Here are my main highlights of my 6 night stay at the Hotel Garni Dock in Bratislava. When booking a hotel, the most important aspects I consider are cleanliness and the location. That being said, read below: - The hotel is at a perfect location and I feel like it should be commented on a bit more. The hotel is right next to the brand new Bratislava bus terminal, so if you come in from Vienna airport by bus (or anywhere else) you just have to cross the street once out. The new station is actually underground and above it sits a brand new 3 storey mall with a rooftop garden and great views over the city. It is a 10-15 minute scenic walk to the historic centre with great bus connections. The danube and the Euronova mall and leisure broadwalk are even closer. - The hotel is very very clean, the room was spotless and very spacious. My room was located under the roof with automatic blonds and windows. Despite a week long heatwave, the room was cool and fresh. - The wifi is great. I was there for work and needed it a lot for zoom meetings etc. - Breakfast; Family owner hotel actually with lovely staff, both the manager Dušan and his coworker at the breakfast. The hotel is human sized and it was lovely to have hotel outside. - I am vegetarian and the breakfast featured many options despite some of the reviews claiming it was very limited. They had vegan tofu spreads, all kinds of jams. They actually make the bread themselves and they have typical slovak bakery goods as well as hot and cold breakfast options. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and I was there a week! - The staff is very friendly and reasonable when it comes to special requests, provided it is within their power to do so. I had requested for my partner to join two of the nights, I let them know in advance and it was no issue at all and we were welcomed warmly by the hotel manager.

I didn't have breakfast because I left the hotel at 6:30 in the morning. I am very satisfied with the hotel .. the cleanliness is perfect, it seems that no one has lived there before :) Everything is polished to a shine. Pleasant girl at the reception, immediately responded to the request. And, which was important for me, next to the bus station, since the flight was early. This hotel is recommended!

room 101 ..located at the side entrance, where at 12 at night there are conversations and a smoking room under the window ..everything pulls into the room ..didn’t rest normally before the transatlantic flight ..(but I wanted so ( but otherwise, everything is fine!)

Breakfast was very good, the room was clean and silent, the hotel is situated near offices where I was working so I did not have to use taxi, It is very close to the bus station and staff is very friendly and helpful. I had big problem to find the hotel because my navigation did not work but the receptionist was very patient and helpful and navigate me via phone. Then he was standing on the road and showing me where the hotel is. It was extremely helpful for me.

there is only problem with navigation because the hotel is not on google maps . When you go to the hotel I advice you to get in touch with receptionists for more details

The location is very convenient, a short walk from the Nivy central bus station and shopping mall. It's also not too far to walk from other major locations in the city, including only about 15- 20 minutes from the Danube river. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a good variety.

1. The air conditioning is central and turns on and off automatically according to a pre-set temperature, it can't be controlled from the room. 2. The bread in breakfast didn't taste fresh,

The hotel is next to the bus station. It's clean and cheap and the woman at the reception was very polite. The breakfast was better than a lot of 3 star hotels with scrambled eggs and bacon and as much coffee as you can drink.All in all, this is a good hotel that needs a little touch to make things even better.

The walls are too thin, you can literally hear the other people in rooms next to you and above you while they talk, fart, snore. Everything else in the hotel is good, but something needs to be done about sound isolation.

I believe it is one of the bests places to stay if you are that person, who comes back to hotel only to sleep. Room was clean and cozy, the hotel is situated among offices, so it is calm all day and at night especially. From this place you can easily access Blue church and Old town or Eurovea and Skypark, and the bus stop, where the bus, taking you to Danubiana, is just ten minutes away from here.

Excellent location. Modern room, decor and facilities. Friendly staff. Basic and well done breakfast. Price competitive. Highly recommended.

Soundproofing isn't wonderful - means you will hear other guests clearly if they are blasting music from their rooms or shouting on the corridors after coming back late on a Saturday night. Otherwise a really superb hotel.

Clean, comfortable room and such a helpful & friendly guy at reception. Excellent wi-fi. Lovely hot shower. Great location being near to a large shopping mall & the main bus station and within walking distance of the old town.

Nothing we didn’t like except the breakfast was very limited and could have perhaps had a bit more on offer?

Conveniently located just across the main bus station and within walking distance to the Old Town. Very original and cosy interior, rooms in the upper floor under the roof, with visible wooden elements - very atmospheric. Smooth self check-in late in the evening (apparently reception not working 24/7), with room card to be picked oneself. Quiet at night, abundant and variable breakfast. Good value for money.

Super location, best option when taking an early fly from Vienna the day after. Personnel (Dusan) is super helpful, fast to adapt to our needs and understanding of our special requirements -arriving late, credit card acceptance-. Good breakfast. Great shower in the room.

a reminder on how to close blinds may be handy. Sun rises super early these days and so much light on me is not my favorite wake up.
