The staff was great and made us have our stay very comfortable. I would especially like to thank Katarina, Mary Grace and Arjeneive for their kindness and high level service to make us feel at ease. We have enjoyed a lot from the pool and the playroom. We'll definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

It could be noisy during the nights, because the hotel is in the middle of Paceville, where the pubs and disco's are.

Beds were really comfortable and breakfast had a great selection.

My only let down was that it wasn’t clear when booking that the roof top infinity pool was an additional charge or only included with a certain room type.

Garden on the rooftop is something I have not seen before in Malta hotels. Believe it should be comfortable there even in summer. The pool is spacy enough even for several people inside. Sauna and hammam are good enough too. Even there is a barrel with cold water near sauna (big plus). Fruits to the room everyday - thank you! The hotel is located on a noisy street, but this noise does not reach the room.

Breakfast is the same everyday. However can't say anything bad about the quality. But it should vary at least sometimes. Poor soundproof. I was able to hear my neighbors from the same floor and from the upper floor as well.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. We loved every minute of our stay here. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for their guests. Pool areas both indoor and outdoor are gorgeous. The gym was huge and had everything you could need. Huge choice of food and drink in all restaurants and cafes at the hotel. We especially loved Lubelli’s. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby at Spinola Bay. Although the hotel is near the busy nightlife of Paceville you would never know once you are inside the doors of the hotel. Will 100% be back to this hotel in the future!

Would have preferred if the pool area was for residents only as at times it because busy with young people who were not hotel residents and could be noisy at times

I booked this place because I wanted to stay in Malta longer than I originally intended and the first hotel made my wife feel uncomfortable. The price was not bad for the accommodations and location, but overall I did not have many expectations for this stay. The room was clean and organized and all of the staff were nice and informative. They almost convinced us to stay longer for a few more trips around the island. They were able to book our airport taxi last minute so we could leave early in the morning too.

The pool was not open and the balcony view looked run down. They were in the middle of construction when we were staying, so it is understandable. I only wish we had known about the unavailable services prior to booking.

The hotel is in a good location, really clean and the facilities are great! The breakfast was sensational and I would recommend the eggs Benedict. The beach bar food was so good and the cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever had. couldn’t fault the hotel if you tried. All the staff are really happy and engaging especially with our 14 month old son. A couple of days before we arrived we were contacted by Kristina asking us if we had any requests for our stay which we was impressed by. She then welcomed us at the hotel and walked us to our room explaining everything we needed to know about the hotel and what they offered, she also checked in on us and our son most days she was amazing. Kristina went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, every hotel needs a lovely lady like her!

Excellent place to stay in Malta. Katerina and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They included special gifts in our room for our birthday and provided exclusive access to the Opal lounge which definitely made our stay memorable. Breakfast was amazing and the beds were super comfy. The Skybeach was excellent and provided a great view of the city and the water. Anytime we wanted something, it was brought up to the room immediately. The concierge desk was helpful and resourceful. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and ATM’s nearby. It was our first time staying at an Intercontinental hotel and we will definitely recommend it to others in the future.

It was bit noisy late at night due to the location but it didn’t bother us.

This is one of the best quality service I received from hotel in 20 years. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Guest Experience Executive Ms. Katerina Angelkovska is a great person, which goes way, way above the standard to make the customer happy. People working in the hotel and especially Katerina have made our stay wonderful and we are so glad to choose this hotel. We are a family 2+3 and hotel was able to accommodate us in a room with two huge and two normal beds. We appreciate it! Finally we could have good sleep. (In other hotels we usually need to sleep with one of the kids). Lovely! The breakfast was good (continental + option to choose extra hot meals). Service at breakfast also great. Everyday fresh bottles with water is a nice and useful gift. The location of the hotel is convenient for divers when they use DiveWise/TechWise center. There is an additional exit from the hotel at level 8 and that is a very useful exit/entrance. I cannot think of any other hotel to choose on my next trip to Malta. Great job, people at Intercontinental Malta!

The food quality at the swimming pool could be improved. We were missing additional electrical sockets at the bed. (There were at the desk, but only USB at bed).

All the staff were very helpful and supportive. They provided the room/view I requested and upgraded my room, as well as provided a complimentary beverage. The location was perfect and very easy to get around. There's access to a great gym that has beat all hotel gyms I have been to.

The men's changing rooms by the indoor pool are very dated with lots of wear and tear and needs to be refurbished. Great location but no parking provided by hotel. There's a parking facility nearby that charges 15Euro a day. I found free parking approx 5-10mins walk away.

When I shopped around, the hotel was rated 4.3 out of 5 but I would give full 5 points! I think the cleanliness, the quality of service, in short it was a high-end luxury experience! I have travelled to 21 countries and I have stayed in a lot of hotels! I enjoyed their several pools, and we liked best that they have a private beach and a restaurant right at the beach! The breakfast buffet was incredible. They had everything there and they had a cook to prepare your breakfast just the way you like!

I really can't think of anything that they can improve on!
