I liked the style and attention to detail at Alsace. Everything we needed was around us and looked good. It's super stylish but casual. The designers have considered every detail. I especially appreciated the different tiles in our bathroom and in the shower by the pool! They're not your standard boring white or grey flat tiles, they're different sizes and shades of blue in our room and a beautiful green by the pool. It makes you feel like it's designed by people who care about how you feel. It's a sign that the management care about their guests and staff. I appreciated them!

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this hotel. My sister had to wait twenty minutes to use the treadmill in the gym while someone else was on it but that was no big deal.

The hotel is very tastefully appointed and comfortable. It is welcoming. There is private and safe parking lot. The courtyard is lovely for morning coffee and afternoon tea or wine.

We arrived back to the hotel around 11:30 pm and rang the parking entry gate system for them to let us in. They did not watch the camera to let us in. We called twice and finally went inside the lobby to get them to let us in. It would be far more convenient to have the hotel door key open up the parking garage. The good part is that your car is safe.

Rooms are clean and fairly comfy, no complaints.

- No breakfast - The area is not good - a lot of hobos and no places to eat at all - No convenient public parking around, hotel parking is 30 USD a night...

Lovely room and design. The space was super clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The area around the hotel isn't very walkable and there isn't a lot around, so you have to take a car everywhere.

The was an outdoor pool within the hotel which was perfect the midday heat in LA. West Adams can be a questionable neighborhood but the hotel was situated in a good area and it felt safe. The hotel offered a neighborhood guide which was cute, and the staff recommended a few places nearby for breakfast/breakfast which offered some good options.

It felt somewhat dark in the room. There was a lack of space in the bathroom which was quite roomy. Some shelving would have been helpful.

All the staff members were so helpful and friendly without fail e.g. providing us with great recommendations of places to eat (incl. what to order) and visit in LA. The location was perfect for us as it was away from the manic central area but not too far for us to travel to. In addition, the surrounding area was quite safe and had a good selection of restaurants e.g. MizLa La close by.

The only I can think of was the hot water in the shower, the highest temp wasn't as hot for us but that may be because we've come from a cold country.

Is a new cozy hotel. beautiful room, comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is complimentary coffee and water. In West Adams, has easy access to all the main tourist attractions of LA, always by car. Safe neighborhood to come and go at any time.

Location. even though is a safe neighborhood is not a very attractive one, not nice to walk. There are no many shops close to the hotel so for a pharmacy or breakfast you will have to get in your car and go to another area. In that regard, the hotel does not have restaurant yet, and being in a neighborhood with not many options it forces you to move for a good meal or daily shopping. That is the main reason I don’t think is the right value for the money, no restaurant and location.

The staff was friendly and legitimately concerned with us having a good experience. The styling of the hotel was very nice, clean and slick. Both Cindy and Cristina, working in the front desk, were a pleasure to interact with and had a personal touch which I appreciated very much. If I had any issues, I would look for them and they would always respond in a positive way.

Check-in was a little messy, since we had a late arrival around 11pm and when we arrived we buzzed the door and we were left waiting on the sidewalk for 10 minutes. After buzzing a few times, the night concierge showed up and gave me a little attitude saying it couldn't have been more than 5 minutes that we had waited for. In the end, he checked us in and that was that. After that, everything was smooth sailing. Another think which wasn't great, is that initially we were checked into a room, which wasn't what I originally booked based on pictures. Luckily, they fixed that the next day and moved us to another room closer to the description.

The hotel is like a little oasis in the city. We really liked the design, the staff was super friendly, and it was very quiet. Everything was also very clean and newly furnished. There’s also a decent gym and some breakfast pastries and coffee in the morning. For California standards, the hotel is very good value for money!

I think it would be nice to expand the breakfast options just a little bit. During our stay, we only got donuts which is not really breakfast in my opinion.

Breakfast nice touch. Coffee very good, could have used real milk, soy milk, alternative milks. Courtyard unexpected, if aware of, could have made better use of. Clean parking lot, good restaurants in the area. Room very clean, complimentary water and coffee welcomed.

Room not arranged well for 2 people, 2 suitcases. Bathroom needed more horizontal surfaces, hooks for towels, clothing etc. Could have used a chair, stool too heavy. Shade pull on wrong side of window, hotel sign outside only faced one direction, difficult to see from highway direction. Waiting for reception to open garage door from outside awkward. Doors slamming in the hallways very loud. Breakfast food not healthy. Unexpected charge on credit card didn't match printed receipt, need to call and ask about.
