The restaurants are very good, the food that they bring via room service was excellent. We will only return for the restaurants.

The fact that there is no A/C in all the rooms is a very big disadvantage. During the hot hours, we had to stay in side with our baby to sleep, and the temperature inside was very high. Considering the price we paid, this was unacceptable. Definitely, we will not return during the summer period.

The location is great, in the city center but on a small rise that offers great views. Very polite staff, from the reception clerks to the waiters, cleaning crew, bartenders and everyone in between. Amazing spa center, with two big indoor pools (one with a glass ceiling which offers great views and is tremendous on snowy or rainy days and a huge one with salt water), 2 or 3 jacuzzis, dry and wet saunas, plenty of beds, a pool bar and in the VIP area (at an additional cost) a salt sauna, an extra jacuzzi and a vast array of massages. There seemed to be also am outside pool and another pool bar, but we just glimpsed them. Hotel International offers three restaurants: Panoramic, with Romanian cuisine, Sofia Italian Cuisine and the Austrian Tirol. All great, with plenty of space, nice decor, good food and friendly staff. Amazing buffet breakfast, a true 4 stars one, with something for everyone. Nice interiors, beautiful room with a huge comfy bed, a desk and balcony. Big bathroom with a walk-in shower. Chocolate Bar in the enormous lobby - beware, it's a standard day bar, not a chocolate tasting one, as we believed. Upon inquiry, we discovered that there were once big chocolate sculptures on the bar and a nice selection of desserts, but not anymore. There is also a beauty center and an entertainment center (pool and bowling) available at additional costs. We didn't try them, so no feedback other than they exist. In short, we had a wonderful experience that we would repeat anytime. Highly recommend.

The costs are pretty high, both for the accomodation and for the meals. You get good value for both, but much like the whole Prahova Valley it's not for everyone. As a young couple, we spent about 2200 lei (440 euro) for 2 nights, 2 full dinners and 2 light lunches. The temperature in the spa center could be higher and for the water too, especially in winter. There was an automatic door to the outside which kept opening when someone passed by, letting the cool air inside. Some hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom would be very useful.

Very good facilities and well maintained, friendly staff willing to help and solve issues, good choice of the breakfast options, good size of the room, family friendly hotel, close to the telecabina if you want to go up skiing and right on the main street - good location for a walk or eating out options. We really did enjoy our one week stay and will come back for sure.

On the main street so you hear some traffic noise, cleaning could be better (dust on the tables and under the couch, but bathroom spotless), lifts can get a bit crowded (only 2 for the whole hotel) as well as the pool, beds are on the hard side. Still, one of the best hotels in Sinaia.

When we checked in, the twin beds were already placed next to each other and the baby crib was installed, as we requested. Bed was very comfortable, pillows as well. The room had centralized AC. Great balcony, facing towards the city center. It was rather noisy when we were out on the balcony, but the door did an excellent job soundproofing the room. The room was spotless when we arrived, and was kept that way for the whole stay, with thorough cleaning every other day, including change of bedding and towels (on demand, according to the hotel's eco-friendly policy). Bathroom was very clean as well. Breakfast was great, very diverse and great quality ingredients. Kudos for the apple juice and the sweets! SPA area is awesome! Two heated swimming pools and several hot tubs around, including one outside. Haven't tried the massage. Great job with the non-slippery tiles around the pools! Highly recommend the Tirol restaurant in the second floor! Not the cheapest place in town, but not the most expensive either. The food was great and service was excellent! Good job! The Italian restaurant downstairs was not my cup of tea, but to each their own. A highly appreciated "hidden gem" was the children's play room, especially by our 3yo, who, at some point, was considering moving in there forever. The hotel is well situated in the town, a short 5min walk away from the central park, cable car, shopping area and restaurants. Also, the hotel has its own parking area, rather big, where you can leave your car for free. The hotel staff was very nice, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Same goes for the restaurant workers.

The two elevators may seem a little insufficient at certain times of the day, and you may end up waiting for a few minutes in front of them before getting into one. Also, the soundproofing of the rooms can be improved (from inside the hotel; as I said before, the noise from outside is excellently cancelled), or maybe work on some more strict no noise policy, since we could hear people in the neighbouring rooms and the hallway, which was rather disturbing in the evening. Not a deal breaker, and I'm not even sure it's only the hotel's responsability, since people need to be more aware of other guest's needs, but had to be mentioned.

- good location near the city center (with a big praking space) - clean & comfortable room, big bathroom, balcony view towards the city and mountains - pet friendly (even though you have to pay an extra fee for your pet) - friendly and helpful staff - very good and diverse breakfast - excelent restaurants on location (we ate mostly at Cucina Sofia)

- during breakfast time and in the afternoon when the spa closes it's a real pain to catch the elevator - interior walls are rather thin, you can easily hear what's happening on the hallway and in the rooms around you.

The rooms were very spacious, the beds comfortable. The sound proofing was great compared to other hotels in the area, there was only minimal noise that could be heard from the hallway. They really undersell the pool and the SPA, it's one of the best pool areas I saw in Romania. They have a large saltwater pool, a smaller fresh water one, two jacuzzis, and two saunas that are included in the price of the room. There is also a massage and VIP are that I didn't have time for. After a day of hiking or skiing the pool is great.

We only tried the Italian restaurant, the good was ok, but for the price it could be better. The service was great though, and we had a nice meal all in all.

The room was nice, comfortable beds, all clean. The breakfast was great and various as usual. The chill out area in front of the hotel was better set up than previous years. The parking is large and very close to the hotel.

I chose a room with a North view as previous times. Still from the 2nd floor there wasn't much of view but the Panoramic restaurant roof and the 4 stars sign above the entrance. The carpet which used to cover all the room's floor was now removed and replaced with parquet which made the room even louder than usual (one can hear every noise from the other rooms and the hallway). The fan in the bathroom was efficient, but still terribly loud. The room seemed a bit worn out, not very significant, but details like small nicked furniture, peeled wallpaper or chair provided the feeling it could be better.

The breakfast was good and very diversified. The facilities are nice and kept very clean. The playing room is a very good thing when you travel with kids. We enjoyed the food from the Italian restaurant. Overall very pleasant experience

When we arrived we had to wait for our room, telling us the lady which is cleaning is a bit old. No offence, we can understand that, but if you already know, why not organize better and avoid keeping customers waiting .

Breakfast was excellent, lots of options for every taste. Restaurant has a superb view upon Sinaia. We asked for a twin room. Instead we've got a double, with balcony. The room is spacious and nicely furnished. We haven't used the spa but we welcomed the free parking offered by the hotel.

There are two restaurants open on hotel's premises: a Tirolese and an Italian. If I could see an excuse for the Austrian restaurant, since we're up in the mountains, I cannot see the justification for the Mediterranean one. There are lots of local tasty dishes, much better than pizza, pasta and seafood.
