Completely refurbished, everything was new! Beautifully landscaped, large infinity pool, wonderful location on the top of a small hill with views toward the sea and the Monchique mountains. Good location to go into the pretty town of Ferrugudo with excellent restaurants and the Praia Grande beach very close by. The staff were so friendly and professional, the rooms were spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and pillows, soft fluffy towels and very modern shower room. Relaxing beside the pool with palms swaying and delicious, buffet breakfast.

The staff was brilliant and charming from beginning to end. Free wifi and car park is also a very positive part. The rooms are very clean and so are all the common areas. Bed extremely comfortable.

Small variety at breakfast, room was smaller than in the pictures. Terraces are very large but no shade during the daytime. No amenities in the bathroom except for a shampoo/shower gel dispenser in the shower. Access to the rooms uncomfortable as everybody can see you unless you close the curtains and there are no windows in the rooms. Door stopper in the bathroom to stop it from slamming was in the middle of the floor so we kept stepping on it and hurting ourselves. Unless you’ve got a car, very difficult to access the beach/village.

Taking into account its rating, we decided to stay at the Hotel Rural Bricia du Mar to spend our holidays and we couldn't have chosen better. It was amazing! The hotel is brand new and, as you might expect, its facilities are really great! In the morning you can be doing one of their fitness classes and in the afternoon you can enjoy an amazing sunset by the pool! At lunch you can have one of their fantastic snacks at the pool bar. For dinner, be sure you try the restaurant and order the fresh fish. The salmon is delicious! Regarding the staff, nothing to say! They are always willing to help you and make sure you are having a good time. They are friendly and attentive. What more could we ask for? So, if you are looking for a nice place to stay, this one is really worth your money!

Nothing to point out!

Staff were wonderful, really friendly and made us feel special. The pool space is just right. New, smart, not too big or small. Excellent steps in which were great for our 20 month old. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and it was lovely to be able to sit outside. The whole set up of the hotel worked really well for us as a young family. Walk to the beach was fine, 10-15 mins one way and 20 mins the other. Great beaches. We really enjoyed the food at Club Mau. Excellent sushi.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Only a few suggestions. A neat drying rack on the terrace and maybe a mini market in the hotel as the nearest place to get any groceries is a bit of a walk.

We loved this hotel! We took a risk as it was newly opened but it paid off. Super sized rooms with a big shower and a wardrobe space. The pool area was wonderful as was the pool bar and we even made use of the gym (which is huge and with so many different pieces of equipment!) the buffet breakfast each morning was well stocked and the pool bar was reasonably priced. Lots of sun loungers available both sides of the pool and everywhere felt super clean and new. Whilst there we ate at a lot of fabulous restaurants and bars in Ferragudo, if you go you have to try O Velho Novo, Borda do Cais and Club Nao - they all did such amazing food with great vibes.

Whilst the location is only 1/2 km to Ferragudo, walking back up the hill can be taxing and we tried to only do it one or two times in a day. Just walking there and back took an hour. We’ve stayed at hotels before where they offer a taxi buggy to the beach or main area which could be good at this hotel. I would also liked to have had a few more amenities able to purchase or hire at the hotel E.g sun cream, parasols for the beach, snacks outside of pool bar hours.

The accommodation on an individual apartments basis is both beautifully appointed and amazingly clean. The central restaurant and other facilities including swimming pool look superb. Th welcome was sincere and complimentary fruit, water and wine were offered.

There was nothing to dislike.

The place is brand new and our stay was truly wonderful. Beautiful location, attentive and friendly staff. The rooms were fully equipped of a high standard, clean and neat. Delightful breakfast is a cherry on top. Superb place, totally recommended.

Everything was great, the staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. The location was great, not too crowded, beautiful nature spots a short drive away. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Definately would visit again in the future 😌

From start to finish this short stay was exceptional....and the staff were amazing! The hotel is brand new and everything is done very nicely. The rooms are delightful, private and comfortable. The food was excellent too.
