Staff was very accomodating, as whenever I needed the iron or a hairdryer, someone was on the reception to provide ne those. Overall good value for money and very close to the center, 20 minutes easy walking. Would consider coming back for sure.

In the shared bathroom there were no any hooks on the door nor on the wall, so you have nowhere to place your stuff/towel/clothes when showering. Also, there is a sensor in the bathroom that controls the light and if you happen to shower for more than a couple of minutes, sensor would stop detecting movement as you are in the shower and not visible to the sensor - this caused for light to shut down every couple of minutes which was a bit annoying as you can just picture the scene of you naked, waving with your hands over the head, soaking wet and eventually needing to come out of the shower to successfully get the light back on. Besides this minor things, all was good and the room had everything we needed:)

The room was comfy and the temperature was pleasant. A small TV with cable was good enough to watch something before to sleep. The bed was comfy. They use a electronic system with a code to open the room, that is a good solution to avoid to lose the keys. The area es safe and close to main market (TimeOut), metro station, train station, bus stop to go to downtown, so connectivity was pretty good. They can keep the luggage in a room in case you need it without a charge. The place is clean in general. The personnel was helpful.

It was noisy at the night. Some bars are not so far and they finish the activities around midnight during week days so I used earplugs all days. When I was in the room with shared bathroom, it was just 1 bathroom in the entire floor and you don't have access to other floors with your code, so, that was uncomfortable. In addition, the window of the bathroom (2nd floor) was removed so, you could hear all the noise inside of the bathroom from the hallway and there wasn't privacy at all. There isn't fridge to keep food for your breakfast or dinner.

Honestly, I hadn't had great expectations of this accommodation, but I was pleasantly surprised. Solid communication, smooth check in, pleasant staff at the reception, cleaning staff was super thoughtful and didn't make any noise. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I greatly appreciated having a fridge, electric kettle and a French press there. Even though Santos is a busy neighborhood, this particular street was quiet and I had a nice view from my window.

The internet wasn't the best, the room had a bit of a humid smell, the walls were quite thin, but luckily other guests didn't make a lot of noise, so it was OK.

The location was good, there was not so much noise from outside, the windows are plastic and the sound insulation is good. The room had a nice view of the river. The hostel was quiet. The code on the entrance door of the building, hall and room is a big plus. This accommodation is a cheap option if you are planning a few days to visit Lisbon.

The room and the toilet are not so big, but it is quite enough for the money we paid. It would be good if there were more toilet paper, a hairdryer and a small fridge. But we managed without that.

The location is close to Cais do sodre which is a very good area for transport options to Belem, the night bus to the airport, trams and metro. Is even a 20 min walk to Rossio i.e. the trains to Sintra. We liked the ability to check in around 11pm after a night flight. Comfortable bed. easy access to room with a passcode so no need to carry a key. the bathroom was clean and had everything you would need and even if it was shared, we never saw anyone else around to use it. our room itself had a sink and a bidet. overall good value for money.

the walls btw the rooms and the floors seem to be paper thin and you can hear the neighbors talk, watch tv, or do other stuff that you dont really want to hear. the floor parquet is creaking so anyone passing from outside your room sounds like an elephant going for a stroll.

Overall our stay was very good, we have rented 4 rooms and everyone was pleased. The location was fabulous for us to attend Kizombada festival.

We must point out that the staff does not speak portuguese which is rather strange since the hostel is located in portugal and at least should speak portuguese. Other thins is that one of the wardwrobe did not open we have made a reclamations but it was not fixed until we have made the check out. We had to maintain our clothes in the suitcases.

Excellent location in the city and the neighborhood really lovely. I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom, and there was a big window with a street view. The room is very good for its price.

The sink in the bathroom, as well as the shower unit, were constantly clogged up. Especially in the shower unit, if you want to wash your hair, then water pops out of the unit and floods the bathroom. Also, from time to time, there was a bad sewage smell in the bathroom, but not so strong to reach the whole main room.

Good location, spacious renovated room (main room, sitting room w/sofa and table, big bathroom), clean, comfortable bed, kettle, mirrored wardrobe, fridge, nice shower, river view from the window (if not look down at the construction disarray at the base of the building).

Lumpy pillows, shabby bed linen, the hairdryer and toaster didn’t work, WiFi was weak, no electric outlets/chargers near the bed, construction noise during the day. Suggestion: Have exact cash amount for the tax at the check in.

I was looking for the last minute room in the middle of August in Lisbon, so didn’t expect much, especially after reading the negative comments. Actually, it really surpassed my expectations - we got a beautiful and clean room and a private bathroom which was also really neat. Loved the area, which is a bit further from old town part, but it’s more fresh and alternative, as it was not too crowded and had less touristic vibe.

It was a bit noisy. I am sure it wouldn’t be a problem in other seasons: we were staying in August, so slept with a window open.

Location is excellent. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and we had a wonderful view from the room. I would especially praise the person who keeps the bathroom clean because it was clean at all times of the day.

The only complaint is that we didn't have a kettle in the room, so I couldn't enjoy the first morning coffee and the beautiful view of the city by the water.
