Great location close to 2 metro stations, bus 483 stop which takes you straight to the aiport, Buchurest center within walking distance. Amazing breakfast big choice. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Staff was always very helpful and did their maximum to help. I had to leave one morning before breakfast which starts at 7am and they were happy to make me a packed breakfast and let me have a coffee even though they were officially opening only at 7am. Thank you

The view from my window, but I agreed to keep the room as it was on the quiet side. The member of staff was ready to give me another room, but also warned me that on the other side /the street side/ it is noisier.

It is really a great value for money hotel. Location? Amazing! Really close to the old city and in the city center. The rooms were exactly as pictured in the photos, not too big or small and with a great bathroom with a bathtub. Really comfortable beds with one of the best pillows I had in a hotel, like ever! Daily room service. The staff was really polite and helpful and with good English.

Well the breakfast was our only kind of an issue. It wasn't bad, but it could be of a wider variety . I mean it had the essentials, yet the buffet seamed a bit small and poor for a 4* hotel, that's all. Just a pointer to get that 10 out of 10 in a mater of value hotel!

I was very happy in Hotel Ambasador - everything was to my liking! The receptionist, a young man was really great, helpful and easy to communicate with. The clear was a french speaking hotel staff who I liked very much. The staff at breakfast were above, way above average - very observant, forward-thinking, and proactive! I will come back to this hotel for longer stay next time.

Loved my stay! The place was extremely clean. I just got a budget single room, but it had updated fixtures, furniture, nice bathroom and even access to a balcony. The wifi was strong and reliable, and would be great for anyone working remotely. I like beds and pillows on the firmer side, and I slept so well while at the hotel. My bed and pillows were so comfortable. Rooms felt soundproof--I heard nothing from any other rooms. The staff was very nice and available 24/7. The location is central and easy to access the bus to the airport, and lots of tours actually pick up right in front of the hotel as well. There is a small grocery store right around the corner, plus lots of restaurants and shopping all along the block. I don't care for room service and they respected my 'do not disturb' sign during my entire stay, which I appreciated. I traveled as a solo female and felt very safe.

Showers were a little small. If you are plus size they might be a bit snug. The water was hot and came immediately though.

Hotel staff is super helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room we had was spacious and confortable, the TV console was a delight as we were able to rotate the TV at 360°. Loved the location; in the heart of the city, close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, multiple museums and the old Town. Additionally the hotel is perfectly located between two subway stops (Romana and Universității) and multiple bus stops.

For the time we spent there I would have appreciated a room with double sink bathroom. Our friends that only joined us for a night got a much better room overall than the one we had for 3 nights. The doors could use some soundproofing.

Arriving at the hotel we found the staff helpful and they helped us check in relatively quickly The room we booked was nice and large with a couple of chairs and a small table. We didn't find anything unclean in the room it was nice and tidy. All the staff were very helpful and friendly when resolving the issue with our cards not working for the door. The hotel looked was nice and modern. The location was very good with the metro only a few minutes walk it allowed us to travel all over the city. There is nice restaurants with in walking distance such as Don Vito's across the road so you don't need to go far for a meal out. For fast food McDonald's is only a couple of minutes up the road on the way to the metro so it made a nice stop. The hotel is right on the main Street so when returning late at night it is nice and lit up so there is a sense of security. The room we had on the 10th floor did not have any noticeable sound leak through from the outside.

We had issues with the door that meant it wouldn't open with our cards on multiple occasions even after having the cards reset it took multiple attempts most of the time. There was a very loud party at the bar on the 11th floor and it was unclear whether we had access to that (otherwise) or not. The only elevator got held by someone at the party for over 5 minutes meaning we had to walk down 10 flights of stairs which even though it's downhill is quite tiring. The AC seemed to make us sneeze when we kept it in use which makes us think the filters haven't been looked at in a long time. The table provided in the room was quite low and not very big which made it somewhat awkward to eat food on..

Great location, walking distance to Old Town and two subway stops. I thought the breakfast was quite a bargain. Not the best you've ever had, but well worth the extra price charged.

Weak water pressure in the bathroom. The shower water temperature had a mind of its own, at times veering from tepid to very hot. Could have been just my room.

Great location; polite & helpful staff; atmospheric, even slightly mysterious interier with a touch of romance and nostalgia; spacious room with a roof top terrace allowing an excellent view on the northern part of the city; fabulous breakfast; plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby; wifi & aircon working well

It appears as if the hotel was partially closed - the hotel bar and restaurant don't work, which is a shame as you can't fully enjoy the hotel stylish atmosphere; the room mini bar was empty although the price list was present in the room; most of the hand sanitizers available on each floor were empty througout the whole stay; the cleaning can be improved; a hoover and piles of bed sheets were left in the corridor thoughout the whole stay - slightly unprofessional for a four star "establishment";

I was ill and needed to rest and this hotel was a great bargain. Stayed here 2 times, before illness and with illness, both rooms were really nice - good facilities and well furnished. Helpful staff and central location without being loud.

Restaurant only does breakfast - I didn't get to try it but with being ill, it would have been convenient to be able to pop downstairs to get some food or order room service. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby though so not that big of a deal.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to everything! Great links to public transport, although taxis are still cheap and there are two applications now Uber and Bolt, both reasonably priced. The room was very clean and really comfortable. We had the most amazing view from our window. All the staff were very helpful and really nice.
