View over the harbour was lovely. All the staff we encountered were really nice, professional, and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

We were a little puzzled as to why the restaurant was located in a darker and rather small back corner of the main floor (with no view) and outfitted more like a sports bar, rather than located in the potentially expansive front of the hotel to take advantage of the big windows and lovely view of the water. The food we had on two occasions was quite good, but it seems they are missing an opportunity to have a destination restaurant attraction with higher end fare on the Island. Also, though the stairs (we counted about 29 steps to the second floor) seemed newly refinished and attractive, it would be lovely to have an elevator for the comfort of older folks like us. However, to be fair, the staff mentioned several times they would be happy to assist with baggage.

The new renovations are amazing. .we stayed in a lovely room overlooking the harbour with an enormous patio with lounge seating.The young man I think Chris who checked us in was efficient and friendly. Have stayed at this hotel in its various incarnations over the last 40 years and this is the best it has been in terms of comfort and high standard of rooms.Parking is easy. Despite feeling very new ,there is still a lovely atmosphere.

I think the catering will improve ,but the restaurant and bar were not always open and the people running breakfast were a little disorganized. I hope this improves as this hotel has fantastic potential and we will certainly return.

Very clean! Curtains that blocked out light. Free water bottles available (and snacks for hungry people). Having to request room services is more environmentally friendly, practical and "user-friendly", meaning giving customer more choice, privacy, and control..... I liked one young man at the front desk in particular: friendly, calm,, helpful, good listener. Liked that the back entrance was unlocked for those coming in late at night. Liked having bathrooms on lobby level, especially since there was no elevator. Location good/ close to town. Lots of parking in back.

No elevator (or did I miss it?)! Not good for people with various health/mobility issues. It should say on your website. Espresso machine was broken, so caused us to eat breakfast elsewhere. Cost of room pretty expensive....

We had a room facing the water and marina that had very comfortable chairs and a small table and chairs so you could have a snack or cocktail outside...so it was a great perch to appreciate the surroundings. (View in picture) Net net, we felt SO welcome and appreciated. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The restaurant, Woodly's is quite good. Lots of options for breakfast - and very generous servings. Dinner options were plentiful with very interesting additional entrees,

Great location 2 minutes by bicycle from centre of Ganges village, but surprisingly quiet; our room with harbour view and patio was wonderful , very comfortable and spacious with large patio nicely screened from next door rooms (I would not want to be in a room on the other side overlooking the parking lot). Staff were very helpful in providing a secure place to lock our bikes (and are working on creating a permanent bike storage facility).

It was no problem for us, but do note that there are 2 storeys and there is no elevator (they do however offer assistance with luggage).

The staff was very helpful and gave us sea facing rooms on our request. The breakfast was good but service was very slow. They had recently renovated and property looked clean. They even had a small welcome package. Overall I think the property is expensive but looked like one of the few decent places there. But the staff was very good and that is the reason I will stay there again.

Very friendly staff. Location is great. Just outside of the congestion of downtown core but close enough to walk to.

While the breakfast service (full or continental) was excellent, the taste of the evening restaurant meal was disappointing compared to everywhere else we ate on the island. Exception was the lemon dessert which was fantastic. Also can hear through the walls to the rooms next door so have to ignore the close proximity.

This is a very nicely renovated property, in an excellent location with beautiful views of Ganges Harbour. Our room was very clean and spacious with a good size deck with table and chairs. Woodley's restaurant serves very good food and is on an upward track. Breakfasts were ample and delicious. The staff are all very helpful and pleasant. If something isn't quite right, they fix asap.

Beautiful views to the harbour from our well-appointed room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good wifi. Friendly, proficient staff. Large balcony.

Hallway carpets and wood stairs need replacing. Non-dairy creamers for the nespresso machine. The room was cold but we didn’t do an extensive search for a control, just jumped into bed. The bed was oddly made - sheets folded half-way down under the duvet, all came loose overnight as the bottom sheet isn’t fitted. (A common practice now in hotels unfortunately.) No breakfast options - probably due to CoVID. We were expecting something posher for the price paid.
