The facilities are new and clean! The scent of the tent is amazing! very soothing and relaxing. I like that they also provide lots of activities at the campsite, such as movie night and sauna. We reserve sauna and it was amazing. We highly recommend to go enjoy Sanna.
itâs kind of cold in the tent but you can rent a heater but it just the heater costs $45 is kind of expensive. another disappointment was when we were done doing Sana. There was no hot water for us to take a shower. We were pretty sad, cuz it was really cold.

This resort was the perfect spot for some peaceful âme time.â During my visit, I seemed to be the only guest, which made the experience even more serene. The tent I stayed in was clean and looked stunning when illuminated at night. The starry night sky was absolutely breathtaking. However, there are a couple of things to note. Winter nights can get very cold, and while the resort offers a $30 heating service, I didnât opt for it as an experienced camper. If youâre visiting in winter, I recommend bringing a sleeping bag or wearing plenty of layers. Additionally, the tent is located near a local road and doesnât have any noise barriers, so passing cars can be quite loud, especially in the early morning. Consider bringing earplugs or noise-canceling headphones to minimize disruptions. Despite these minor issues, my stay was truly enjoyable and memorable.

Glamping at an affordable rate! Beautiful and comfortable yurts in a vast compound so there is no crowded feeling and you can watch the sunset/aunrise and the milky way at leasure. A gorgeous location sureounded by the desert while not too far from Joshua Tree - perfect to explore the park and the little town attractions, and disconnect. The architecture of the different homes (yurts, towers, containers) is really cool and the cowboy tub is lovely to cool off after a hot day!
There was only one shower. A little water regulation in this desertic setting would go a long way to protect the environment and limit the waiting time. But the compound was not too busy so it was manageable :)

Castle House estate is a great place to stay. We stayed in the tower A great unusual place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful. A safe area. Lovely comfortable bed. Clean throughout. Lovely site, plenty of space, not crowded. It was great to sit on the roof and watch the stars! And if course see the sunset! The place is very quiet at all times so it's great just to chill out.
There appeared to be only one shower. This was outside but it was a good experience to shower outside in the heat. There was only one toilet per gender. This was very clean. These facilities did not cause us a problem, the site was quiet, and I don't think it was full. It may be a concern that if the site was full, this might pose a problem........??? Considering these things it may be slightly overpriced compared with other accommodation we have stayed at in the last 3 weeks in the USA.....

This place is definitely a tucked away little gem and easy to find. Due to travel we had to show up quite late but they quickly resoponded and let us know it was self service and we can come when we needed. That was an incredible relief we had hours to travel. So it made things easy and stress free. we were able to find our yurt quickly. And get comfortable. The layout of the whole place is super cute! The bathrooms are cute and convenient. Along with parking around to the left side. (When i say easy, it was easy! We arrived late at night. Just follow the road and signs) The yurt itself was so lovely! The bedding and all the little things inside to make it comfy. It was quite spacious as well, with extra blankets if needed. My first time in a yurt, it smelled so incredible inside as well. Lighting is perfect at night. You can get around and still enjoy stargazing without a problem. Unfortunately we couldn't stay long so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or sauna. But the hubby and I had an amazing stay looking at the stars we didn't want it to end. For a couple that likes to rough it, we laugh now that we've gone glampling. This is totally glamping. And I love it. With family in AZ and joshua trees being our new favorite place to explore, we will most definitely come stay again. I'd like to say lastly that I truly appreciate the communication it was everything. Our stay was perfect. Be back soonâŽď¸đ

Ambiance was great. Pleasantly surprised with comfort and space in a yurt, my first experience. Pizza was quite good. Location was away from town and peaceful. Definitely would consider staying there again. Very friendly staff and owners
Outdoor shower didn't have a door but but it did have tall landscaping on that side. Shower was nice otherwise.. They are in process of 2 new showers. Only 2 bathrooms, 1 men and 1 women's, in a trailer a little bit of a distance from the yurt we stayed in. It was clean and only had to wait 1 time for a few minutes. Personally I would have preferred a toilet and shower closer and more Private. I'm not upset with anything there, just posting my preferences. Not complaining but I think others should know. I would consider staying again if I am in the area.

Scott greeted us upon arrival and got us situated in our container location. He was gracious and provided us with information about the property and gave us a tour of the facilities. He was helpful in providing us with dining options as we were trying to decide where to eat. The overall experience was fabulous and worth the visit!
A designated wagon for each location would have been great! We were given a wagon to transport our stuff upon check-in, but we left early and didn't see anyone around to ask about the wagon for check-out. It wasn't a big deal, but it would be a nice touch to add.

I booked both a Yurt and the House. The place is amazing! Very well maintained and designed. Very nice decorations and perfect for a Joshua Tree Trip with a group of friends or a larger family. It is very easy to reach and pretty close to grocery stores and restaurants. Although, it is very relaxing, faslr from noises and with an amazing sky view. The house is very comfortable, and everything was provided, including very good toiletries and towels, kitchen tools, coffee and all the needed.
The Yurt had a propane heating that ran out the second night, transforming it in a very cold night. The shower is outside, and when it is cold it is definitely not the most confortable place to have a shower, luckily we also had the house. Also in the house, the temperature could not be controlled and during the night was dropping considerably. In the house, we could not find linen for the sofa bed in the living room, but I did not ask the staff, so this is mainly my fault.

Warm welcome from the owners. Beautiful setting. Clear night skies for star gazing. Good WiFi. Secure parking. Able to order pizza, sâmores, firewood to enjoy and brought to yurt. In the morning fresh coffee brought to our yurt( at extra cost). Limited breakfast food option, which suited us. Easy access into Joshua Tree Park for hikes.
Some road noise. It does get really cold at night and we needed the propane heater for the yurt and firewood for evening campfire. This incurred small extra cost. Take cold weather clothes to keep warm ( remember desert setting cold at night) & torch for restroom at night. Soon warms up in daytime.

From the moment I set foot in this establishment, it was clear that every nook and cranny had been crafted with the utmost love and attention to detail. The affection poured into this place doesnât just reside in its physical construct, but vibrantly lives in the warm and inviting atmosphere that wraps around you like a tender embrace from an old friend. The host was not only friendly but incredibly helpful, exuding a genuine warmth that made me feel welcome and at home instantly. His knowledge of the area and his readiness to assist with any request enriched the stay, adding a personalized touch that is so often missing in many hotels today. When night fell, it was as if the sky had been sprinkled with a dust of diamonds, offering a clear, uninterrupted view of the cosmos. A magical venue for stargazers, where one could easily lose hours just witnessing the majestic dance of celestial bodies, finding familiar constellations, and perhaps even catching a shooting star if fortune favored. The grounds offered perfect viewpoints to appreciate both day and night skies in all their glory â a conscious effort by the design team, no doubt, to harmonize with the surrounding beauty rather than compete with it. It was a humbling and yet exalting experience to sit under the expansive sky, feeling a part of something much larger and grander. An absolute must-visit, promising not just a stay, but a treasure trove of unforgettable experiences that beckon you to return, time and time again.
