This was a convenient and comfortable overnight stop on the way from Nanaimo to Victoria after a late evening ferry. Good sized room, very comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom with all the amenities provided. Helpful reception staff. My room faced the back of the property, so road noise was not an issue. My room had a noisy AC, but it was not needed with the window open. Breakfast, however, was a disappointment in a windowless room in the basement.

Location was good. Breakfast was good. Our room was the the only one with the jacuzzi tub inside the room itself, anywhere near the price i paid. So that value was outstanding

Not sure if its the actual hotels fault, but the restaurant inside the hotel was just absolute nonsense. The calamari was chewy, and i received fried pickles (i hate pickles so much lol) instead of the chicken fingers i ordered. So those 2 items plus the 1/2 order of Cesar salad (which was good thankfully) was $65 which stung a little. To be fair, they did let ua take the food to the room, and we were in there 20 minutes before closing so i was unable to return the food to give them a chance to make it right, but in the same breeath it should be right the first time. Other than that minor hiccup everything was wonderful.

The staff were very helpful. One young lady even helped me with my luggage since I had my hands full wheeling my sister to the car.

The breakfast area was challenging to manouver with the wheelchair. I would recommend leaving more room between tables, Most food was cold and almost gone when we were there at 9:00. Disappointing.

The location was on the main route and could be seen easily from the highway. A little awkward to get back on the highway from the hotel but manageable. Very close to Walmart if you need a few extra things. Bathroom was small but room was big enough. It was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful.

For an overnight stop en route to another destination it is quite pricey. I realize that is what you have to expect to pay.

Nice big room. very clean and comfortable beds. Very good selection of hot and cold breakfast foods, tea, coffee, juices, fruit and snacks. excellent staff interaction. Great to have a restaurant, bar and live music on site. Plenty of free parking. Nice pool area, which would be great in summer.

Everything was great.

Close to town, good price and most importantly the room was spotless. The bed was wonderful, we actually in bed for half because we were so comfortable!

I would have liked an aromatherapy oil and diffuser. I could brought my own, but forgot it.

Really enjoyed the family room, and how this hotel accommodates my elderly parents when we come, always have the first room past the desk

I’d asked for bedding for the hide a bed & never received it, so we used top of the two other beds

Breakfast was amazing, a full meal buffet style, hashbrowns, eggs, bacon or sausage, ham, waffle maker, syrup, butter, fruit cups, snacks like brownies, cookies, cereal, milk, non-diary milk! juices, tea, coffee. Location was great in Duncan, away from the not so great part.

Used to my firmer bed, so it felt a little off for my back. #FirstWorldProbs

I liked the easy access to the highway.

In spite of the fact that we had a four night booking, our room was groomed with the bare minimum of supplies. It’s a shame that we had to ask for a spare roll of toilet paper, a trash bag, coffee pods, a bar of soap. I feel that preparation for these necessities should have been supplied. Being that housekeeping is not offered now, there needs to be extra hooks for hanging wet towels.

Convenient location right off the highway. Quick trip to town for dinner was easy. The staff were all great!!

Carpets in hallway were dingy which made me nervous about the room. But the room was clean and comfortable.
