Hotel Downtown Kraków

The checkin was very smooth, the staff were nice and friendly, they let me check in earlier. Location is good, you can easily access all major attractions by foot or by tram. A grocery store is just 2-minute walk away from the hotel. Although the room is not very spacious, you have pretty much everything you need in the hotel room, except tooth bush and tooth paste. Moreover, the price for this hotel is budget-friendly. The breakfast can be considered as the highlight of this hotel, although there were not many options, everything tasted really good. Overall I would like to recommend this hotel to the travelers in Kraków.

The train station is just beside the hotel, there were noises when trains passed by, also, the wall of the room was thin, I could easily hear the noises from neighboring rooms, so if you are very sensitive to noises, you better think twice before booking. The hotel may look just beside the Kraków main station on the Google map, however, you should know that actually a wall separates them, that is to say, if you want to go to the train station you need to take a long way round to get there, but it won’t take too much time.

An old apartment building thoroughly modernised. I liked that there was unlimited free mineral water on the landings, and that the stairs and landings were fully lit all night, with front desk staffed all night too. For a solo lady traveller that made me feel very safe. It was absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere. Breakfast buffet plentiful and varied, great value for money. I have to specially praise the front desk staff, who could not have been more helpful. You can leave luggage there after checking out at no charge. The lift broke while I was there - not great when you’re on the 3rd floor with heavy luggage - and it was repaired within 12 hours. My twin room was great, with a view over the lovely street and it was possible to open windows. The decor was nice, simple and modern, and everything was easy to operate and find. It was also properly warm, which in January is a consideration. The fridge was switched on, so I could put some things in it. Very comfortable overall. The building is designed so that no rooms are very far from the lift/stairwell and the stairs are wide, well-lit and spotless. Location was super - very close to main railway and bus station, tram services, Krakow main shopping mall, with Old Town restaurants, museums, shops, culture and sights just a short stroll away. Nice city vibe with railway lines (not too noisy) at the end of the road. Small grocery on the corner and also round the corner for inexpensive lunches and snacks/drinks. For someone busy in Kraków looking for a centrally located value for money hotel where they can come and go at any time of the day or night and be safe and have a base, but with the support of 24-hour staff and breakfasts rather than being alone in a hired apartment, I think it’s an excellent choice and I would certainly stay there again.

My pet peeve with Polish accommodations is the rubber sheet some places insert underneath the top sheet! It’s unpleasant to sleep on, makes you hot and crackles when you turn over in bed. I wish they wouldn’t do it. Luckily I had a twin room, and one of the beds had a rubber sheet that didn’t crackle, so I slept there. But please Poland, why the rubber sheets?

Breakfast was basic but nice. Plenty of stuff to chose from. Room was small but comfortable. Good shower. Location was perfect. Everything you would want to see in Krakow in walking distance from the hotel.

Breakfast was sometimes cold when we got down and the coffee from the machine was terrible. The room got extremally hot during the night and you can't really keep the window open because a train passes by every few minutes.

Good location close to the old town and the railway station! The room is nice, though a bit small (especially the bed) for two persons. The breakfast is good, and there is a free spring water dispencer in the hallway.

The hotel is located next to the railway tracks, so if your room is facing the railway, you can hear a lot of noise. But with earplugs it's no problem. Also the water pressure in the shower could be better. No power outlets next to bed.

Fabulous location! A 100 meter walk and you’re in to a beautiful park headed to the center of the city!! Very comfortable bed and quiet location. Excellent breakfast included…We REALLY enjoyed our stay!

Just need to know (if you have a car) that the property does not have any parking spaces. There is public parking on the street…right next to the hotel…but it’s limited and you have to pay for it.  you do not have to pay for parking before 10 AM or after 8 PM.

had a top floor room with nice views, modern design, spacious, friendly staff, good breakfast, central location, quiet despite proximity to train tracks

some paper/door painting was already worn off, isolation between rooms not the best (granted there was a class of students staying in the hotel as well who were being extra loud), breakfast could have plant based milk options, room could have been ventilated by cleaning staff (it was really damp and worm because it’s on the top floor)

The location of hotel is excellent. Nice staff. Also, it's convenient to have water dispenser on each floor. There's wide range of food offered in the breakfast buffet, I really enjoyed it.

Just one time that the room card inserted for electricity supply is not sensitive and the power has once cut off for twenty seconds. Anyway, I think it's occasional.

The breakfast was brilliant, also the staff here are amazing, especially Alicja on reception, she was very helpful. Also the room was perfect and I had such a good nights sleep. The area is central and is a great base to see the city, but is also offers plenty of quiet in the surrounding streets at night, so you can be sure of a comfortable sleep if you stay here. I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Krakow.

10/10 !!! Top! Breakfast just amazed me! Location - 200 from the central railway station 500m away from the Barbakan and entire Old Town! Breakfast is just exellent and rich! Vatiety of hams, variety of cheeses!
