Here's a comprehensive review of my stay: Location (9/10): The hotel's location was excellent, situated in the heart of Novena, it offered easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city. There were plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping centers, and attractions within walking distance. Check-In (10/10): The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and I didn't have to wait too long to get my room key. Room (7/10): The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the selection of pillows provided. The room's size was adequate, but it felt a bit compact, especially if you have large luggage. Amenities (8/10): The hotel offered a good range of amenities, including a 24-hour fitness center, which was well-equipped for a quick workout. The complimentary breakfast was decent with a variety of options to suit different tastes, although it could get crowded during peak hours. Noise Levels (9/10): Despite being in a bustling area, the room was surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Wi-Fi (7/10): The Wi-Fi signal in the room was decent, but at times it could be a bit slow and inconsistent. It was sufficient for basic browsing and emails but may not be ideal for heavy internet usage. Value for Money (8/10): Considering the location and overall comfort, the hotel provided reasonable value for money. However, keep in mind that Singapore can be expensive, and you might find other options at a similar price point. In conclusion, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Novena Hotel Singapore was enjoyable and met my expectations for a comfortable and convenient stay. The location, cleanliness, and friendly staff contributed to a positive experience.

Hotel service team - polite, attentive, helpfull, cheerful. The receptionist Mr Sim helps us alot. Atmosphere - simple and delightful. Hotel color theme is matchy and gave us very pleasant feeling upon entering the building Breakfast - very good, came with scramble eggs, hashbrowns, vegetarian mushrooms, assorted breads, butters & jams, fruits, porridge, salads and local foods (changed daily). We were also served with varieties of hot & cold drinks. To take note it is a "No pork no lard" buffet breakfast. Inside the hotel room - the room size is consider big as compared with others. Bed is very comfortable, came with 2 sets of soft and firm pillows. Light control switches just around the headboard. Came with two USB type A charging points. Basic room amenities - hangers with clips, iron, iron board, small electric kettle, cups, coffee & sugars, safety box, mini fridge (empty within). TV with local channels, and some popular channels such as HBO, MTV, worldnews, BBC etc. Mini alarm clock, reading lights, phone is also available Basic toiletries - equipped with basic toothbrushes and toothpaste, glasses, shower gel, shampoo & conditioners, toilet papers. Towels are provided in 3 sizes too. No bath robes, but it is fine for us. Location - Apart from private transfer, can choose to take bus 130 or 145 to town (orchard, bugis etc). Walking distance of 2 to 3 min to the nearest bus stops. Bus journey approx 30min to Bugis. Probably a walk for 15 to 20min by foot from hotel to nearest Novena MRT. Others - laundry room, gym room, and swimming pool is an additional facilities to the stay. 🤩 Suitable for business travelling (with taxi) or self exploring the town (with bus).

Location are near to to amenities and buses to centres. Very Clean and roomy room was perfectly look after daily for the sixteen days staying them. I would like mention names if I am allowed to. These are the staff I got in contact with . A GREAT SURPRISE THEY holds MANAGER POST! I felt so proud too !

Staffs are friendly and always greeting you with a smile when approaching! This is a very good concept! There is staff wishing you “Welcome back to hotel” and Have a good night rest. How marvelous is these! Surprise,y and never happen before. Found out that management position, serving breakfast among the breakfast staff sixteen days when I was there with a smile and friendly gesture. Never happened in other hotel I have had stayed.

The staff was nice and friendly, breakfast buffet was great with many choices. Great coffee machines! The room was cosy, but sufficient. The hotel is in a few minutes walking distance to the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. For public transport, there's an often frequented bus stop 100 meters from the hotel. The next MRT is in 15 minutes walking distance. After I checked out in the morning, the hotel offered me to place my baggage in a separate room for the day and also to redress myself in the pool area before I had to leave for the airport in the evening! Thank you!

If you prefer coffee with milk, pay attention to the fridges at the coffee machines as the milk is sometimes not cold enough! The room's walls must be thin as sounds from the neighboring rooms are well to hear. One not so nice occasion was that I was sent to the next night store several hundred meters away from the hotel, when I got hungry in the middle of the night due to jetlag, although there was a snack machine in the pool area, which I realized later! The guy at the reception probably also didn't know that...

