Walking distance from main attractions, good breakfast and nice staff

I found bed bugs in my room 😞 That basically killed my stay.

The staff was very accommodating. I phoned them through WhatsApp to notify that my flight got delayed and I will arrive after their reception desk closes (10pm). They waited for me to make sure I arrive alright and I got there at 11. Comfortable room and clean. Breakfast was nice and included, they cooked some sunny side up and sausages. Hotel was around 15min walk to old town. Thank you for accommodating me!

I would suggest investing in some mosquito nets in the room or place some mosquito trap. There were quite a few bugs in the room when I was there.

I liked everything! Especially the staff. My arrival was quite challenging - very, very late and earlier that day I had a delivery to the hotel while I hadn't arrived yet. The hotel staff mastered this situation very well! For the rest: very clean, very comfortable bed, nice furniture and nice set up in the room, which allowed me to telework for a whole week from there. Historical and charming building. Very close, in walking distance to almost all attractions in the city. Very quiet, I loved that! Very nice breakfast and excellent coffee!

There was nothing I can think of that I didn't like.

property was in a quiet location but only a 7 minute walk to the metro, also close to a number of small grocery stores. The staff were super nice and helpful especially Gilda at the front desk and the ladies at breakfast. Nice big bathroom.

it was hard to find especially at night because it doesn’t look like a hotel and the sign is so small, even our taxi driver had difficulty locating it, although we were told that a much bigger sign will be put up soon. Also, if you come after 10, there’s no one at the reception and it was a bit scary for 2 senior ladies to figure out what to do in a semi dark lobby with no one around. Our room key was left at the front desk but without any instructions. We should have been told ahead of time that no one would be there and given some instructions, such as where the elevator is, etc., what floor room 14 is (on floor 2). Good thing we had some snacks since we didn’t know where to go to buy food. There were also mosquitoes in the room. Very small lift since it’s an old building.

The location was great. The breakfast was wonderful and the ladies in charge of it very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet, which is very essential for a good night sleep, and at the same time central. Top! The price is also very reasonable. The hotel staff answers any email you send. If you arrive late, they will arrange everything for you in advance as the reception closes at 10pm.

The men at the reception were less friendly than their female colleagues. The hotel shuttle to or from the airport is much too expensive. 45,- euros one way whereas a taxi costs around 16,- euros and the bus 1,60 euro! But I would not recommend the bus at night. It takes much too long. Taxis are fine.

Location, not far away from city centre, big, comfortable room for 2+1 family (not often available in other hotels), tasty and various breakfast (menus freshly prepared), friendly lady at the reception.

Parking - we had to leave car on the street in the place which was marked as "non parking" area which made us feeling unsafe and unsecured. Cold water in the evening - we had to take a shower in cold water, it started to be warm only in the morning. No signage on the building about the hotel (hard to find when first time arriving). Would be good to have mosquito protection net in the windows to keep windows opened.

I stayed at Lahovary Palace Hotel for 4 days and definitely felt like home since the very first moment. The hotel is few minutes walk to the subway and to the main street; 15 min walk to the city center: yet it is in a very quiet and peaceful area. The hotel has been completely renovated; I was told it took 4 years to do so: the owner wanted to follow the original blueprint of the building to restore it to its original splendor, and he definitely succeeded! I definitely recommend asking to be told the history of this wonderful place. The rooms are, at the same time, elegant and simple: cozy and comfy, with high ceilings and precious furniture. You can’t help but notice the attention to the details that the owner had in furnishing the hotel: a treat for the eyes! The bed and especially the pillows are so comfortable: the icing on the cake that helped me have such great nights of sleep in Bucharest! A nice touch: the large mirrors by the bed, along with the bathroom mirror that perfectly pairs with the see-through glass of the shower box! The people at Lahovary are totally customer oriented and always trying to meet any of the customer’s needs. I especially had a great time with Vlad: we chatted and laughed a lot! He was extremely helpful during my stay, as were all the staff! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and already can’t wait to go back: I already miss all the staff, and I just got back home!

Everything, let start from the enterense to the hotel, the girl in reception was very nice, explained and answered to us all that we interested 😀 Let's speak about rooms, we ordered two rooms, as we was 6 person. The rooms in one word amazing,, big,new and beautiful 😍 The Jorgh, the chef of the hotel, was very nice made to as special food to amazing breakfast, we was full, it was teste, big portions and additional to the end of our breakfast he brings to us teste steak 😋 Let tell about The owner, one of our children Unfortunately get sick and get hi temperature 🌡, we stay in the hotel just one night, our flight was in 19:00 , the owner tried to give us a room for free of charge 😀 but we said that it's OK and we set in perfect hotel lobby. Thanks to all the hotel staff, the chef, the owner, Our next stay in Bucharest we will stay in your hotel for 100%.

Nothing...everything was perfect

I booked an apartment in this hotel. Rooms and the bathroom were clean and the most important thing it was spacious (the bathroom too). TV was large and flat screen with Netflix, you tube and the best thing I could watch my favourite TV show Survivor and support my favourite team Razboinici! I felt like at home. Reception guy was waiting for me at the gate when we arrived. the positive thing they made already a bed for us on the sofa too so I didn’t have to go and ask them about it . everything was ready.

The breakfast was not so various like I used to have in other hotels. there was butter, bread, gem, fruits. but the lady in the canteen was so cute and had a chat with us. and she offered to my mother in law Zacusca cause she was fasting. Coffee was fine. there is underfloor heating so it was a bit cold at first in the room but I asked the receptionist and he showed to me where I should change the temp and it was fine . Some people under the window stayed too much at night at the bar and discussing so loudly but it didn’t bother me personally cause I was tired

Very new hotel. Regal feel to it. Exceptionally comfy beds and spacious rooms. Nice calm atmosphere in the rooms. Ladies on reception so so nice. With a bit more time this place will be exceptional. Maybe some chillout music in the bar outside, some tea lights etc.. give the place a bit of life.

Advertised as balcony room.. its not really a balcony in room 10 to be fair! You need to climb up a chair to get onto it. Floors a bit dirty.. looked like builders dust to us.. they just need a good mop so your feet and socks aren't destroyed!
