It's in great location with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Within walking distance of most places around the city and very close to the underground. A lovely hotel for a weekend break!

It is right on Pink Street, which has a number of bars that are open to the very early hours of the morning. It was somewhat noisy, but it didn't bother us too much.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Even provided a generous gift basket for my husband’s birthday.

We stayed at the top floor and knew there was no elevator. However, it was exhausting to go up and down several times a day or with luggage. The bathroom is kind of open and toilet and shower are just separated with clear glass. For a family of four it’s not possible to use both at the same time without disturbing each other’s privacy. However, it was manageable for three nights.

Everything! Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The two gentlemen who worked in the evening were being helpful and even helped take out bags to our room since my daughter had a hurt ankle. The room was extremely clean and comfortable at a great price! This hotel made me want to stay in Lisbon even longer. They had great cappuccino in the room as well! Even though it was very noisy on pink street, we never heard anything! Not a sound! Front desk gentleman even gave me clear directions in English on how to use the metro! They actually took the time to look up the directions in English first to make sure communication was correct! They went out of there way above and beyond to help us! We even got great restaurant recommendations at very good prices! Wonderful people with great service! I will absolutely stay there again the next time we visit!

I’m on the heavy side so the stairs were a challenge but I easily could have requested a lower room, totally my mistake ☺️ again the hotel was great!

The location is perfect, easily reachable the centre within 10 minutes walk. We liked the room even though it was small but found it cosy, and the shower is really huge up to the ceiling. The breakfast was plentiful and lots of choices among sweet (bakery products, of course also Nata) and salty (eggs, cold cuts..) The staff is also very friendly.

Our room was not on the street site, which was good, so we couldn't hear much of the street noise at night, although you can still hear the bass of the music which can be disturbing if you aren't a good sleeper. It is not the hotel's fault but just take into consideration when you book it. :)

Very convenient location, close to the city centre and all the surrounding areas. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was very friendly. Despite the fact that the property is in a very loud area the windows were very soundproof when we’re closed.

The size of the room was good but the size of the toilet was tiny. For a plus size person it was uncomfortable, barely could fit. The building is very old and there is no lift so we had to climb on the 5th floor. Plus we could hear everything from the rooms close to our room.

Comfortable , good sized modern room with annex for clothing and luggage, with complimentary water and coffee machine. Great shower, air con and room cleaning every day. Location is great for seeing the sites without using public transport. They fixed an issue with our toilet immediately after we told them and the service is great overall.

The hotel is located on the quieter end of pink street but you can still hear the noise of the clubs/bars until early hours of the morning. It is only a slight vibration/ humming in the distance but if you are a light sleeper this could affect your stay.

The location of the hotel is really central, super close to a train/metro station and walking distance to several attractions. The breakfast was really good, with good variety. Hotel has quite nice decoration with old & new style mixed. Bed is also very good and staff is cool.

The only downside is the noise from the clubs that are neighbors with the hotel. You can hear the noise from the room and its annoying if you are sensitive to noise. I was on floor 2 and could hear the beats, it's not a full noise but annoyed me and I couldn't sleep so well. Also this was during weekend, maybe during weekdays is better. This is the only thing I would consider to not come back to this hotel, because the rest was perfect.

The hotel was clean, nicely designed and appointed, and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

A couple of things people should know: 1. Most importantly, there are 6 floors (in Portugal the ground floor is Floor 0, and this hotel goes to Floor 5) and no elevator. The steps are old and irregular. Being in the top couple of floors is strenuous. OK for some, but you should be aware of this. 2. There is no overnight street parking nearby. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy feeling so I'm not sure I'd want to leave my car there, but it wasn't an option. I parked in a parking garage recommended by the staff. I think it costs something like €15 for overnight but I'm not sure of the exact amount. (about the neighborhood, it is a party zone at night. Probably safe overall and the hotel felt very safe, but definitely a party zone.)

Location, right by Cais do Sodre station for easy access to public transit and walking distance to the lovely Alfama district. Nice decor, very cozy and the old building was very cool. The staff were also great.

As mentioned in other reviews, it is quite noisy very late into the night, even at the back of the hotel (ear plugs might have helped), and there is no privacy for the bathroom in the “family” room, which was a bit awkward with teenagers. It also smelled really bad. Really, really bad. I do expect that in an old building, but I have stayed in old buildings all over Europe and this was by far the worst sewer smell I have encountered!

Great location, right on pink street, close to the water, and a short walk to most places we needed to get to. The room was really cool, ok for a couple (for anyone else it’s really not suitable), aircon went down to 16 (woohoo!), nice powerful, warm shower and good amenities. Coffee and water free in the room. Bed was suitably comfy, and room big enough for a few days with no issues.

The stairs were pretty steep, people aren’t kidding. We were on the top 5th floor, which doesn’t sound much- but you really wouldn’t want to be navigating those after a few drinks! Also wasn’t keen on the reception being unmanned from 11pm, especially on a party street. We returned one night and the main door wouldn’t close. Just didn’t feel as safe as we’d have liked - but had no issues, so can’t say too much!
