Breakfast was good , muffins fresh baked yummy yummy 🤤. Good select nice variety of food . Staff is excellent very friendly, especially ( don’t remember her name) but she’s been with the View for 13 years housekeepers and she sometimes does the breakfast room , I was there in October 2022 girls weekend. And again in May/June celebrating my hubby’s birthday 🥳 . When we entered our room they left a small box of chocolates wishing my husband a Happy Birthday really nice touch 😊.

Unfortunately the man handling the food didn’t wear gloves .. in fact the first morning he grab the fruit with his hand and put in container, not very sanitary. I was very surprised I’m sure this is not the normal. The place is very clean maintained very well ..

The location is wonderful, close to attractions but far enough away to be super quiet. The suite we stayed in (108) was spacious and perfect. Two bathrooms. The main bathroom had a huge walk in shower with the best shower pressure and hot water I’ve ever had at any other place we’ve traveled to. There is a jacuzzi too! The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was nice, not a lot to choice from, but something for everyone to start their day.

Not a huge deal for us, but the bathroom plug and blow dryer didn’t work. Tried the GFI reset and the fuse box but it wasn’t a simple reset. Advised the office - again, not a big deal so we did not request them to fix it during our two night stay.

Breakfast is continental. Good selection however. Breakfast area is small so you make a time slot reservation. Not a problem at all. Rooms are quite spacious for a motel type property.

In the winter, they get plenty of ice and snow, and were not real quick on the removal of same. Areas get very slippery -you will need to use grippy footwear and caution walking around the property. Make sure your tires are in good shape! 4 wd helps.

Large comfortable room with very comfortable beds. Great views from the private deck and from the rest of the property (including from the pool). Powerful and hot shower in the large bathroom. A continental breakfast was included. The front desk recommended a great restaurant a little out of town which was excellent value for good food and which we would have been unlikely to try on our own.

There was some road noise from the nearby Route 7a, although it looked like most local accommodation would have had the same issue. A short drive to the restaurants and shops of Manchester and Manchester Center. Breakfast was a little underwhelming and served in a windowless room although it was provided on trays and we were invited to take them back to our room to eat on our deck. Only two chairs on the deck though and there were 4 of us staying in the room. On the whole it was still great value and we could always have got breakfast somewhere else.

We love the location. Manchester View is affordable and offers the amenties we like. The continental breakfast that you order the night before is enough to give a good start to the day. The homebaked muffins are an added treat.

I would only say that the decor at the property is a little tired and could use an update.

The accommodation facilities were excellent

Breakfast was frustrating and poorly organised. They need more tables in the breakfast area and more coffee ready as we (and others) were forever waiting for it to be refilled. Not sure who likes taking a breakfast tray to their room and eating at a low coffee table rather than a table of appropriate height and then having to go back to the breakfast room to ask for more coffee? Breakfast room staff were not the most 'service' orientated.

The view from the bedroom, the very large rooms. The rooms were a little dated but it didn't matter at all as there was so much space and the beds were massive. There was a fridge in the bathroom, with plenty of space to make light food. The pool felt heated (we didn't go in). It's small, but perfect for a dip. The scenery around is lovely (it's set in lovely grounds).. The breakfast was "to go" but we ate in the little room where you collect it from and it was very sweet - delicious toasted bagels and blueberry muffins, cereal, juice, fruit. Manchester is a quaint little town - so lovely to walk around. The rest of the family visited the glass blowing, which they loved (but was pricey to buy); I did the waterfall walk, which was lovely too. There is a scenic drive nearby that we didn't have time for. Nor did we have time for the quarry we wanted to go to, so we're super disappointed - you definitely need at least 2 full days here (we had a few hours).

We should have stayed longer.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. You have a great view of the mountains and you're right on the main street which leads you to downtown and Manchester Village in a matter of minutes. It is very quiet and peaceful and many of the units (including ours) have a deck with a small table and chairs for relaxation. Breakfast is offered each day from 8:00 to 9:30 am. It consists of fruit, yogurt, coffee/juice and tea. Our room was very quaint and comfortable. The bed was soft and there was ample space for clothes. Two extra pillows were provided. The bathroom was nice with ample counter space for all our things. The shower worked wonderfully and the water came out of the shower nice and strong. Parking is abundant and free. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. We were pleasantly surprised to get maid service every day which hasn't happened for us since before the Covid-19 pandemic.

This was a very minor thing... the bathroom mirror always fogged up significantly after taking a shower even with the ventilator on. Opening the small window solved the problem very quickly but I could see this being a problem when the weather isn't so warm. Again this was very minor.

It's a great location for me when I'm in town to sell books to Northshire Bookstore. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and well appointed and it's just an unbelievably beautiful spot!

I don't love that the fan comes on when the bathroom light turns on. I prefer to be able to turn the fan off or on at will!

The staff were excellent. Robin at the front desk was very helpful. She answered all of my questions prior to my visit. And was just as friendly in person. All staff we encountered were nice and professional. Personal touch. The cottages look deceiving from the outside. They look small but once inside, it's the perfect size for a couple. Our room was clean and welcoming. We had an end unit with a view of the mountains from the private deck. The wood fireplace was all set up and ready to use that evening. Perfect for the cold nights and simply adding ambiance to the room. It was our first time in Vermont and if we ever go back, we definitely would stay at the Manchester View again.
