The location is excellent being under the Castle, very close to travel links and a short walk 10 minute through to the charming Old Town. The trams stop right outside. Bratislava is small enough to be comfortable yet big enough to be interesting. Staff all excellent.

The car park is a little expensive at €18 per night but at least access is inside the hotel and secure. The spaces are tight so when SUVs are in there, often 5-6 cuts to get in or out - but SUV drivers don't recognise parking lines anyway. Tight spaces. Overall the hotel could do with a facelift as there is some maintenance needed. Any negatives overcome by the location - as ACCOR know.

Location was good, close to the castle and easy to walk to the centre. The breakfast was fine with soya milk available. The room was a decent size with a small wardrobe to hang clothes. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

The 2 lifts could take a while at busy times. The room cleaning was a strange system. You had to say if you wanted the room cleaning before 9am but no option to leave 'do not disturb' while in the room. Cleaners would come while you were in the room and then didn't return on 2 of the days.

Location was perfect. Clean hotel, nice big room. Very friendly, polite and helpful stuff on reception desk.

B/fast could be better. Girl who was working for b/fast was more interested in her phone than what is happening around. On Sunday morning little bit after 7am there were half of the food, cups...missing. You tell her, she just says-ok. Was waiting for cup to make cappuccino more than 15min and finally made it in glass. Also never before had room attended to "make" my bad but throw my pijamas just how she found them under my pillow.

Great location and rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. However not even a cup or glass in the room, no tea / coffee making facilities, no safe and no hangers in the wardrobe.

Computer system had lost my booking (which was all confirmed and prepaid in December) which meant I had to wait for all of our party to check in. As there were 50 of us it took a very long time. This normally would have been fine but the reception area is quite small and staff had chosen to shut the bar due to another party in reception being loud. There was 4 staff in reception and only one checking people in!

The location is just in the heart of Old Town, which was very convenient. The room was good, the bed was perfect. There was an air conditioner (in summer it is just a must). The room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed.

The floor under the bed was not cleaned unfortunately. So it was dusty there. I discovered that by chance dropping my ring, so looking under the bed was not a nice sight. On the last day there was no hot water (but maybe something was broken in the whole hotel)

Facilities, Staff, Location and accessiblity were top notch. Hotel was very well maintained, the staff were professional, courteous and willing to help in many ways. For the price of the room despite my usage being as merely a place to sleep for 4-5 hours it was highly cost effective.

Plug points near the bedside were absent in my room, which may not be a dealbreaker but was a needless mild inconvenience, which was more than made up for by a combination of all other positives. No other negative remarks, the staff were supportive, the rooms were well maintained, the facilities were properly furbished.

Very good location, 5 minutes from the city center. Room was clean and confortable in a quiet area. Breakfast was ok.

It think that a big minus is the lack of an electric kettle and a fridge/mini bar in the room..Nowadays almost all basic hotels have those and was a suprise for us that Ibis hasn't. Now it was winter but in summer time not to have where to put a water or some refreshments it is really a problem. Shower and bathroom need a little bit of renovation but it was clean The cleaning ladies came to knock on January the 1st on 10 o'clock in the morning wich was a little too early No information is printed so if you don't scan the QR code or ask the recepcion you don't know anything.For us it wasn't a problem but maybe for older people who are not used with so much technology it would be...

Location excellent for the old town, transport, sights, restaurants, shopping, very easy to walk to many destinations, or use one of the many transport options, the pre-paid travel system is great, especially if you purchase a ticket valid for a few days /weeks or months. Breakfast was fine, mixed selection buffet style, loved the longer times at the weekend😊 Room not massive, but more the adequate for crashing out in the evening, clean and warm very comfortable bed. Staff all spoke great English and more then helpful with any queries.

Check in was a bit slow, (only 1 member of staff and a few guests waiting) but once more staff came, was quick, easy and very good. Noise from rooms above and adjacent rooms (doors closing and footsteps) could be easily heard, but probably more due to noisy guests crashing around, quiet enough in the night for a good sleep though (and I am a light sleeper) Breakfast choice the same everyday - plenty of it, just no variance especially on the hot side, Room cleaners' way too eager in a morning to get in the room, pre-09.00 most days, and me still in bed with a hangover!! a little later would have been greatly accepted.

The location was perfect as just a 5 minutes walk into the old town which was my favourite part of Bratislava. The bed and pillows are so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. There was something to cater for all guests.Pre Order at the hotel and it's half the cost, so are taxis. Only 19 euro to the airport. Air con in the Room was a godsend in 43' heat. Train and buses run well to visit Vienna. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the company.

I don't have any complaints about this hotel. Great value for the price. I will certainly stay again on my next visit.

The ibis brand is recognized as it is, good value. The location was outstanding, just 10 minutes walk in either direction to the castle or city center. Breakfast included, was pretty good. Parking was easy enough on the street. Room was comfortable and clean. Bar in lobby for drinks.

Air conditioning not the best. Service could be little friendlier. Parking instructions were not super clear, but we figured it out anyway.
