Stayed for three nights in July 2024 as part of a trip around eastern Europe. Wonderful welcome received from reception staff who remained friendly and informative throughout our stay and would politely field any questions asked. Our room, on the third floor, was very large with an entrance hall, two full length windows and fantastic air conditioning. The room included a large, comfortable bed, ample storage, a safe, complimentary water, tea and coffee and a good sized fridge. There is a Carrefour mini market 3 minutes-walk away. The room was impeccably cleaned daily. Excellent free Wi-Fi was also included. The location is great, situated on the main through road and just a short walk from the Old Town with lots of varied restaurants, bars and shops in the surrounding neighbourhood. Access to the hotel spa was also included and a very welcome break after long days in the summer heat. The breakfast buffet was first class - varied and substantial and enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending. A great value hotel in a wonderful location.

Location is in the center of everything. Can walk to major site of interests. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Michael at the reception welcomed us warmly when we arrived very early in the morning and gave us good option for early check-in with minimal fee. Breakfast is with good variety and with attentive and good staff service too. Rooms are huge, clean and elegantly decorated. We loved our stay so much that we booked our stay with them when returning from Transylvania 3 days after. This hotel is highly recommended to anybody travelling to Bucharest.

Wi-fi at the reception was very weak which was nedeed when we were booking our uber. But thanks to the staff who came to the rescue.

Easy walking distance to restaurants and lots of historic buildings and sites. Beautiful hotel and decor, the hotel spa has free pool and jacuzzi.

I understand its a business but had to pay for late afternoon check-out (train departure). Buffet breakfast had a great selection but the 'hot' items were cold.

The room we had was very nice, it was traditional in style and very well laid out with plenty of room Breakfast was excellent Location is superb, just a few minutes walk from the old town Nice little area outside for food or a glass to watch the world go by

Not the hotels fault but the old town seems to be full of places to eat that spread all over the pavements, once you get past that the rets is lovely, but with people trying to usher you in and fighting over you to go into the restaurant's was not pleaseant

Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and polite, room was clean and tidy, towels were changed daily and all items replenished in toilet along with tea and coffee, the hotel elegantly furnished throughout. Breakfast was at reasonable times with a selection of various foods available, trays were replenished when required. the hotel was in a great location with a short walk to the old town, bus service, metro. Value for money

My room was well decorated and furnished with nice touches like the mirror in the bathroom and the bedroom furniture. The ceiling was very high which was great and my room faced onto a terrace. All in all it was great. I enjoyed the bar and had suppers and drinks here, and although I was on my own I was made to feel comfortable by the gentleman in charge. Thank you to him especially.

The fact that I had to ask for Cappuccino at breakfast as I do not like Expresso, and not all staff were keen to make it. Some staff at breakfast need to realise they are providing a service, and yet others were charming and very helpful.

This was an excellent hotel with friendly, well trained, competent and efficient staff. The suite was spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant with fresh coffee and various egg dishes cooked to order. An evening meal in the restaurant was good.

We would recommend this hotel for a stay in Bucharest. It was within easy walking distance of the sights we wished to visit. There were plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

This hotel is a gem! Great service, spacious and clean rooms, plus if you get access to the spa as a hotel guest. There is a hot tub and a sauna. There is also a bar and restaurant that we did not try but looked lovely. There is also an outdoor area with tables and chairs. Just outside of the old town so the location is perfect!

There is a gym but it is SUPER tiny and outdated. It also doubles as the towel folding area for the spa so would not consider this much of a gym.

The location is beautiful, has an interesting history, but the staff could be trained more when it comes to hospitality, given the up and coming competition in the city.

Staff attitude was a bit questionable, probably still in training and can understand that it's not easy to find people trained for these jobs as easy as before, and the rooms could be upgraded. The water wasn't actually getting too hot, which makes me wonder if they want to save money or not sure, but for a 5 star hotel the expectations are high and would expect the basic necessities to be fulfilled.
