not open except for breakfast. Perhaps the amount of food choices for breakfast could be increased.

The front desk staff were very nice. I was able to check in earlier than expected which I really appreciated. You gay an actual room key, not a key card which has a nostalgic feel. The facility is old style with an updated bathroom. Housekeeping did a splendid job recognizing what coffee service and bottled water I preferred and restocked them as needed. I liked the hotel despite its age and condition.

The biggest issue I had was understanding how the bed linens worked. I made my own sleeping nest and was quite comfortable.

The hospitality is excellent, all the staff members are kind, very helpful and welcoming, the hotel and the rooms are very beautiful and clean, and the design is in a special antique style. There are nice corners for sitting in the hotel garden. The location is excellent and the hotel has excellent parking. The breakfast is excellent and varied. The room is very well equipped including a kettle, coffee and tea, a small fridge, bottles of soda and everything you need in the shower. We had a great time and recommend staying at the hotel. Thanks to all the staff for perfect hospitality.

The beds are uncomfortable and noisy. For those who are disturbed by the noise of the road and trains, there are rooms facing the other side and they are quieter

We had a room with a balcony with a nice view across to the square outside the main shopping centre. The location was great, close to bus and railway stations and bus / tram stops outside the main entrance. The old town was very close through an underpass just on the corner. The hotel felt very old, but everything was clean, tidy and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always available to answer queries. We had a superb buffet breakfast in the very elaborate dining room.

can't think of anything!

It is a very old fashioned hotel - which you have to like obviously. Although very old fashioned, it is very comfortable to stay for a couple of days. The location is very good if your traveling to/from the airport. Also, it is right outside the old town ring, so a very good location for sightseeing.

I missed a variety of shampoos or shower gels, there was only one standard big bottle attached in the shower. The towels were very soft however, so that was great.
