Overall it is a great hotel. We spent a lovely time there. It is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff is helpful. Transfer to the Key West downtown is included. It takes 15 min to get there. It is very convenient. Kayaks rental is included, we enjoyed that. Background music selection is great!

The location is not perfect. It is not actually a Key West, it is Stock Island. You don't want to take walks in the evenings in the neighborhood. I booked a room with partial ocean view, but I don't realize that the other part is a factory ). The parking price. There is no beach (a common issue for Key West).

Nothing to complain about the property.

We arrived at about 1pm, knowing we were early for check in. Jason said, “let me see if there maybe a room available for you now”. After checking he said “ we do have one ready now, would you like it.” I said of course we would that’s great. He then said there would be a $45 charge for an early check in. I declined and he said he would text me around 3, when they would give the key. I think that is pretty petty when the room is ready yet made me sit around an hour and a half, by the time we completed the paperwork to get a key.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. Beautiful marina and 6 seaside pools. Also, free kayak tours as well as free daily use of kayaks and paddle boards.

Restaurant was nice but pricey. Did not realize, may have not noticed, there is a $50/day 'resort fee' to cover towels, pool, bikes, etc. Even if you don't use, you will pay. Shuttle bus to/from main area was great, but check with front desk EXACTLY where it drops off & pick up. Instructions gave a specific address (main entrance to restaurant), but the bus actually goes to the side entrance. We watched it drive away while we were standing where the instructions said to be. All things considered, we would definitely stay again, now that we know what to expect.

Great facilities, clean, multiple beautiful pools, extremely helpful shuttle bus drivers, room cleaned every day. Very good restaurant and bar, lots of food, coffee, and drink options. Staying here is a lot more relaxing and quiet than downtown Kety West but the resort itself is in a seedy place. However, there is a nice gate and you feel safe on location.

I requested an extra cot for the suite so we didn't have to share beds, but they didn't have one so we used an air mattress. The food at the restaurant is a little overpriced, but to be expected. Also there was an additional $87 fee to pay at check out which was not expected. Parking is also not free, but it should be.

The setting was very picturesque and quiet. There were hourly shuttles to and from the centre. There were a variety of activities to join in with.

It was quite far from the centre. The dining room and bar closed at 9pm which we thought was far too early. The food was carbohydrate heavy - we would have preferred more range on the menu, although they were willing to make our requested changes at breakfast. Some of the staff were very friendly but others didn’t seem very friendly. The Tiki Hut team were very enthusiastic and helpful.

There are a million things to do and see in Key West. We will be back! Spent many nights on Duval Street. Ate at some fine establishments including Latitudes. Had some fun on jet skis with top notch tour guide Chris leading the way. Took a boat ride with music. The resort was very nice. The room was spacious with everything close by. The pool areas were beautiful. The restaurant had good food.

I wish I didn't have to pay to park my rental car at the resort!

Andrew, Colette and team from the Ocean’s Activity group were so good. The mangrove kayak tour was wonderful and worth paying a little extra to experience. The activity director for this department must be great as they’ve assembled a great team! Housekeeping was wonderful even though I limited cleaning for sustainability, they checked in daily to see if I needed anything. Sophie and front desk staff were also always pleasant. The property had a ton of varying activities daily for all group types. The bartenders were also friendly and efficient even when busy.

The Ocean’s Cafe opens before the restaurant opening at 8:00 A.M. and even with three people in line the wait time for service averaged about 10–15 minutes. Additional staff in those early morning hours might be helpful. Also, the warming oven didn’t really seem to warm the bakery items well. Staff were friendly at the cafe, just didn’t efficiently move guests quickly. I’d also suggest having an adult only pool for those not traveling with children- even if for a few hours per day. I wasn’t able to use the pool often during my 6 day stay because they were overtaken by large groups with children.

We loved the location at the marina, also that it was quieter than being on the busy parts of Key West. It was so quick to get to all the locations and activities we wanted to see. The restaurant served fresh, delicious seafood. (Some reviews complain about the prices. The reality is that food is expensive in this whole area.) We loved having a balcony on which to relax and feel the breeze! Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We hope to return!

The staff was so kind, but on two of our four days here, we had to ask for housekeeping. We just wanted coffee and clean towels.

The pools were close and convenient.
