Wonderful hotel; an excellent location with beautiful views over the sea and friendly and attentive staff. Such a charming place, a real taste of Portugal at the luxurious end of the scale. We had a small team of people, 4 rooms, and everyone raved about how lovely it was.

The only little comment I have is that on a previous visit for dinner (a few weeks before we booked our team in to stay at the hotel) there were some teething problems with the kitchen, but this was just after the hotel opened for the first time, so I'm sure they have sorted it out by now.

Staff was always friendly, the house has an interesting decoration in a classical/baroque style and the breakfast terrace has a great ocean view.

The attic room was ok but we considered it absurdly overpriced. The windows are ground-level, the sloped ceiling makes it feel smaller than it is, and the worst was that we could hear the people in a neighboring room (coughing, speaking and laughing). For a room at over 300€ at night, this is absolutely unacceptable.

The stay in this hotel was just simply amazing. I enjoyed every little bit of it. The building and room was more than beautiful and the garden and pool was just perfect. The breakfast and food was amazing. It felt like Marie Antoinette could just have walked by to eat some cake. And most of all I really enjoyed the excellent service from the staff. I really got treated like a princess. Cant wait to visit this hotel again with my family soon!

What a stay! Sometimes you don't want to tell your discoveries, to keep it for yourself. But this one needs to be shared. A magic luxery boutique hotel, on the border or Estoril and Cascais. You enter a world of history but with a contempory atmosphere. Staff is excellent and gives you a feeling of being home with kindness, friendly talks and classy suggestions for restaurants and visits. Also the restaurant in the hotel where breakfast, lunch and diner is served is Michelin worthy.

Wow, what an amazing experience! We'd go back just to stay here again. We stayed in the smallest room on the property and it was still fantastic! It even had a great view of the pool area and ocean. The bed/pillows were comfy. The staff here was so attentive and really just superb. The breakfast was top notch and a highlight of the stay. We also ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant and we're blown away with how fantastic the food was. Drinks from the bar were great as well. The outdoor seating options are plentiful and offer some gorgeous views of the area/ocean. Short walk to the beach area, and about 10-15 min walk to Cascais where there are a lot of restaurants and shops.

The most beautiful property, inside and out. Fantastic location/view. Pleasant, easy walk into Cascais. Staff were amazing from start to finish. Made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Really nice, friendly owner. Breakfast was delicious. Quality over quantity. Great coffee. Room sumptuous and well equipped - robe/slippers, tea/coffee/biscuits, water etc. Very comfy bed and the best shower, ever!! Lovely, tranquil pool area and no problem getting a sun lounger. This hotel exceeded expectations. We will be back!

We would have preferred our room to be a couple of degrees cooler (AC centrally controlled) But that’s just our preference, and wasn’t a real issue! Entrance to property could be more clearly marked?

This hotel is so quaint and luxurious at once. Service was impeccable on all fronts. Staff are welcoming and friendly and so helpful. The venue is situated walking distance to both Cascais and Estoril (10-15 minutes either direction). There is a convenient tunnel that takes you under the road over to the beach, and the ocean front walkway. This hotel is relaxing and you could also just spend all your time here! The pool is quiet and less busy than the beach if you prefer. There are numerous areas to sit and enjoy a cool drink inside, but the patios have a lot of shady spots to sit outside during hot days. The rooms are spacious with very large comfortable beds, and well equipped bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with AC, and the main house has great air floor with ocean breezes. Recommend doing their high tea at least once during your stay, and the breakfast is top tier. We will definitely be back!

There is a road running in front of the hotel but we didn't find it disruptive as it is just background noise at worst.

Electrical was temperamental with US chargers. Try to bring USB charger chords if you can.

It was the most unbelievable hotel that I have ever stayed in. The decor, the staff, the view, the amenities, the food, and the service are all outstanding. The love and genuine hospitality of all the staff was as good as you could hope for in a hotel. The property has only been open as a hotel for 1 yr but has been painstakingly put together by the family that owns it, and you will receive a 6 star offering that has to be seen to be believed. We will be back...

it was brilliant in every way. I can’t really fault it. we stayed in the ‘worst’ room, the attic room, which was wonderful. the staff were great, the room was great, the facilities were great (small small gym and not huge pool but who cares!) and our stay was brilliant in every way. not too pricey or crazy for drinks, etc. and the breakfast was great

not much. the walk to the beach is a little annoying - going around a main road - but hardly enough to ruin the wonderful hotel and it’s beautiful view of the ocean