Restaurant all crews are all welcoming. Special mentioned to Manager Mr Pandian his a very nice guy and accomodating and smiling.😊

Little bit far from mrt station and malls.

The staff were great, very accommodating and hospitable in many situations, including holding ordered food at the reception for us and allowing us to change to a room with more light/better view. Room's were clean and constantly serviced which was nice. Spacious enough for two people and the TV had HDMI inputs for those wanting to display their media. Ordering a taxi was fairly easy from the lobby and hotel staff did assist you with this if necessary as well. Meals offered at the bar/restaurant (not the breakfast buffet) were also quite nice

While there was a wide variety of breakfast options they were fairly average, meats were often quite hard and didn't seem very freshly cooked.

Great location, very close to little India and pretty easy to get Cabs from. Beautiful impeccable rooms. Lovely friendly staff went out of there to help us, Ash even went out of her way to make a list for everything we should explore. Abused the complimentary bottled water service as we had two kids and some of the members of the party weren’t comfortable with tap water. Got a late checkout as well without any hassles, despite just informing a few hours earlier on checkout day. Last but not least, the breakfast spread was among the best I have experienced in terms of quality and variety of food.

Probably the kitchenette could have more utensils (It never struck us that we could probably have asked for them and considering they complied with every request, seems unlikely even that would have been refused).

This hotel stay was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Very clean rooms with comfortable modern furnishings. All hotel staff were super friendly, helpful and quick to assist. Delicious breakfast buffet with great variety that we looked forward to every day. Close enough to the city centre that the commute is easy, but situated in a quiet neighbourhood so you could explore the local surrounds. Temperature inside was perfect - effective and adjustable aircon in each room.

We noticed the walls were not very sound proof, and neighbours talking loudly in the corridor past 12am was slightly disruptive - not a fault of the hotel of course!

Exceptional customer service for our family of 4: we arrived at 6.30am because of our flight, and expected to perhaps leave our luggage until proper check in time at 2pm. Instead we were warmly welcomed, bags taken, promised our room could be ready at 1pm, given a card to allow us into the pool area as well as the wifi code that usually requires a room number to activate and told that purchasing an extra breakfast package (so that we could go and have breakfast immediately not just the next day) was all fine, so we did that and were already pleased. They then asked if we'd like to use a small room to rest in for the next few hours until our suite was ready, which I was extremely impressed with, as I've never seen a hotel do that and we were very tired. We had lunch in their cafe and the manager swapped soup for icecream on the set menu for our two children, which was very thoughtful. On the day of our checkout they gave my son a birthday card as it was going to be his birthday in a couple of days. In the evening we went out and found local takeaway place to get foods from and brought back to our suite which had a kitchenette and dining table with plates, cutlery etc. which was handy. The rooms and suites (having seen one of each) are a decent size, well priced, clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is good, but the customer service was what shone out above everything. Exemplary. Would come back here any time. The location is probably not the most central in terms of sightseeing but I'd stay there and just get a taxi to the sightseeing areas. (We actually stayed the night before in what was apparently a 5 star rated 6th in the world for airport hotels (in Australia) and while it was great, this place knocked the socks off it for customer service!)

As there's not really food in the evenings, you need to go find some and perhaps they could have directions as to where to go for tourists who don't know the area. (Tip: if you turn left out of the hotel and walk along for about 5-7min there 's a small place that does takeaway of four different 'brands': fried chicken, pizza, pasta and healthy salads, it was good value and tasty quality food).

The staffs at the hotel were really kind. Even we gave them a lot of demands, they tried to solve demands in the range of their capability. Also we loved the breakfast menu because there were a lots of food.

The only thing that we felt uncomfortable was there wasn't a curtain that can prevent water splashing from shower box. We knew there were glass wall so most of water didn't splash to the bathroom floor. But it only covered half of the shower box so we thought that it would be comfortable to use bathroom if there were a shower curtain which can cover whole shower box.
