I liked the way the staff and front desk was very helpful and understanding and caring of our needs. The room was clean but definitely needed dusting and wiping on the counters and table tops . The location of this hotel was very busy and a lot of traffic in and out . It was close to Sunset Blvd , and a lot of areas , so , that was a plus . The Dodger Stadium is close by too , but , not in walking distance . But , if you take a Lyft , it is a good price range , from about $10 -$15 , to the Super 8 hotel location . It kind of depends though on what night , and during what event might be going on at that time too? We went to see Black Pink in concert on 8/26 /23 , and We walked from the Dodger Stadium to the Super 8 Hotel and then we got a Lyft to our hotel , back to the Lexmar ! We definitely are booking at the Super 8 next time , if we are going to the Dodger Stadium 🏟 again for any event !

We liked everything about the Lexmar! The area is a beautiful location. The food in the area is some of the best we have ever had in our lives! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and approachable. Did I mention that the are is absolutely amazing. We did not want to leave the Lexmar. Amazing people, beautiful, safe, and peaceful environment. The Lexmar will definitely be our go to from here on out, for every visit. We absolutely love the Lexmar!

Nothing! Everything was top of the line. There is absolutely nothing for us to complain about! We truly appreciate the staff for being so kind to us. They worked really hard to make our stay pleasant.

It felt safe, comfortable, spacious, had everything I needed for a short stay, only a few minutes walk from bus stops. Great shower temperature and pressure! Curtains keep light out well. Would stay again.

The fridge was unplugged when I arrived and didn’t realise this until the next day after trying to use it - it then froze my food and made noises that kept waking me up so I unplugged it again. This may need replacing or settings adjusted. Wifi only worked on laptop not mobile for me. I could not find a Tap/Metro card at any of the local 7-Eleven or other stores - for other travellers you need to go to the Metro station for this or pay cash on the bus. One morning I could heard a man (manager perhaps) speaking rudely to one of the housekeeping staff - please treat your staff with respect and have conversations in private.

Great price. So close to many attractions. Pleasant decor indoors and lobby. Nice architectural features done in the room with moldings. Front desk person was awesome. Camera surveillance of parking lot in front and in back.

the street is very busy in morning. Ear plugs would have helped us WITH SLEEPING IN A LITTLE LONGER. The area does not seem unsafe, but does have other businesses on block that look like they've seen better times. If you are familiar with LA and the nearby attractions you will be pleased to stay here at this affordable rate, just be aware and follow through with recommended security advisement and things will be fine. I do agree with other women who have posted they would not choose to stay here alone, although I saw plenty of foot traffic and activity in the neighborhood at night and in the morning, this is not an isolated spot.

Room was small enough that the A/C was very effective; cooled down the room within 10-15 mins, and large enough that you didn’t feel cramped. Cheap for a hotel that’s right off Sunset and is very near Echo Park/Dodger Stadium. Staff was accommodating and always able to answer the phone and was helpful. Room was clean and the ice machine worked. In hot LA I don’t know what else to want.

Neighborhood was a bit rough around the edges, but that’s not on the hotel.

the room was spacious and newly renovated. the staff were the sweetest and most helpful ever!

there was a lot of dust though and a really big bug in the bathroom sink. it’s located in a really sketchy and unsafe neighbourhood with many homeless junkies. the room was like a sauna i.e. HOT, but thankfully there was an aircon.

This is the third time I come back to this place. The experience was mostly good. The first room I got smelled weird. I went back to the reception and they immediately gave me a new room that was fresh. The standard of the rooms are great for both couples and for lonely travelers.

Unfortunately they have stopped the coffee-service and did not serve any coffee or breakfast due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I truly understand them. But they could easily have made up a system to let one guest at the time to go inside and pick up coffee and breakfast to reduce the risk of it getting crowded at the reception.

Everything seemed in good condition. We had a late check in and the guy at the front desk was able to help us right away and get us situated. He answered al of our questions and the when we got to the room it was clean.

There was quite a bit of noise coming in from the bottom floor from the bathroom area on the day of check out that woke us up. When we called to see if we can do a late checkout we were told we can only do a half hour late checkout. They should be able to extend that at least 1 hr.

I needed a last minute place to stay the night in the Los Feliz area. Got a good, not great, mobile deal. Place was clean, comfy and surprisingly quiet.

Room is small, but needed it to get some sleep. So, for the value - this is where it loses. Is small property, you have to park in the alley if you arrive late.
