The property is well maintained and modern. Nicely situated in the village of Ferragudo and close to the beach. About a 10 minutes walk, which is considered a short distance. Plenary of parking if you have a rental car. The outdoor pool is right in the center of the property and easily accessible from the main lobby area. Quiet and serene atmosphere. The lobby generally had nice music playing by the bar, however the pool area was quiet. We had two rooms. The suit (room 204) was quite roomy and the kids room next door was nothing special. Breakfast menu was excellent and the kitchen staff amazing and attentive.

The rooms were nice but some things could be freshened up. Specifically, the closets and bathroom. We don’t particularly care for rugs by the beds and the shag rug in the kids room was run down. As mentioned above, some music in the pool area would be nice. Bottled water should have been included in the rooms at no additional cost.

Absolutely everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived. Caterina at reception provided tons of info and great restaurant recommendations. Though our sea view double was not large, everything you needed or wanted was provided. There was plenty of closet space, drawers, luggage rack and robes, slippers and even a beach bag. The room and entire hotel was spotless. The service at breakfast from Tatiana, Paola and Ana was so efficient professional and charming and the fruit, pastries and cooked entrees were delicious. We loved the sparkling salt water pool, the comfy loungers and food/drink services. The hotel feels incredibly secluded but it is a five minute walk to the beach or the Headlands Trail. And the town of Ferragudo was a five minute drive for wonderful dinners! A perfect 10.

Nice hotel very close to Praia do Caneiros beach (very beautiful beach) and the cozy village of Ferragudo. Portimao and Albufeira are very close. The beaches of Marinha and Benagil are also very close. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished. Very nice pool for an afternoon swim if you don't want to go to the beach. Excellent breakfast. The staff was very kind and professional (we especially appreciated Catarina and the two breakfast waiters)

It might be nice to review the interior design, to make it more consistent with the 4-5 stars of the hotel

Lovely quiet boutique hotel with in total about 24 rooms I think. I chose it because it is smaller and while not an adults hotel, it is not focussed on children. The staff are great, Ana who helps at breakfast is lovely! Location is 5 minutes walk from the beach of Caneiros which has sunbeds and an excellent beach restaurant where we ate twice...highly recommended. Our car was useful for touring around too. Ferragudo village with its restaurants, bars and sea front is a few minutes drive away.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable (the bed was great!) The breakfast was simple and good, the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We had an amazing massage at a very competitive price - the two masseuses went above and beyond! Overall the staff definitely made our stay feel more homely - so thank you to the receptionist, the breakfast staff, general f&b staff and the spa masseuses!

Our room was close to the road - it wasn't an issue because November is low season and there wasn't a lot of traffic, but I can imagine it being an issue during the summer.

Wonderfully peaceful boutique hotel, I think it's adults only but maybe this is only "unofficial," in any case, it was so peaceful that I fell completely asleep poolside, something which never happens. I loved this hotel, and the service, friendliness of the staff, the wonderful breakfasts and also the dinners that I had at the hotel were superb. The nearby restaurant on the beach is fabulous. It's a splurge, but worth it.

Everything truly exceeded our expectations, especially the staff, location and breakfast. The staff were always friendly and helpful and willing to help the entire stay more comfortable, efficient and convenient. The location of the hotel is a 7 minute walk to a beautiful beach. The rooms were extremely clean and the daily cleaning staff were friendly and kept everything very clean and tidy. Fresh pastries, fruit, omelettes, eggs etc were made to your liking...a great way to start each day. Joao at the front desk made us reservations pretty much every night and each night the restaurant was delicious. Ana took care of us every morning and it was great to speak with her each day as she was so personable. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and hopefully stay here again.

Lovely boutique hotel has the feeling of a private villa with staff! We loved everything about this place. Close to beach and easy taxi ride to local towns. everything about this place surpassed our expectations. we travel a lot and this place is one of the best places we've stayed for relaxation, care and attention, and value for money.

loved everything. if you're looking for busy hotel right in the mix of a resort, this isn't it. we travelled with family as did others although it's probably more suited to adult travellers (depends on the mix of other residents). there is a bar with excellent breakfast and lunch yet no evening meals. this suited us, but worth noting for others.

Small hotel feeling. We almost felt like we had the whole place for ourselves. Great breakfast, great location, great swimming pool. Very comfortable bed. Super friendly and helpful staff. The Caneiros beach is a stone's throw away and is very good. Very recommended.
