The buffet breakfast was very good and included with the room cost. You could also have a buffet dinner for a very reasonable price which included drinks. The two pools (one indoor, one outdoor) were nice and reasonably clean. Overall, the staff were very friendly.

The actual room was labelled “superior” but was not quite what we anticipated. The pictures on the hotel site were a bit misleading. We had a small balcony, so I guess that makes it superior. Otherwise it was just another hotel room. Oh well, we still enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a hotel for 3 nights, since we had tours booked everyday to discover island, did not spend so much time there. But the room was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. For breakfast it had hot and cold Swedish tables also fruits, some pastry, cereal and yoghurt for sweet tooth. We used inside pool facility, the only inconvenience, I could not find changing rooms (it might be there, but I just couldn't see it and never enquired). Also they have souna facilities which they would get it ready with 30mins notice, so quite energy sustainable hotel. Also, staff was very friendly to keep our luggage for a day after we checked out and went on a tour.

Hotel is centrally located with very spacious and clean rooms. Towels are plush and soft. Ro ea and slippers provided. Indoor and outdoor pools, saunas (which were very handy in the cold weather) and delicious food. Staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to stay there

Perfect localization with free parking spots. The hotel is in walk distance from the city center and Ponta Delgada’s attractions. Breakfast buffet contains different kind of food, included gluten free or lactose free products. Stuff is very helpful and friendly.

Air condition should work better or be modernized.

The facilities are very nice. The staff offered us in the last day lunchboxes to go because we missed the breakfast and also a pleasant surprise for my wife's birthday. They helped us renting a car and with transport to airport.

It was very noisy during the day and also during late in the night. Breakfast was mostly the same during our 10 day stay (not very diverse)...

We chose this hotel because of the included breakfast, the facilities, size of the room and the panoramic view of the ocean. Our expectations were fulfilled almost 100%. The room (and bathroom) was large, with big comfortable bed, fridge and terrace. The view is really amazing, especially on a sunny day. The room was cleaned every day, and we were very happy with the service. The sauna, jacuzzi and the inside pool were a nice option to relax after long walks. Also, parking is free, the location of the hotel is very good, close to the port, a big shopping mall and a walking distance from most of the town’s restaurants.

We were disappointed with the breakfast because it was repetitive, limited and sadly mediocre.

As SaoMiguel Park wasn't reopened after COVID, the accomodation was re-booked to Marina Atlantico (part of the same group - BenSaude Hotels). Marina Atlantico is a hotel that, in the early 90's would have been a state-of-the-art touristic facility... Now, it is a little bit outdated, worned-out and despite maintenance efforts, you can see the times passed-by on the furniture, bathroom equipments, etc. Wifi was good, free parking (1 night), sheets were clean and changed everyday, silence, good comfort, nice location - at least you see the ocean and Marina..

Room was small, too small for a 4* hotel, TV, also, small and poor choice of programs, no coffee-maker or at least some cups in the room, the freezer cannot be used for more than 2-3 cans of soda and breakfast was extremely poor and flat: 4 days in the row, exactly the same products, in the same place, like in a kind of Groundhog Day..

Our room was spacious and comfy. Staff was very responsive to requests and set up our extra bed immediately upon our arrival. Furnishings in the room were a bit tired, but perfectly serviceable. We were impressed to see a welcome gift - water bottles and little cakes. We also loved our balcony. The perfect place to sit and listen to the birds while watching the world go by. This hotel was in easy walking distance to restaurants and the main strip. Really good price, too!

I didn’t like the fact that the hotel doesn’t present the rooms on Booking in a proper way - you book a room with photos of a big terrace but in reality what you are getting is a small balcony. Same goes with some of the equipment listed in the offer. Otherwise would give 9 or 10/10.

The location, rooms and breakfast were great, and the staff members were lovely and helpful. Especially Joyce at the reception and her your younger male colleague were very understanding and helpful in resolving an issue I had due to safety concerns paused by my company.
