Super cool room. Kids enjoyed so much the bunkle bed

Amazing hotel! We stayed for the new years and it was almost perfect! Staff are wonderful, bathroom is amazing, bunk beds are awesome, roof top bar was stunning for views of sea at any time (with easy and lazy way to get drinks or food, or just relax up there). Easy to uber in/out from, and close to center.

Wifi in our room was really bad, very common with bigger buildings, but it was very annoying. Usually we sat up in the roof area for good wifi.

Perfect hotel for a family - we were spending the nights with 3 children. All in the same room is perfect - no need to ask for communicating rooms (which we struggle to have usually in hotels). Rooms are really well organized. Mattrasses are very comfortable. Children loved the industrial style. Breakfast is excellent. Localisation is near everything by walking distance, tram station is nearby. Staff is very kind. Rooftop is amazing.

Loved what they did design-wise. Not sure whether they transformed a previous century office building into this beauty, but they sure made it look like they did. Execution is top notch! Great energy, lovely staff, nice breakfast and after a day of city exploring the rooftop bar and pool is fitting daily wrap! And the tiny restaurants in the area behind the hotel are also a big big recommendation (from breaky to dinner)!

We loved basically it all. However, some minor considerations; you’re not in the middle of town so getting to some of the usual highlights will be harder on foot. And when we stayed the rooftop through a party at Friday night which was quite noticeable throughout the building (we were on 3th). It stopped around 0:00 so it wasn’t a biggy and our kids are used to city buzz, but I heard some guest mourn about it. To us it fits a bit of the style and energy of this type of city hotel.

I liked the property. The pictures match the rooms, so there is no disappointment re expectations. Comfortable beds and bedding. I liked the decor, and found it easy enough to walk into the city

I changed my room type to a 5 person room, but because I didn't specifically ALSO change the booking type, I was charge another fee on arrival, and then the city tax. I understand re city tax... but I can not fathom why I had to pay MORE, when I already paid more for the room, and all the beds are all made up etc. There should be nothing extra. I then had a guest leave, and the hotel refuse to refund the additional money I had to pay. So, I felt out of pocket for the stay.

We love the Jam we stayed last year too - great location, reasonable prices and comfortable beds. We were in a family room with bunks - great for a couple of nights. Super helpful staff and not overpriced drinks or food (unlike at larger hotels).

The pool/bar during the daytime was way too overcrowded with younger kids - it didn’t bother us as we just didn’t use the pool, and went for drinks only in the evening (photo taken at 23:30!) but if we had intended to (like last year when it was less “discovered” and calmer) it would have really annoyed me. I’m not sure what the solution is because the hotel is perfect as a family hotel for sightseeing and lots of great places to eat and visit close.

Room was very comfy and funky but lovely beds were so comfy. Whole place has a cool spacious vibe and great air conditioning

Pool area was nice to cool off but a little crowded and it is a small enough pool but good for a cool down. Serves the purpose but I stayed in a hotel in Lisbon last year with a roof top pool and it was bigger and was almost always empty this one is a little over subscribed but the hotel offers family rooms so is probably the reason why. Also no shampoo conditioner or toothpaste had to run abd buy them all which end up very pricey in the pharmacy in Lisbon as no general supermarket anywhere near by.

The rooms are cool. Something different than most other hotels. We liked it a lot. It is quite good situated. A tram/bus stop is just 3 minutes away. There are restaurants and brunch cafes in walking distance We had a warm welcome and big rooms. The Rooftop bar and pool are amazing. The rooms are soundproof (busy street just in front and partying brits next door) and you can make them really dark. Wlan is very good. There are enough sockets for everything. And the rooms are clean. We loved it and had a great time there

One little exception. One of the bathrooms of our two rooms smelled very much like a public indoor pool, maybe that came from chlorine in the water.

We really enjoyed our stay, we loved the design of the hotel and the joined up message delivered throughout the building. The staff were very good, we felt very welcome from walking through the door to departure. the rooms were very comfortable and even though we were overlooking a main road, we couldn't hear the traffic and the rooftop bar was a great spot for a chill in the afternoon or a final drink at the end of a busy day. Only marked down, due to the location, if it had been right in the centre, it would have been a 10.

This hotel was perfect for my family of 5. The kids loved the bunk beds in the room. It was super clean, unique decor, and we loved the personal touches (welcome note addressed to my family in the room & chocolates). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the free luggage room to store our belongings after checkout. The rooftop cabana had a great view and my kids loved the ping pong table. We will definitely be back!
