our second stay at Apollo, had a big family room with two separated rooms. All clean and comfy. Parking outside the hotel for a fee. Breakfast offers variety of food, fresh and tasty.

I requested a Valentines day package, did more than expected. Got loads for what i paid for. The salt cave is amazinggg, great for naps. Sauna is also really good, gets really hot.

we came down for breakfast at 9 and there was barely any food left in the buffet, so we didnt get the full breakfast experience.

we got a nice room, very clean, after my request I got a large bed which was perfect for myself and kids to speed comfortably.

the only thing I didn’t like was the staff, I really miss a warm nice welcome with. just got the basic informations and I was sent to the lift without any questions if I need a help maybe (3kids+3suitscases+3backpacks).. so I guess this is definitely something they could improve.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was always attentive and ready to answer questions. The room was very comfortable and the location was decent - it's very close to the central bus terminal an easy walk there and it's about a 15 or 20 minute walk to the older part of town. The breakfast was very good and the service was pretty good as well.

They say that breakfast ends at 10:00am but they start putting everything away about 30 to 40 minutes before so in reality it ends around 9:15. I would suggest either making the times more accurate to when they are still serving - as in food is still out or keep the food out until 10 when you say it ends. I arrived around 9:30 one morning and found most of the stuff put away. I also saw plenty of other guests who came down between 9:15 and 9:45 who didn't get much of a chance to eat since things were being put away already.

A large selection of food at breakfast, some gluten free options. There were some different dishes every day. Very nice and helpful staff answer to all the questions, speak english. On our last night at the hotel we had a problem with youtube on the TV, after reporting the problem to the staff (it was around 10pm) the staff immediately fixed the problem quickly. Spacious hotel room, clean, tidy. Great location, close to shopping centers. Through the window of the room we saw a great view - Bratislava Castle.

Although there were no queues, the elevator is very small. The hotel itself has a classic style, but some of the furniture or things in the room are a little worn.

The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The breakfast choice was extensive. The actual physical hotel is excellent.

Information regarding the car park is ambiguous. It is not the hotels car park, on arrival we struggled to get entrance ticket and reception said it was probably full and nothing to be done. Fortunately space became available and got in but it was constantly full. If you are arriving by car be aware. Undoubtedly the rudest reception staff I have met. The lady on check in was as unhelpful as possible, apart from the car park we arrived at 13:45 to be told reception not open for check in until 14:00. Enquired if they had street plan and answer no. Fortunately colleague of hers overheard and dealt with us.

We are coming back from our Bratislava trip and I'm using this opportunity to write a review. The Apollo hotel is neat, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. They serve different warm meals every day and there is a set of foods that are repetitive (salads, ham/salami, fruit yogurt etc...). You can help yourself with a glass of water/lemonade in the lobby, by the reception whenever you want. Towels are changed at a daily basis. People here said that is a bit outdated, but I think that that it's on purpose, it possess that last century's charm. It's not far away from the city centre, you can either go there on foot or take a bus/cab. Air conditioning was working in our room. We stayed there with our toddler. Great value for money!

The elevator.....if you can go on foot, take a stairs...you'll be waiting the elevator for ages.

The free minibar was good surprise! The hotel seems to be in the mid of a renovation since the reception and breakfast room have a more classic decoration, whilst the rooms are more modern. The room had a very decent size, TV with Netflix; the bathroom was big and modern. The breakfast was varied and good! The location, even though not super central, is nearby a bus station and just a 20 min walk from old town square. It was a good stay overall!

The hotel has 2 elevators for the guests but, unfortunately, one of them was not working and the other one was always taken by people trying to go up/down. We had to use the stairs almost all the time... but it was good to spend some calories after the breakfast!

We really enjoyed our 3-day stay at Apollo Hotel. We liked the place a lot, even if some people would say that this hotel seems a bit "old-fashioned" - actually this was even the charming part in our opinion. The staff (especially the guy at the reception) was really nice and helpful, we had the opportunity to interact a few times with him and were always satisfied. The wellness area is equipped with a sauna, a salt cave and a smaller gym. We used the salt cave and the sauna and it was really great - everything was clean, very relaxing. If you book the deluxe room for example then everything is included, otherwise you have to pay some additional fee for using the sauna. In times of Covid there are only people staying in the same room allowed to use the wellness area at the same time, so you have to book an appointment in advance if you want to use it. The positive fact is that you can enjoy everything for yourself. Breakfast and food was great in general (we had half-board, breakfast and dinner included). The deluxe room was nice, comfy and well equipped - we enjoyed it, although it could be a bit spacier. You have the possibility to use the private parking of the hotel for around 10€/day but there are a few parking spots available all around the hotel that are free of charge, so if you don't really need camera surveillance for your car then this might be a good option. You need approx. 15 min to the city center by foot, even if this hotel is not located completely centrally we liked it's location, it was really calm. In our opinion this place offers a stay for a good value, we liked it and will definitely come again!

We had dinner included with our room - there could be a bit more choice of (included) food, but it was tasty anyway. The temperature in the room was not really adjustable, after some time it was always too hot. But in winter it's better too hot than cold, so it was okay for us, we just opened the window a bit.

The location is great - 20 minutes away from the city center on foot and there’s a bus stop in front of the hotel. The breakfast was quite good as well. Our room had a terrace to we were able to enjoy the view from the top of the building facing the square in front of hotel. There’s a parking available (15€ per day) which was something important as we came with our car.

Some of the furniture shows signs of usage and there’s only one elevator which was a problem when lots of people were trying to return to their rooms after breakfast and others were leaving the hotel.
