Nice little boutique hotel. Very nice and attentive staff. Really appreciated my stay there! (Little bonus across the street is a small supermarket). Room was very clean. Breakfast consisted of a small (but more than enough) buffet with cheese, ham, pancakes and really fresh fruits (On request you can also get fried eggs etc.). Staff also helps with restaurant recommendations and sightseeing tours.

A beautiful and very architecturally special hotel, intimate, lovely staff, spacious and clean rooms and a small and magical backyard. Please note that these are two different hotels very close to each other but not the same hotel. Tipografia is newer and Includes a bar that opens in the evening and a biger backyard.

The room facing the street is not acoustically insulated enough. On the website you can choose a quieter room facing the courtyard, but in the application I did not see this option.

It was a pleasure to stay in a beautifully designed hotel. The staff made a great effort to make sure our stay was a good one. The rooms were well-appointed and good looking and the refined cotton linens were excellent. It definitely felt like a boutique hotel where guests are treated with great care.

They need unsweetened granola/oats for breakfast.

Lovely room, small garden. Helpful, friendly staff. The design is lovely - so many, such gorgeous touches. The history of the house and restoration is fascinating and inspiring.

Shower floods the bathroom. The light in the bathroom isn’t bright enough. Tissues in room or hot milk and coffee not refilled when empty.

there are a couple of details like the shower leaking water on the floor or the sockets that are not just very solid that need to be repaired.

The architectural design is fantastic, the room so comfortable and quiet. The breakfast! The location was good for us, gladly a bit away from the Ribeira District, but we were able to walk there in 15-20 minutes. Nice restaurants nearby even if they don't appear on travel lists.

We absolutely loved the outside space with a pool to relax by. We were lucky to have the breakfast to try and it was stunning. The rooms were big and the bathrooms luxurious. We had a balcony room and it was great to have that outdoor space. The staff were friendly, we were completely shown the hotel on arrival (that may be to liking or not!). The whole space was stunning at Tipograhia visually.

It wasn’t totally clear to us that there are two hotels and only one has a pool etc. It wasn’t too much of a problem but does knock a point off for us.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel was very chic and stylish as well as comfortable and in a great location (a few minutes walk to everything, but far enough from the business of Ribeira). Breakfast was generous and delicious. I loved swimming in the pool in the morning. Pretty flawless!!

The only thing for me is that the windows weren't soundproofed so you could hear any noise in the street or courtyard, but it wasn't particularly busy or noisy so it wasn't much of a problem.

Stunning Hotel, really well designed, small cosy and very attentive staff

Really can’t complain about anything - a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but that was fine. Pool is solar panel heated so can get quite cold- but refreshing!
