When I was first looking at the description and photos of these 'rooms', I was unsure if a 'one bedroom' was just a room. But it's a very spacious apartment, inc lounge, bathroom and kitchenette. We had two such apartments for our family. Both apartments included a small kitchen area. Fine for making a sandwich, cup of coffee, keeping wine cold etc.. And both apartments included a large lounge area, enjoyable for some late night watching of the few TV channels in English. We'd requested that the two apartments be close to each other. These happened to face the front of the hotel, rather than the pool. The balconies didn't get the sun at all, so if you're after a sunny balcony, try get a pool side view. But we we were glad of the shade. The balcony sizes were substantial. FYI no sunloungers; just chairs and a table. The daily cleaning, inc. towels, sheets and mopping, was great! The pool is lovely. The deep end is 3m deep, allowing for some decent underwater swimming! We didn't experience any significiant 'sunbed wars': largely people only put towels on beds when they were genuinely using them. The Clube could do with just putting a couple more beds out to get the ratio right, I'd suggest, but we didn't really experience an issue in trying to get beds. We thought the breakfast range was good. Hot breakfast options were 'only' eggs and beans, plus bacon and sausage for meat eaters. But then there's also pastries, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses etc.. I found that I loved some of the bread and jam. The only negative to comment on is the rubbish bread toaster - soooo slow. As to location, we liked! A Spar is close, plus a later opening small shop. Nearby food includes Indian Palace (great); dessert place 'beneath' the hotel (okay); pizza restaurant (good). Food / craft festival nr the casino in July & August.

The slow toaster is my only complaint. Which is amazing!

Very spacious rooms which were clean and comfortable with great kitchen facilities. The breakfast was really good with plenty of options available. The pool is plenty big for the size of the hotel and most people were very good about not leaving towels on sunbeds when they were not there. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area and there are a few really nice restaurants and cafes nearby. It took us about 15mins to walk into Caiscais when we wanted to go further

There could be more sunbeds around the pool

clean and well kept hotel and facilities even though it was a bit worn down. The pool area was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and very helpful in all ways. Breakfast was ok - nothing special but the whole family left the table full and happy every day. The neighborhood was quiet.

It was a bit far from Cascais where there was a great variety of restaurants. it took around 25 minutes to walk there. It was not a problem for us, but it could be for others.

All staff were super helpful and very friendly. Hotel was extrmely clean and rooms thoroughly cleaned every day. The room and the balcony were a great siz. Although our room overlooked the street the view was very pleasing with lots of trees and some very attractive buildings. Restaurant staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Hotel xterior and pool area were very attractive and pool was great.

Omly criticism was that the room furniture had seen better dys and was in need of updating and a second socket in the kitchen would have been useful.

The staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, spacious and bright. I found the kitchen area basic and the safe in the room wasn't very easy to work out. Overall the hotel was excellent and I would be happy to return.

The kitchen area was basic. There was a kettle but other things such as an iron need to be requested. The safe was also difficult to work out but once done it worked satisfactorily. Estoril is very hilly, the hotel happens to be at the top of a hill so walking around was tiring.

Breakfast was well presented and staff attentive to delivery from kitchen with cooked items on request. The neighbourhood had some nice shops and bakery and cafes within walking distance from hotel. Pool was clean and enough room for all participants

The walk up the hill from the seafront can be difficult for someone with walking difficulties but while not appreciating at the time allowed a little extra exercise on holiday. Also I didn’t like the fact that there was a tourist tax to pay €2 per day for your stay. I’m not sure if this applies to rest of European destinations as well since Brexit.

Our two bedroom was much bigger than we expected with air on in each room. We also had a massive balcony which was accessible from both the master bedroom and the living area. Kitchen was fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, hob and dishwasher. Both rooms had spacious wardrobes. There were two bathrooms. Pool area was small enough and only about 20 sun loungers, however there usually was some free when we went down. There was space for a few more loungers. Breakfast was much better than we expected. Granola and yogurt with fruit, pastries, bread, cheese and you could order eggs and bacon and sausages freshly made. Cascais centre about a 30min walk by the sea which we did most evenings and had dinner there. Usually got a taxi home for about €5 for four people

There were no bins in our rooms only the bathrooms. Not the biggest inconvenience but would have been nice all the same. Wasn’t much nightlife in hotel. Would have been nice to have a clothes dryer that we could have put out on the balcony. We left our towels to dry on the rail of the balcony but were afraid they would fall down. Pool was a little cold because it doesn’t get much sun

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the town and only 6 minutes walk from the busy beach area – but secluded enough that you're guaranteed a good night sleep. The hotel is under renovation at the moment so the spa is closed, as is the pool bar, and the main hotel bar(sushi restaurant) is only open sporadically. This isn't a major inconvenience though! The pool area is lovely and well-maintained(the pool is very deep!). The breakfast is good and fresh and you can order fresh eggs, bacon, beans, oats as well as fruit, cheeses, pastry etc. We (me + partner) had a very large apartment which would have easily slept 6 people. It was quite dated but fine and clean. The bed was quite hard. The only thing we didn't have was a balcony which I would have loved. Some of the newer rooms have balcony access. The staff are brilliant and so helpful, and the hotel is definitely one of the best in all of Estoril and only a 20 minute walk away from Cascais. All-in-all, I would return again but I would like to do so when the spa re-opens and all of the facilities are open again.

Stayed here for a week in a duplex apartment. Had a wonderful time. Room had all of the facilities required (kitchen and utensils) TV, balcony and A/C. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast included was great with an option of a set hot menu. The team at breakfast were so welcoming every morning. Hotel is in a great location. Short walk (15-20mins max) to the beaches of Estoril and Cascais.

We stayed three nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. Great breakfast was included in the tairiff. We stayed in a studio apartment - sitting/dining rooms with a little kitchen and a small loo on the lower level (also a lovely verandah with comfy chairs and a table) Upstairs was a full bathroom and Greg bedroom with another verandah off the bedroom. All very comfortable - forgot to mention that there was a TV in the sitting room and another in the bedroom upstairs.

Everything was perfect
