Room 206 was spacious with excellent bathroom facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of wardrobe space. The room had a balcony which gave an excellent view over the lake. The staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. The breakfasts offered so much choice and the food in the restaurant was excellent.

There is nothing I can suggest to improve this hotel

Closeness to Carciano Ferry Station and walks along Lake Maggiore.

I found the rooms were not soundproof and you were able to hear conversations in next room easily. Some rooms with with bathroom fans were very noisy in the next room. Some bathrooms had windows and some not. The fans need attention. The bathrooms were all very new and lovely. The cleaning was very thorough and my housemaid was lovely. Front desk staff were lovely and very accommodating.

The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the interior and exterior were immaculately clean, thanks to the hard-working housekeeping staff. Our room (20) was spacious, with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. There was plenty of choice at breakfast to suit all tastes - the pastries were particularly good!

There was no shower curtain or screen over the bath , so the floor got flooded every time we had a shower. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic noise from the busy road going past the hotel. We were surprised to find that dogs (usually of the yapping kind) were allowed in the bedrooms and breakfast room.

Excellent location with beautiful view over lake. (you must stipulate lake view or you might get a road view). Nice balcony to sit and enjoy a glass of wine overlooking beautiful lake, mountains and islands. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful - especially Julia and Sophia, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Very good breakfast and spacious car park. Only a short walk to the main town and also to the jetty where the ferries leave for the Boromean Islands

Our bathroom was very small

The staff were very helpful in correspondence prior to our arrival (train delays) then most welcoming and professional. We had a stunning room with views over the lake, so good we stayed up for a nightcap on the balcony to enjoy the evening lights. Breakfast was excellent. The location was very good, about 10 mins walk from the station - easily handled even with baggage - and it was a short walk down the hill to one of the boat stations to the islands, and a lovely waterfront promenade into Stresa's shopping area.

Hotel staff were welcoming, helpful and all very nice. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, and well stocked and presented buffet with plenty of choice. The pool area was clean and sun beds were always available. Good value for money, and a pleasant location which was not too far from the centre of Stresa.

Nothing to dislike.

Location and staff—William was especially courteous and helpful

our lake view room had a peek-a-boo view due to a large tree across from it. Additionally, the room was very narrow with very little space to move around especially when the closet door was open. the terrace off the room was lovely—too bad it rained most of the days 😔

Public transport to Stresa difficult but excellent taxi service

Beautiful lake view from our balcony and very comfortable. They provide a nice breakfast. It’s about a 25 minute walk to town which is a pleasant walk but can be a bit much to do a couple times a day- hard to get inspired to go back to town for dinner. We needed help getting our air conditioning set right and the man at the desk came up and was very testy about it - maybe he had all the tourists he could take by this time of year! The free parking was a big plus!

Needed a shower curtain

Good size room with nicely renovated bathroom. Had nice enough view over part of the lake. Easy access to parking behind the hotel. Nearby waterfront cafe bar was open for dinner after our late arrival (hotel restaurant closed at 9pm).

Even though a "lake view" room the room was on the end of the hotel and so also faced the road and had some road noise.
