Modern design with good finishes. Pleasant fragrance throughout the hotel. Modern and calm environment. I liked the staff diligence in resolving the issues that I indicated as less pleasant.

I booked a room with a sea view and only after several attempts, we managed to get a room with a sea view. On the first 3 floors you need to be creative to see the sea. The view is obstructed. On these floors we also heard more noise from the main road right in front of the hotel.

Great location and excellent hotel.

The accounting system is diabolical. There seems to be little to no communication between the front desk who require you to pay in advance for all extras and the staff in the bars/restaurants who have little to no understanding of how much you've prepaid. It's very embarrassing and inefficient for all when they keep saying "we need you to pay more money" even when you have topped up the incidentals account. On check out, reconciling all of the charges and what had seemingly been taken and not taken off cards was horrendous.

The spa and pool did not work and they offered a disscount on massages as an apology. It as a solid (50%) discount but still pointless if you chose the hotel for the pool or the sauna after a night of drinking… Something smarter could have been done by management.

What can I say. The minute I walked into this hotel. It was something else. The staff welcome you from the minute you get out of your taxi. The food was amazing. They have two restaurants one on the roof top and one on the lower ground of the hotel. The food was really amazing. But one thing that makes it special is the people who serve you. It's so relaxed you feel so at ease with them. I didnt stay in the beach front side of the hotel. However I did have a balcony and there you can just chill out relax drink some wine. One other thing the location is so good that you have the beach just a 5 minute walk away. Great restaurants and bars. I also walked along the coast to Cascais and down to the Marina. It's something special. Please stay at this hotel because it will just make you feel at ease and relaxed and ready to have a great holiday. 💛 Love love loved it can't wait to go back. Thanks guys for making my stay an amazing one. 😊

Continuous piped (mostly rap) music in all public areas, including lounges and restaurant Location, it's at a very busy road intersection and traffic noise is an issue . It requires a walk along a busy main road to get to the sea front Chose this hotel for a one week seaside holiday but it is really like the many business hotels I've experienced, for example limited storage space in room, limited restaurant and bar food options (eg no children's menus)

The hotel is super great: modern and beautiful, comfortable room, good facilities, nice people. Breakfast was good, rooftop bar and rooftop pool with a nice view. Never had to wait for an elevator for more than 10 seconds - how is it even possible?:) But the things I liked the most was the shower in the room (it was so perfect!) and the indoor pool, steamroom and sauna. The sauna has glass wall so you can see the ocean being in there as well. All in all, when will be back to Portugal will choose Evolution hotel again. Highly recommended!

The location close to the beach and train station was excellent. It is a very stylish, modern hotel but a little more substance would have been welcome.

The restaurant in the hotel had a very limited evening menu and had very poor gluten free options (for Coeliacs). The staff were extremely keen and attentive but they whisked away the plates immediately we were finished eating so gave the impression we had to hurry out/not return to the buffet (@ breakfast). Unfortunately, there were very few other restaurants that were within walking distance so we had to get the train to Cascais for evening meals but that was very accessible.

Very modern hotel with great facilities.

There was a private event in the roof top pool area during one afternoon of our stay. We had not been notified that the pool would be closed to hotel guests from 2pm, and arrived to use the facilities only to be told they were closed. Staff told us a sign had been put up from 5pm the evening before near the pool but we had left this area the previous day earlier- we were disappointed that we had not been informed on checking in or a sign being put in reception area.

The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have had. There was great variety, high quality, and a reasonable price. The room had a good view of the sea and coastline, although the balcony was noisy as the hotel is by a busy junction on the main road. With the double glazing the room was quiet if the door was shut. The room was modern and there was a great shower. The gym on the sixth floor was very well equipped and with lovely views towards Cascais.

Some issues with having the room cleaned. We had to ask on two days for the staff to come in.
