The host was amazingly witty and wonderful. He was super patient with our arrival as we experienced terrible train delays. We were given the choice of two rooms which I thought was great service as opposed to just giving us whichever one he decided. We needed and iron and he was kind enough to provide that swiftly. The room was clean, well equipped with everything we needed included tea, coffee, biscuits and a kettle. The bed was super comfortable and the room was warm and cozy which was a huge plus considering the low temperatures outside. Toiletries were provided as well which is always a nice touch.

There was just one issue with a bit of a smell coming from the drains in the bathroom which was a tad inconvenient. But it might have been a temporary problem and it's certainly nothing major.

Andy our boss man was great, really friendly warm welcome, helped us out with anything we needed, but also wasn't there in our face all the time, which was nice, we knew if we needed him, he was a phone call away, spoke to one of his employees as well, she also was super friendly, ( sorry I didn't catch your name tho🙄), all in all a great little place to stay, in an ideal location to everything.

The one thing that really bothered us, was the soft bed, sorry Andy, but we are used to a much more firm bed, it was about the only thing we could find fault with, not really a fault tho, just our preference.

Was bright clean plenty of space to move around was warm and cosy. Had plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits was a lovely touch to the room. Room was very well presented.

Staff that was there were fantastic people can't wait to rebook and see the friendly staff again for another stay 100%. But are favourite thing of all with are stay was meeting Steve the seagal he was brilliant missing him already. Hope he's there again on are next stay.

We stayed only one night. The room was nice, small as stated on the website, but very cosy and nicely decorated. Plenty of coffee, tea, milk and sugar and also complementary biscuits were available in the room.

Just some minor things: one of the light bulbs on the bedside table was out (we realised that too late to ask for a replacement); once we closed the window, we couldn't open it again (there must be a trick to it!), and the toilet seat needs straitening.

The location was good not on the main road so it was nice and quiet. We arrived late due to delays with transport and they were brilliant and made sure that we were able to check in. Also the following day we were able to leave our luggage in a safe place to collect later in the day. Would definitely stay there again

The only downside was there wasn't a lot of water pressure for a shower the following morning but it was adequate and did the job.

good value for money , tucked away from the main streets so was quiet , it was clean and comfortable, plenty of tea coffee and milk was provided. very friendly hosts .

the heating came on over night which made the room very hot , had the window open but the wind was rattling the wooden blind so kept waking during the night . would of been nice to of had the use of a fridge to keep bottled water cool and milk . on booking we were led to believe we would have use of a parking permit , this was not the case and had to park three streets away .

Location was perfect near to the beach and shops. Well procented clean room tea and coffee in the room was a brillant touch to the room. Most of all meeting Steve the seagal. Was the big high light of the stay he was brilliant. Can't wait to rebook and stay again staff at timrick lodge was lovely and friendly highly recommend the place to stay.

Nothing not to like

Everything about our stay was perfect, we arrived early and was able to enter our room straight away which was great as we had our dog, room was spotless and very accommodating, bed was really comfortable, property was a stone throw away from the seafront which was great for us, very friendly and welcoming, will definitely return and looking to book again.

The room was lovely. Small but functional and nicely designed and decorated away from the road. Lovely sound of seagulls very clean Andy was a brilliant host, sending emails about directions and another so he could meet us personally Couldn’t fault this place we are looking to rebook in august A real gem of a place

Absolutely nothing

Friendly from the second you walk through the door. The property is clean and beautiful inside and out.

Sadly being disabled I had to climb stairs to our room which was a pain. We were on the top floor. But apart from that it was a lovely stay. Noise travelled well and we were aware of noise but it didn’t really bother us.
