wonderful location and very nice property with a great breakfast. the apartment we had was bright and spacious!

the staff in the restaurant were amazing and helpful. the front desk staff weren’t as helpful when we asked for dinner spots nearby or recommendations. we were told to Google what type of food we wanted twice. not what I expected from such a property. In our apartment, the kitchen sink didn’t drain at all so when we went to wash dishes it was very messy. In one shower, the shower head wouldn’t stay up, so you had to hold it or bend low. the dinning room chairs were soiled. These are little things, yes. But we noticed them and hence the 8 out of 10.

Great value for a 5-star hotel centrally located, with very friendly staff, and big, clean apartment rooms! I was afraid that there is no staff on-site, but to the contrary, there are friendly staff 24/7, very helpful too. There is a restaurant too, so dining is no problem. The room is good size, and there are a lot of facilities for family with kids. The location is very good, and public transportation including metro and ferry are both nearby. Despite the central location, I didn't hear noise at night. I was also able to store my luggage after checking out for free. The breakfast is decent, although I had it in my room so I am guessing you can get even more variety at the restaurant.

There is just a little hiccup during check-in: the internet was down, so they couldn't make room keys, nor did WiFi work. The reason was that the city work damaged an internet cable so the whole area was down. Fortunately it was resolved a couple of hours later.

Staff was super duper nice and the room was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. Not really a balcony or terrace, other than the tiny one most places have at the windows in Portugal (not enough to get work done from there for example), but the kitchen was spotless, and the housekeeping did a great job. We don't have kids, but there were many staying at the hotel and they seemed to be having a blast, so it surely seems like it would be a *great* place to take your family. Location was pretty good, though a little steep for me (I was on crutches, which is a tough way to be in Lisbon), but that's not their fault. Hills are kind of a thing in Lisbon. There are several really excellent cafes and restaurants right nearby (even on crutches.) If you want to visit By the Wine, which is very nearby and a little more upscale, you'll probably want to make a reservation, as it gets pretty packed in there.

I thought the wine in the downstairs restaurant was a little overpriced, to be honest. Other than that, the only other complaint I could possibly have was just that it was hard to plug in electronics to change *near* the bed. (I work in tech and am on-call a lot), but we made it work. In our specific room, there was a spot near the TV that had some available plugs. Again, neither of these were *bad* - just something to be aware of if you happen to be working from there as well as vacationing.

Amazing location in the heart of Lisbon, with so many great places to eat and drink nearby. Really friendly staff that make you feel welcome. The childcare facilities are excellent and hotel really does cater well for children Spotlessly clean

Some small things like the bathroom being a little cramped and tricky when bathing a small child. And information regarding our childs allergies not being passed from the reception / concierge to the kitchen for our breakfast which caused a bit of confusion on the first morning but was swiftly rectified

Fantastic spot for kids. Convenient to many restaurants, with good parking. Our children loved the kids club and begged to go back multiple times. Staff at breakfast was fantastic and the entire staff was very accommodating.

The staff was outstanding and everybody went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The room we stayed had a lot of natural light (3rd floor, room 303) and the kitchen was well equipped to make small meals. Location is great and very central in a good neighborhood.

Unfortunately the shower had a draining and mold issue. The staff offered to move us next day to another room, but we decided to stay in the same room for one more night because of the natural light which the other available rooms did not have. In general the chairs and carpets had stains and the bathroom lighting was really dark.

It is hard to find this spacious room in Lisbon. Room condition is excellent - fully equipped kitchen, tea, coffee capsules, even oil and balsamic. Friendly and helpful staff who can help with dinner recommendations and reservations. Great breakfast is served either in the room or in the cafe. Good powerfull hair dryer!

The main criteria for us was room with a balcony, in the reservation summary and in the pictures studio room had small French balcony. But we got room without it, we had only windows facing the main loudly street which can't be opened. So you don't get fresh air in the room, and can only ventilate the room with AC, but not everyone can sleep with AC turned on. This is the only bad thing about our stay. Everything else was perfect!

Excellent location (though note that it is slightly atop a hill, but not the worst one we encountered). This was THE most kid-friendly hotel ever, they thought of literally everything, not just a high chair in the kitchen but little pottys and step stools in the bathroom, not to mention the entire daycare on the first floor. The kids' club is free until 10 pm (!) for older kids, but also super reasonable "creche" or daycare rates for smaller bubs. I was unsure about leaving my guy with strangers in a foreign country but one look at how well thought-out the daycare was and how nice the staff was, no more fears. They had full play areas and even a huge canopy for a sleeping area with several cots, cribs, bassinets, everything. They definitely upgraded our actual apartment and it was HUGE, so much space to spread out and for little guy to run. It was fantastic.

So I will say that the plumbing wasn't the best - super loud pipes creaking and making weird steam noises, and beware that the washer dryer was hard to figure out and didn't dry our clothes (I read that in Portugal most people don't use dryers and they have a very small capacity so that's probably why- housekeeping came to the rescue though and dried our clothes just in time for check out).

This is an awesome hotel, very comfy, stylish and personable. My daughter and I stayed there recently and loved the large rooms, kitchen facilities, friendly staff, breakfasts and dinners were perfect to start and end the day, and the location is excellent. Will definatly stay again and would highly recommend this hidden gem in Lisbon. Perfect for families, or partners, caters for all travelers in a perfect location in the heart of Lisbon.

I really liked: the availability and kindness of all the staff, the location, the style , the adjacent bar (perfect for breakfast in the morning as for aperitifs and evening drinks).

I did not like at all the bad smell of the room (like moisture - mold - something never dried well) that remained even after leaving windows open all day and even after warning the staff. Even the windows that can only open in part I do not like much.
