I normally don’t do surveys or ratings but in this instance There feel compelled to do so. My wife and I very much enjoyed the hotel and would gladly use it again. However, what really made this an unforgettable day experience was the restaurant manager. After a slight miss understanding and delay at the hotel restaurant, we decided to leave our table and go to another restaurant mostly because of my own lack of patience. We did not feel we needed to make a complaint about the situation and did not mention anything about it. The following day, I get a call from the restaurant manager who apologized for what happened and offered to buy us dinner. I was very surprised by the call as we never mentioned anything the prior evening and I still don’t know how he found out about it. I told him that we appreciated his call and that no compensation was either warranted or expected. He did however insist on having us for dinner and personally came and said hello that evening. I’m impressed beyond words how friendly and caring he and his staff was in wanting to address a situation that really didn’t need much attention at all. In this day and age to experience somebody caring so much about what they do is very rare and we will never forget, or stop mentioning it. Super hotel with big spacious rooms, with very comfortable beds. We were on the 6th floor so great views over the sea, and they put our teenage daughters next door which was perfect. Breakfast was fab (not quite enough vegan options for my husband/daughter but they could manage) and the hotel staff were really lovely. We loved the pool and sauna/jacuzzi. Short walk to the city centre and harbour area.

It would have been nice if they’d taken the roof off the outside part of the pool.

Modern, clean and large rooms. Great view, beds were comfortable. Did not use restaurant (only for breakfast) but first day staff was accommodating with bar bites before opening of restaurant. Good selection for breakfast. Great bar upstairs/rooftop and must say the bartender makes excellent drinks and he was super busy - could have used help for sure, but he more than managed - so kudos to him! We did not get to use the other facilities (pool/gym etc...) - disappointed did not have time, so will be back to the hotel for sure as they looked perfect for after a long day out exploring? And thank you for helping us retrieve some of our important belongings that we left in the safe - we called and they had waiting for us at front desk to collect :)

Location just a little further out to centre, but we had family pick us up, so never really explored walking distance to be fair. Is convenient to highway though, so if driving will probably not be an issue.

Amazing hotel, making our trip to açores an unforgettable great experience. Very clean, good facilities, the jacuzzi and indoor pool, warm and always smiling staff, amazing variety breakfast, will stay here again for sure!

The breakfast was exceptional. It couldn’t have been better. The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The ease to call a taxi. Just an extra note. It would be nice to be able to get coffee outside of your dinner hours.

The shower was not easy to use, or control. You had to lean in to turn it on and In doing so you got wet. The first time I used it, I was burnt. Not totally safe. I mentioned it at the counter downstairs and suggested you put up excellent directions for the use.

Hotel style is modern and cozy, staff is nice and helpful, rooms are great and clean, sauna available for free, Hints: book with breakfast, it's exceptional, use the restaurant in the hotel for dinner, food is fantastic for a reasonable price; also: although parking in the hotel's neighborhood is for free, use the hotel parking garage for 6 euro/day (no stress to find a free parking spot)

Lovely lovely hotel! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The cleaning crew came every day and was even so nice that they left our pajamas nicely folded on top of the bed after each cleaning. We were given a free wine glass when we checked in. The pool is nice to hang out for an hour or so. We couldn't experience the jacuzzi as it was busy when we went. The breakfast has plenty variety and we got to eat the traditional azorean Bolo Lêvedo every day, there. They have different kinds of bread, cereals, spreads, cheeses, fruit, yogurt... there was even bubbles for anyone who wanted to make mimosas. Definitely recommend and would stay again if I came back to Ponta Delgada!

Nothing here, really. The only thing was that the shower floor kept getting wet after the shower.

Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast. Large rooms - much larger than what I expected. Decent bathroom. Good location - central, but without being in direct city centre. Sadly, I did not use the gym/spa facilities, but they seemed more than adequate.

Regular signs of wear and tear in the room (leaky shower, older mini fridge), but nothing which would be an inconvenience during stay. It would have been nice to have had slippers in the room, as well as more/better quality toiletries, but overall - my stay was great and I feel this hotel offers great value for money.

Great amenities like restaurant, bar, pizza oven and underground parking. Room was a good size with large bathroom. It was 5 minute walk from amazing pastry shop and sol-mar grocery store. Staff were all very accommodating including the ladies at the front desk, who helped us to print boarding passes, with directions and printing other items. Newton was very helpful with our wine at the bar and giving us information.

Everything was great.

I was here in December and it was great. Room was clean, big, light, and well-furnished. The beds in the twin room were very comfortable. The restaurant was also big and the breakfast was tasty and full of local products. The staff was kind and professional. The SPA was clean and nice and during a low season almost empty (I cannot imagine this place when the hotel is even half booked).

I have just a few recommendation for the hotel: - there should be some small simple coffee machine in each room to peeper a coffee or tea; even a kettle would be an option; - the Turkish bath didn’t work properly during my entire stay; - all plastic, artificial plants should just disappear from the hotel. They look terrible, especially in the contrast to Azores natures beauty and greenery. Additionally, when the day is sunny, in the whole lobby the terrible smell of the plastic appears.
