The location is excellent - very close to the metro and the city center, but also quiet since it´s located just behind the long and always busy Av. Almirante Reis. Friendly and helpful staff. 2 elevators that work well. Great blackout curtains assure no sunlight enters room in the early morning. Clean linen and towels and comfortable mattress (very important). Spacious closet to put clothes and baggage, plus a safe if required. A very reasonable breakfast included. Overall, great value for the money.

Big disadvantage are all rooms being fully carpeted (can be an issue for those with allergies), electrical sockets poorly distributed (not a single electrical socket near the beds), altough bathtub is good, it may not be suitable for those with conditioned mobility, breakfast could be a bit better (no fresh cheese and not much variety (especially bread), Also breakfast room a bit tight. It was a pleasant experience (no complaints), but based on my extensive knowledge of Lisbon hotels, for 5 euros more there are considerably better alternatives out there (and very nearby).

The hotel is nice, it's located next to a crowded intersection. The room was clean, it's small but we didn't expect a big one taking into consideration how the buildings are in the area, no big space to extend. The street is crowded, but the windows are ok if you shut them the noise won't bother you. It doesn't have parking, but at arrival, you can park in front of the facility, they have two spots, until you check-in and carry your stuff in the room. There is an outside parking lot like 4 minutes away by foot from the hotel, it's not expensive, and you can be sure that your car is safe because even if you find a place in the street they are not free, and the traffic can be heavy, chances that you car will get scratched are relatively high. The breakfast was ok, but not varied, for starting the day is enough but don't expect something extraordinary. In the room sometimes the wifi was unreachable.

The diner is small, 6-8 people can fill up if they each stay on different tables. You can end up waiting for a table to free up.

Everything was really great. The room was very clean, and also cleaned every day. Very comfortable bed. Good night sleep, because the position of the hotel is just a few meter away from the main street. Near by there is a metro stop. Very friendly sfatt that gaves us many advices. Breakfast simple, but tasty.

Not a negative thing, only to point out that the hotel is not realy close to a city center. In a walking distance for sure, but not very close. We used a taxi or a metro for a few stops.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rich, with eggs, croissants, yoghurt, fruits, etc. The room was big, with a kettle and other amenities for tea/coffee. The bathroom had a bidet, shampoo and soap.The property has lifts, so we don't have to take heavy bags up the stairs. The location was very good, close to Arroios metro station. Incredible price for the service.

The position of the power outlets is very uncomfortable, since there's none available next to the bed and we had to charge all our devices in a crammed space next to the kettle.

The city hotel is in a central locating and the woman at the welcome desk was very friendly. My room was clean and good bed. View was to the back in a small area to another house. So I could sleep with open window. Shower was hot and toilet was clean. The hotel has a lift, that was good because I was in the 5th floor. Definitely a good choice when you want to visit Lisbon and want to stay in central area with shops and restaurants around. Bus station is only 100m away.

The breakfast need to be checked, better more quality and a bit higher price than that. The coffee was not that good and the bread was not crusty. All rest was good, maybe the service crew can act a little bit more calm when cleaning the floor in the early morning.

You get your money's worth. Breakfast was good. The cleaning was very good overall. It is a proper hotel.

The Hotel charged my credit card a day before my arrival, in spite of me choosing to pay at the facility. However, when I asked them to cancel the credit card payment so I could pay it in cash, they blamed it on Booking, saying the company was the one who charged me and not them. Unfortunately, this was an outright lie because both the receipt and my credit card invoice stated the Hotel as the enabler of the operation. Of course, no harm in paying with a credit card. But I'd have appreciated the truth, instead of the condescending stratagem of blaming a third-company to avoid speaking bluntly.

The location was pretty good, the breakfast was nice and the staff very kind and helpful. All the three receptionist we met during our two-day stay were very polite and attentive. The recommended us a restaurant nearby which was very authentic and the food was really great there. Also, I made some mistake with booking which was immediately fixed by them, which I’m so grateful for.

I wish there were more amenities in the bathroom but I guess it’s a European style not to spoil guests with extra hand soap, body lotion or other things.

Very friendly people, always with smiles on their faces. Breakfast is good, there is always something to choose from. Rooms are cleaned every day. Near the hotel, there is a metro station (the green line which may take you to tourist attractions). It is close to three supermarkets.

The window in my room was too small for my taste (I understand I got this room because I didn't pay the regular price). Also in the room, there was a balcony door leading to a fire staircase which was also accessible from the corridor, so I couldn't safely leave the door open. Some guests liked to spend some time right there.

Couldn’t find anything for these dates in lisbon and hotel do chile had a reasonable price! Room is so tiny for two people we can’t even open our suitcases at the same time, but we only slept there, so not bad Good not for long stay and this room looks like for only one person

Comfortable beds in smallish room, with lovely clean bathroom and excellent shower. Helpful staff - promptly providing sticking plasters, an emergency phone charger and ticket print-outs when asked.

Breakfast was plentiful, though the same every day. The savoury choices could have been more varied and the sausage and eggs were less than perfect.
