The Staff really made this hotel special. Especially Front Desk clerk Marlene. She arranged for a rental car for us that was brought to the Hotel by the rental car company and even phoned and made restaurant reservations for us. The location is very central to the Old Town and to the waterfront. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The only reason I didn't give a perfect score was the room was dark but this was probably because it was on the 1st floor. Was definitely good value for the price.

Really this hotel was as advertised. Basic, clean and the staff very helpful.. Really nothing negative to report.

Staff were very helpful. The hotel location is fine, as it is just a short walk away from the restaurants and bars in the centre of town. Our room was a good size. The choice of food and drink for breakfast is good for this size hotel. On the day of our departure, we had an early start in order to catch our flight, but were still able to have a quick breakfast with hot coffee at 6am. Brilliant!

The breakfast area was very congested during peak times, with no real flow between the different areas. Often it was difficult to get a clean plate, cup and saucer, and then equally difficult to return to the food and drink dispensing areas. Followed by a squeeze past other customers to reach our table.

Very good hotel in the center of Ponta Delgada. The hotel offers a private parking. The room was very clean and pleasant. The staff was also very nice and available.

Unfortunately I don’t eat pork and cow milk, and the breakfast didn’t offered alternatives such as turkey ham and vegetable milk. Even tho the breakfast was very good, those options were missed.

Room was great, comfortable bed even if a bit small. location of hotel perfect! breakfast offered a lot of options, was a great way to start the day. staff very helpful. Floor was quiet which helped with the sleep!

only negative is that it was a bit pricey, but i think that was paying for the great location, which was walking distance from the water front and town centre.

Friendly and helpful staff; cleanliness; excellent wifi; adequate breakfast; quietness and tranquility; good tv (both set and choice of channels); comfortable bed; good shower and wc; excellent location.

Lack of living room/ common space; breakfast in a tight room for so many people (yet I understand that renovation works are in progress and this may be circunstancial).

Breakfast was ok if you’re only stay a few nights but boring if you are for longer because it was always the same. For the price it wasn’t bad and the eating area was super clean. The wearing of disposable gloves whilst self serving was a good idea but not fully implemented by all guests. The small bar serving snacks and coffee was well received by us one night after a visit to the Poça de Donna Beija at night (a must) and returning late 10:45 to discover most restaurants closed at 21:30 out of season (March). We were fed with a delicious Tosta Mista and a drink which we really appreciated.

A wider variety of food would have been nice at the breakfast table. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work and although reported on our 1st day was still not fixed on our 8th.

Very minor. Well I got to my room and i thought the lights were not working turns out I had to put my key in slot to operate them lol. An easy fix but wish I was told before entering my room. This is all new to me

The breakfeast was good as usual. The location was great. The staff were great and very helpful. When we travel to Saint Michael always stay at this location.

They could improve the up keep. Could bring the dining room and the lounge area set up to the old locations.

Breakfast was good, location was super, close to the city center, like 3 minutes away from the gates to the city, haven't been to sao miguel in over 40 years, things have have changed. Loved it .

The weather of course but that can be expected due to where the islands are situated, n from what I was told it was the worst month of June. But still amazing, one side of the island was drizzling so we went to the other side where it was sunny and comfortable

The room had a connecting door,so wasn't very sound proof,but could also hete people in corridor late at night. Also could hete people above us walking.
