Very quiet, even though on a busy road. Bus stops very close to the apartments. 50cents a bus trip.

It's not close to shops and restaurants, that's why the buses were needed.

The hotel was very good! A very comfortable room with a separate sofabed for our 4 year old son; I loved it that they contacted us in advance to ask if he was sleeping with us in the room or in "his own" bed. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they even provided a box of chocolates for my husbands birthday during our stay! they also helped us finding a new whale watching trip when our originally booked whale watching trip was cancelled. Breakfast was good; the only thing I can say that a little bit of variation in what they offer would be good but it was more than ok. Parking under the hotel is very convenient and it's a great added value not having to stress about having a place to park the car in the evening. The entrance is a bit narrow because there are always (wrongly) parked cars at the other side of the street but it's doable. The pool is very cold (I know that is maybe due to the time of the year but I expected it to be a bit warmer) but there is a spa that can be used as well and it's included in the price. (you have to book it in advance via the reception desk but if it's available you can use it) I would recommend this hotel for sure!

One small point: the electricity in the room is very noisy so we turned it off at night to be able to sleep.

The location, parking, clean, nice staff, efficient kitchenette, good breakfast. Filtered water that was offered was great. Harbor view was nice. Tbe room was quiet at night.

Really liked the property, but have a few comments….The garage entrance was challenging but doable with a small car. The conditioning worked well but was a tad musty. The shower door leaked so floor mat got soaked during showers. It would be nice if the filtered water was provided in the lobby to refill water bottles instead of having to ask the staff each time. The hot tub in the spa was a bit too cold. Hopefully new construction won’t block the view of the harbor as it was nice to see the ships come in.

This was an exceptional experience! The room was spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and very well isolated form the outside noises. Even there were construction work nearby we never heard any noise. The breakfast was very nice! We loved the option to have the typical pastry and the cheese with pepper sauce everyday apart of other options, fresh fruit, different types of pastries and breads, ham and cheese, all perfect! You also have the option to park in the hotel parking. It is easier to get into the parking with a smaller car, but even with a big car you are fine. It is an option that not all hotels offer. What made our stay so exceptional was the stuff at the hotel. The communication was clear, accurate and prompt. In particular, the receptionist/manager excelled in providing us suggestions and recommendation on places to visit and things to do, so we could fully enjoy our time. It was a first class service! I give the Pêro Teive Bay Apartments Hotel my highest recommendation and thank all the stuff to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable!

Nothing! All perfect! ….well, one thing! That we could not stay longer.

The hotel is really nice. Modern and clean and the rooms are spacious. Our room overlooked the street, so we had a bit of noise if our windows were open. Our friends' room was on the pool side, so they didn't have the noise. I'd recommend asking for a room overlooking the pool. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. A nice plus is the onsite parking.

This isn't a big thing - but I'm not a fan of showers that have a half wall of glass. Inevitably, water gets everywhere after a shower. There is a "spa" onsite, but it is very simple and not what I think of when I hear "spa". A hot tub (which wasn't working when we wanted to use it), a steam room and sauna. The steam room and sauna were not really enjoyable, as they never got sufficiently hot and the directions were hard to understand.

Absolutely nothing.

We liked everything, the staff is very friendly. Everything is super clean and new, the pool is cute and the spa very relaxing! Everything was super easy and smoothly arranged. Gluten free breakfast was no issue (i mentioned it when we booked). Can only recommend! There is a very nice small restaurant next door with good Portuguese food!

Our room was at the front of the hotel, and occasionally we heard some loud noises from cars or people around in the street. Sleeping with the window open was therefore not so pleasant. Everything else was just perfect!

Very friendly stuff, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even accomodated us with a bit earlier check in (which we didn’t plan, but got stuck outside due to weather). Good breakfast each morning. Very comfy rooms (apartments). Hotel is brand new, located within walking distance to downtown. Very nice ammenities. Will certainly be back.

Entrance to garage is a bit tight and uncomfortable to get in (not a complain, just a remark).

Staff was all helpful and friendly, breakfast was amazing and much-appreciated, location was an easy walk to town/activities, or a beautiful drive from other parts of the island. Apartment was well-laid out, clean, and comfortable.

Nothing they can do about it, but be aware that the garage is very cramped - be very careful parking, as it's easy to run into a post (we didn't, but we had people watching all sides to make sure). It was great to have on-site parking available, though, so overall a bigger plus than minus.

Hotel is great. It's fresh, clean, great wifi, big room with everything needed in the kitchen. Spa is included in the price, and it's great - you are along there (no other people), there is jakuzzi and bathhouse. There is a small swimming pool also in the hotel. Parking is also included, and believe me - it's very important, because streets are very narrow, so it would be very challenging to park the car without having private parking spot.

The only point - breakfast was the same each morning. No variety. But anyway you can select between eggs, some sausages, tosts, cereals and fruits. So, it's enough to have a good breakfast before busy day.
