Lovely room, most staff were friendly and helpful. You get a free margaritta when you check in. It's a stones throw from the beach and plenty of parking spaces. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very large.

Unfortunately, we arrived 2 days before hurricane Ian and all the facilities were closed, so we had nothing to do and cant rate the pool etc as we didnt get the chance to use it. Yet we still paid full price plus resort fees despite being unable to use the facilities, which seemed unfair. When we left, staff tried to convince us to stay longer due to risks of driving along the keys but the room was small, all facilities closed so we would have been cooped up for days so we opted to drive to orlando where it was safer instead. This hotel is a bit far out of town so be prepared to drive or uber to go anywhere. No coffee in room.

Great location right in front of the beach. You can enjoy night sky full of stars there. The hotel is nice, renovated and clean. The room was cleaned every day. Really nice green garden inside the hotel - we took many good pictures. Wifi is great and fast.

Be prepared to pay extra for everything - any movie on the TV - 20$ each, other channels are mostly commercials. The building is wooden and noisy. Upstairs neighbors woke me up at 6:30AM a couple of times by walking around very loudly. There are no carpets in the rooms, so the walking sound is like boom-boom. Consider taking a room on the top floor. Restaurant has very short menu and breakfast isn’t good (too much oil), you’ll need to get to downtown to eat something decent or buy food in a grocery store.

The room was very comfortable. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water each day. The staff was very accommodating - everyone treated us like we mattered and did what they could to make sure we were satisfied. Scooter rental on site was a huge plus!

The daily resort fee of $54 seemed excessive when really the only thing we did was use the pool. I am sure it was worth it for others who took advantage of the shuttle. It would also be nice if people were not permitted to eat in the pool. Drinks are one thing, but watching one kid eat chicken, drop a piece and wipe his hands off in the water was off-putting.

We had a 2 bedroom King suite which was Floor 1. Room was clean, beautifully decorated and we had a mini kitchenette as well. Bathroom was big, shower was extra accommodating with great lighting. There really wasn't much room for clothes in the bedrooms but the oversized bathroom had plenty of shelves and drawers for belongings. Safe was much appreciated. The resort is pretty spread out. We ended up in the far end building so we had a walk to the pool but the grounds are beautiful and we didn't mind. Pool has lots of chairs and space. They have cold water available at poolside as well as bar service. Lots of games to play spread around and a whole list of activities every day. Fresh warm cookies every eve. We were greeted with a fresh margarita or guava juice. Shuttle down to the town was great. Puts you within a few blocks of the action and runs until 1130 pm. Getting an uber isn't hard either. Right across the street is the beach which is lovely. Beautiful views. It's rocky in places and a fair amount of seaweed kept us from going in, but plenty of people were in the water. The concierge was great! Lisa was able to give us tips, arrange parasailing, recommend dinner places and overall went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Sonja at the front desk was awesome! Loved the games all over to play! Overall, you really feel like you are part of family here and that everyone cares about you and makes your trip comfortable and nice. Oversized TV's in our room were a treat! Definitely stay again.

While overall things were great I guess the things I found less than great were the following: Lighting in the hotel room/living room wasn't very bright. No overhead lights etc. Our view was supposed to be a garden view- but we were positioned facing the tiki hut thatched roof so we had no view at all. I would think you would get a discount for that. While you are right across the street from the beach, the resort is pretty isolated and you can't walk anywhere nearby for drinks, food etc. The menu at the hotel is pretty limited. While there is a gift shop, it would be nice to have a grab and go type food place in the hotel for a sandwich and quick breakfast.

Location!! It is one of the few (if not the only one) beach front hotel in Key West. Try the beach front rooms. Beach has chairs, umbrellas, water sports rentals. Nice pool, with a bar and restaurant close by.

The beach front rooms have the elevator broken, either use the stairs, or walk around the corridors to reach the main elevator, opening to the lobby. Each floor have nice refreshment stations, but in order to get ice, you either get a full bag or grab the cubes with your hands on an open bag, instead of an ice maker/dispenser.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very well maintained and welcoming. We had an ocean view suite with balcony, which we loved! However, the hotel did not provide chairs, towels, or umbrellas for the beach. Instead we had to rent from an independent vendor. Given the price we paid for our stay, at $500 a night on average, you would expect to not have to pay $50 per day extra for beach items when one of the main things they mention as a “draw” is the beach being right in front of them.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Great if you don't want to be in the busier part of Key West. Beach was beautiful in front of hotel..but pictures are deceiving as it looked like the hotel was directly on the beach. It is across a very busy road which was the only thing I didn't like about this hotel. If you want to be in the more touristy areas of Key West..this hotel isn't for you. The downtown area is more where the action is. This hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the downtown area. Great though if you would rather be on the beach. The room was huge and the bathroom was bigger than any one I have ever seen at a hotel.

Didn't like that there was a busy road separating the hotel and the beach. Pictures look like the hotel is beachfront.

Accomodations are great. Room was exactly as appeared on website. Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. Pool and restaurant were great. Very enjoyable stay and smathers beach was steps out the front entrance.

Location is the problem. The shuttle service is wonderful. Great for getting down to old town but we couldn't make the return shuttle at 11:30 unless we left the amphitheater before the end of the concert. And cab drivers were not happy about taking us to hotel due to construction. Cab fare never less than 25$. Nothing is really in walking distance.

Didn’t use the pool, Room was beautiful and our house keeper was very sweet… Love the free H2O! Thank You!! Breakfast very good. Hot & Yummy…. Server seemed a little out of sorts … but she was okay…

Shuttle Drivers, Eve & LuAnn were extra unfriendly…we tipped LuAnn because she actually uttered a few words, Eve had her mind obviously on other things…no tip…I boarded & said HI! how are you today, & she actually looked away from me…ugh…we lived in Steamboat Springs, Colorado…we KNOW tourists, but if you want tips…put a smile on your sour face!!

Shuttle to downtown was convenient and the drivers were informative. Pool area was nice with shaded areas. Staff were pleasant .Our king suite was very nice. Mimi was very helpful finding us a new room. Ability to use the property after checkout was helpful with a late flight.

Did not realize music is played all the time. We left pool area to get away from it. Housekeeping was haphazard when it came to linens. Given a towel with red stain, dinghy washcloth, no face towels in one room. We had to change rooms because the elevator near our room made a screeching sound that woke my partner.
